I'm currently re-reading the series and have just started Eclipse.

Hi Twilight fans!

Dairy Queen -- your avatar is GORGEOUS!!!

I also want to chime in about the love for Midnight Sun -- I think, even though it's unfinished, that it's my favorite part of the series.

Propecia -- which Italian charm store is this? Maybe this will give me a reason to dig out my bracelet and wear it again!

It's a local one here in Omaha at Westroads Mall. All charms are $5. I can pick one up for you if you want! I have no idea what they will look like. I have to go in on Wednesday to pick up an Atlanta Braves charm I ordered for myself so I can check them out.

I also loved the Midnight Sun draft online. I wonder (and maybe someone knows) when she finishes it, is it going to be his narration through all 4 books or just the first book? The thing that disappointed me the most about Breaking Dawn is that Edward was not narrating the middle of the book.

Oh, thank you for that offer, Propecia! That is sweet of you. How about you post here when you've seen the charms, and we can go from there? Thanks again for offering -- that is so kind of you.

SPOILER ALERT (for those who haven't read Breaking Dawn):
And about what you said about Breaking Dawn -- I just posted the EXACT SAME THING on another Twilight board I visit. It makes me absolutely nuts that Jacob takes over such a huge portion of that book and that we don't get to hear what Edward is thinking. I think that was a really bad move on the author's part. And as a huge fan of the books, I'm definitely not a tough critic on Stephenie Meyer, but I really think that Jacob was not the right character to give the book over to. I think it would be a dream come true if Stephenie Meyer would continue to write with Edward's point of view, since Midnight Sun was so amazing. But, for starters, I'd just love her to finish that one first!

I will post when I have seen them. I bet they sell out fast so if you guys want them and if there are quite a few of you who do, maybe I can do some kind of order with the store for after Christmas or something.

Pro I am interested int he charms too. I am wondering what they look like.

We just got back from the Movie! We loved it!! it does have some 'slow' areas but once it gets going good into the whole Edward/Bella connection it is good. We love the music on the soundtrack too.

I agree with you both about Braking Dawn, I would have loved for that to be more Edward and I sincerely hope she does finish Midnight Sun, Edward deserves to have his thoughts heard

Hi ladies, almost done Breaking Dawn...I'm loving this book & series! I thought I had read somewhere that SM was not finishing or publishing Midnight Sun because it had been leaked, hence the portion on her website. I hope that I'm wrong, because I loved Midnight from Edwards point of view. It sure put the the story into a different perspective!!!!
We are off to the movie tonight, I can't wait!!!!

what it is with Midnight Sun is she, Stephanie Meyer, has put it off indefinitely until she feels good about continuing it on her time...I hope she does finish it.

She said it might take her up to 2 years for her to be able to go back and finish it.

YAY, I finished it-finally!!! And of course LOVED IT! I think it's my fav! I can see what you all mean about giving so much of the book to Jake. Maybe she could have cut that in half and giving the other part to Edward. Oh well it's done now. I do hope she finishes ms. Where did you all find an excerpt of that book?

Here is the link to the "partial draft" of Midnight Sun. Enjoy!

The only problem with this is that there is no way to print it -- I can't even begin to imagine how many times I would have read this by now if I could have printed it! Even incomplete, this is my favorite part of the series. Oh...if SM would only finish it!

Julie-
I am in the same frame of mind as you.
Okay nail me to a board- but I have not read MS yet! I have it saved to my PC. I just have not had the time to sit at my computer and read 300 pages. I thought if I could just print it- or copy and paste it into word- I could take it with me on the go....
but alas........
soon........

Hey Eve!

I don't have a laptop, so I know what you mean. Sitting at the computer reading is not as pleasant as being able to curl up somewhere! But MS is just like the other books -- it'll make you stay up really late reading!

guys, do you think there is a website out there that would tell about the songs on the soundtrack. What I want to find out is at what time in the movie did the certain songs take place. Ex. flightless bird american mouth was the song they danced to at the prom.
Thanks~

Welcome Sarah-we are all in the same "family"!!!!!
We are all a little cukoo for vampires!

Thanks Propecia, I'll go check out the site. I can remember a few of the songs and where they go in the movie, but not most of them. I LOVE the soundtrack and even my 3 yr. old asks for "twilight" at bedtime!!!!

My 11yo dd knows where they are in the movie, however, she is at her 1st dance (sniff, sniff).
I do know several though:
Supermassive Black Hole - Muse - baseball scene
Decode - Paramore -not in the movie, but written especially for it (if I'm remembering that correctly)
Full Moon - The Black Ghosts - Bella leaving AZ and arrv'ing in Forks
Tremble for my Beloved - Collective Soul - right after Edward pushes the van away from Bella
Never Think - Rob (sigh) Pattinson - in the restaurant eating mushroom ravioli

I think that Rob had a 2nd song in the movie that is NOT on the soundtrack. The scene after Bella was bitten and she is having flashes...I believe that is him singing, but not 100% sure.

Wow, knew more of them that I thought.....not obsessed though

First, daisy you HAVE to read this!!!! Yes Mommies everywhere are in love with this series. I don't know if I can really put into words what it is that I love so much. Maybe it's feeling like a teenager again, going through your first love. Maybe it's the romance and the way SM writes the book. Maybe it's the connection between Bella and Edward. IDK, it's such a story of soulmates and a love connection that shouldn't be! You need to read it, as a gift to yourself!!!!!

Thank you Cindylou. My DD's and I had figured out a few that you had listed but I'm glad you mentioned when Never Think was on. I didn't remember that at all! One of my DD's said that we should go see it for a 3rd time as an excuse to find the rest of the musical sceens! I don't know, we'll see!
And don't forget Bella's Lullabye is when they are jumping through the trees and at his house playing the piano-is that right?

And don't forget Bella's Lullabye is when they are jumping through the trees and at his house playing the piano-is that right?

As I was listening to the soundtrack while picking dd up from her dance.....I remembered
Go All The Way (Into the Twilight) - Perry Farrell - as they are walking into prom
DD and I have seen it 3 times, I have a 4th viewing under my belt w/out her I was going to go this evening ... the original release date, but Xmas shopping had to be done as I was alone, w/out dd,for the 1st time in a really really long time. I did stop at Hot Topic though and got dd a stupid lamb tshirt

Yes he does have a second song called 'let me sign' but it does not appear on the soundtrack

It is on the soundtrack if you buy from iTunes. They have 3 extra songs on the soundtrack they sell.
