You are quick!!! I've been working on 24 cards for the last week, and still haven't finished! I just have to color the flower and then cut it out!

BUT, I have only had a little time here and a little time there!

I can't even remember what day I mailed you your envie sleeves!!!! LOL! Please let me know when or if you got them in!

Hugs!

I rec'd my package on Friday --- we've had a couple of rough days in our household we had to say goodbye to our Sweet Odie boy dog on Friday --- he had the sweetest - gentlest soul, he could never understand when he ran up to somebody if they didn't pat and talk to him - he thought everyone loved dogs AND he had the cutest smile that he shared with everybody! He gave that cancer one heck of a fight! I am worried about Buddie (they were litter mates) - I'm not sure what is going to happen with him, they were born 13 years ago in March AND have never been apart.

What kind of dog was Odie??? I'm sure that Buddie will have a rough time of it. BUT, I'm sure that your love will help him through! My thoughts and prayers are with you, Buddie and the rest of your family! It's tough to loose a member of the family.

HUGS!

So sorry to hear about the loss of your best dog friend. I'm sure you and your family will miss him. Sounds like he was a good dog. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

LJ,

It isn't always easy to learn new things, like driving, as an adult! Many people NEVER learn, if they don't start as a teen! I'm so happy to hear that you should be getting your license in a couple of weeks! I'm sure that you will be smiling from ear to ear when you pass that test, and drive out of that lot!

Big Hugs!

Default I hope everyone had a blessed and safe Memorial Day!

I started my day with my son's last parade with his high school marching band. I didn't think it would affect me, but I found myself tearing up as I watched him play his drums.

Graduation is SUNDAY!!!! My baby boy is almost done with high school! I don't know what I'll do when he goes off to college in August!

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who lost a friend or loved one while fighting for our country. This is the first Memorial Day since the end of the war in Iraq. It is sad to think that we lost 4,487 men and women during the war. I can't begin to imagine what it feels like to loose a son or daughter this way, as so many have. My heart goes out to you, also!

Hugs,
Jane

Default You are all a blessing to me and to this project!

AND to all the people who benefit from the beautiful cards that you make and send in to the RMD Houses! When I started this project, I NEVER imagined that I would ever make it to 10,000 cards! BUT, we have, and with everyone's help, 15,000, then 20,000!!!

WOW! I have high hopes! Thanks everyone for the wind beneath my wings!

Default Happy Sunday!

It is a bright, beautiful Sunday morning here in WI! The birds have been chirping since the sun came up! The yard, trees and birdhouses are full of new babies! We seem to have a lot of finches this year! I have a purple finch that set up house in my fushia that hangs on the front porch! I'm so afraid to water it, but I guess that the nests get wet in the rain! It won't be long before they fly off to make nests of their own!

Have a wonderful day everyone! My son's graduation is this afternoon, and it is wonderful to have all of our family around for a visit!

I hope everyone has a marvelous day!

This is an exciting project! for more info, see the link in my siggy! I'm helping heather out with this swap, because she is going in for some surgery!

Hi everyone. I am adopting the Richmond, VA house. I was born and raised in the Richmond area, so I figured I would take this one since there aren't any in my area of PA. I had an opportunity a few years ago to make use of a RMH when my friend's son went to the Alfred Dupont hospital in Delaware. I was very impressed with it. It's amazing what a comfort being in a somewhat familiar place can be to a family. I am going to present this to my church's outreach program director and see if we can "adopt" this as an outreach also.

I am willing to take any advice you guys have on what to do, how to do it, what items besides cards would be acceptable, etc. Thanks in advance for all the advice I can get.

Jane, do you have a list of all the houses that have been adopted so far?
