May I post this here? My very dear friend, Angel Schmidt, has a 2 year old grandson that was born with a rare blood disease, Thalassemia Major. He has had one blood transfusion after another, and more recently underwent chemo in preparation for a bone marrow transplant, which he received on January 27 of this year.
