Card Request for Accident Victims

I’m posting the following request for another SCSer, Mary Wells (mawtx53):


I'd like to request cards and prayers for my friend, Teri Masone, and also for Teri’s friends, Sid and Tory Cammeresi. Teri was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Sid when a hit-and-run driver ran a red light and slammed into the motorcycle, seriously injuring Teri and Sid.

Teri, Sid and Tory are members of the same church. Teri has been serving as music director, so I'm sure she would love music themed cards. During church services she plays the guitar and piano as well as sings. She leads prayer retreats. She also likes Christian symbols such as crosses. She is a very good cook and baker so recipe cards, or food themed cards, would be good.

I’d love for Teri and her friends, Sid and Tory Cammeresi, to receive cards of encouragement as both Teri and Sid face a lengthy recovery period.

I'm so sorry to hear about their misfortune. My brother was in a motorcycle wreck in his youth. The silver lining was that he was 4F during the Vietnam War, but it's no fun suffering through recuperation for a long, long time. I'll get cards to you for both Teri and Sid, and keep them in my prayers for their recovery.

Hi Shelly,
I just talked with Teri tonight. She sounds very tired and is in a lot of pain. Today they moved Sid and Teri both into a rehab center closer to home so that is nice. Just please keep them in your prayers as they continue to do rehab and also for Teri's pain.

Thanks for the update. I can imagine they and their families are happy to have them closer--and moving to rehab is a sign of progress!
