I wanted to bring this to attention to anyone that has a Blog.

Today I recieved a comment on my blog. Of course I went to check out who sent it to me.

I had some questions about it. Because it looked kinda funny. So I did a google search for the name. I didn't find anything bad. So I clicked on the name..

I sure wish that I didn't!! Why? Cause it was filled with Spam and Virsues.

I'm so Glad that I have a Good Virus protection on our computer. Cause it caught it and cleaned out.


So please be careful! And don't click on a comment that you don't know.

you need to click the feature that makes them enter a code before they can add a comment. I had the same comments on mine.. Now I don't have any of these.

I was getting these daily, so I had to turn on comment moderation. Believe it or not, I still get one once in a while, but I just delete them.

The security code they enter before commenting didn't stop them for me.

that trashcan does come in handy doesn't it??? I've had a couple in different languages and googled it and then deleted it too...was spam. Pretty sad you can get spammed on your blog now too.

I use wordpress- it's free and has it's own spam deleter. I love it as I don't have to moderate posts!!

I've just started having a spam problem. For a long time I never had any issues. It's always on the same post and it's a post that gets pulled up frequently from google searches. I keep reporting it to Typepad, but I'm not sure that this will really help because I think they have to get several reports of issues all coming from the same origin before they will do anything.

Thank you so very much for this information. I have been dealing with this stuff for quite some time. I was just able to go in and fix everything. Thanks again for the information.
