I finished The Aviator's Wife. Now I am reading Saving CeeCee Honeycutt. What a beautiful book! It has captured from the first page!

I won't be reading Shadow of night anytime soon, its out of my budget unless it goes on sale or is lendable. I don't see my library having it anytime soon.

Smokiesgal, I'm only on page 83, but liking the book a lot. I'm going outside now to read, before the heat forces me back in.

I am currently reading two books. One is an encyclopedia of Celt symbols/people/places etc, which is very important to me, I am Pagan, and believe in the Celtic Gods.

The other book, which I am re-reading for the upteenth time is Here Be Dragons, by Sharon Penman. It is the factional retelling of the three way relationship between King John, his illegetitimate daughter Joanna and her husband Llewellyn, a Prince of Wales. It was a purely political marriage, marred by wars and family feuds, but they found love in a time when arranged marriages rarely did find love, and it's a truly touching story. It's also where my username comes from, Llewellyn gave his wife the pet-name of Breila, which means "dusky rose" in welsh.

What a beautiful story and I love how you captured your username from the book. I can tell you are very passionate about it.

Finished part I of Saving CeCe Honeycutt. I am so loving this book. They really need to make this book a movie. If you love The Help or Steele Magnolias you will love this book. Here is a UTube from the author.

Movie is pretty good too.

both of those books are great! The movie of The Secret Life of Bees is just as good as the book! One of the only movies that captures the book!

Has anyone read The Harbinger? I am trying to get through it, but it seems redundant. Interesting, but repetitive so it is taking a little longer to get through. What are your thoughts?

Cool! I haven't ordered from MFT in a while. Love their stuff.

I did get a Sweet n' Sassy order in yesterday. But I haven't played with it yet. I also have some CTMH goodies coming my way.

Lately, been trying to get swaps done.

MFT has some great prices on dies that are on sale. And if you need a coupon they are offering 20% off to join their text alerts. Just text joinmft to 46786 and you'll get a coupon code.

I need to get some motivation, I joined a Christmas tag swap and am just not feeling it yet. I still want to play with fall colors!

Good morning

Dell, I don't have any S&S, but they are on my wish list.

I'm not reading anything at the moment, I'm trying to get swaps finished up before my October vacation.

But am looking for a good vacation read, any suggestions?

Totally understand getting swaps finished. You will love S&S! Korin, the owner is such a gem!

Where are you going in October?

I pre-ordered The Signature of All Things today from Audible. Can't wait till it is released on Oct 1st. It is written by the same author that wrote Eat, Pray, Love; Elizabeth Gilbert.

I've never used an audio book, what do you listen to them on? I guess I just always thought they were expensive. And I like lendable so I can swap with friends.

They usually run a deal from time to time. Just check out their website at Audible.com. You earn credits and then use them each month and they also have special offers they extend to you. It works out for me.

I listen to all kinds of books. I am mostly a historical fiction type of reader though. I download them to my IPhone and have it set up to listen through my speaker system while driving. If I didn't listen in the car I would probably rarely read at all.

I loved her newest book. I just need to figure out how to shrink some of the receipes. She is feeding 20 hungry cowboys, and I am feeding 2. She has favs in there that I already do, so it was really more for fun than actually getting new ideas.
