A friend just told me she couldn't leave a comment in my Blogger comment section, after trying a few times. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?
Someone please help me, I don't have many followers so I would love to have some "love" left by who are there to enjoy it!
Thank You!!

I have problems leaving comments in certain blogs and I don't know why. Some get posted easily and others I can't get to post no matter how many times I try. I'd like to know why also.
You know what? In the new Blogger version, they took away the choice for inline vs. popup comments - I didn't realize that till today.
Lots of people are having problems - it's like it rejects their login info. Felixdog do you have a google account?
Yes, I do have a google account. When I try to comment on a blog it will ask me to sign in when I'm already signed in. It just keeps asking me to sign in no matter how many times I've done that. Funny, it's not on all the blogs i try to comment on.
No one seems to know what to do or how to fix it. The only help they could offer was to have the Guest "Preview" their comments before posting, then it fixes itself. How do I ask my Guests to try that every time they visit? I'm pretty bummed about this thing

That happens to me sometimes too. I've noticed that occurs much more often if the blog owner only has Google Account and the Open ID options for commenting. It rarely happens if I can choose "Name/URL" as an option for leaving comments. But a lot of blog owners don't have the Name/URL option enabled.
The other day I did find that if I use Firefox it doesn't seem to happen. I usually use IE9 because I can print easier on that. Firefox doesn't give me the necessary options for printing only parts.

I've been having this same problem. If the comment section is part of the post, I can't leave a comment even though I'm signed in. If I choose "google account" from the drop down box of choices it tells me that I'm not allowed to leave a comment with that username and I have to sign out and sign back in again. That doesn't work. For those blogs that offer "name/url" I've used that option and it works. For those that the comment is a pop-up box I've have no problem. I feel bad for those who have the inline comment because they are probably wondering why no one has left them a comment. I wish this would get fixed soon. It's really annoying.
I was having trouble leaving comments on imbedded comments, but figured out that if I start at www.blogger.com and sign in there (instead of on my blog) I'm able to leave comments on any blog now. So, when I sign on to the computer, I will also sign into blogger that way I won't forget when I leave comments.
Not sure what blogger's problems are these days but this seems to alleviate the problems...
I gave up on commenting on blogs because I had the exact same problem that Felixdog had. Here's what someone told me to do, and it WORKS!!!
Log OUT of your gmail. UNCHECK the box that keeps you logged in.
Yes, you will have to log in every time you open gmail, but that's a minor hassle compared to the pain you go through trying to comment on blogs. One good thing from this is that you won't forget your password so easily!
