Boy, I must be a remedial computer user. I can't even find where to leave comments on a lot of blogs. Is there a certain set place? Obviously, I'm not ready to have one of my own ha, ha!;)
Lisa, you are so funny! So, just look under the post and see if there is a little word that says "comments". It is often by the date and time of the post. If that does not work, so people are smart enough to be able to change the words like "Love Left" or whatever (please note I am NOT one of those cool people...i am just happy I can post and upload my pics! LOL) and try clicking that.
If that does not work, link up a blog where you can't the place to leave a comment and I can try to find it for you.
If the comment form opens in a popup window, your pop up blocker may be preventing that from opening. Many bloggers do choose a popup window for the comment form.
Or if you're like me, you already have the popup comment form open (since it's in a separate new browser window) and keep clicking the comment button anyway and then get all embarassed when you realize it's already ope
For months this has been plaguing me. I really must be missing something.
I pick my comment profile (Google in my case). I have a Google account. Why will my comments never post? This is really driving me nuts. I can never leave comments anywhere :(
Can someone please explain this to me? What do I need to do? I'm so confused and frustrated with this.

Have you tried doing it with just name/URL or even anonymous? Sometimes I have trouble with google but not those. Also, if the blog author moderates comments, that will keep them from posting right away.
A few things... Are you logged into your Google Account when you try? If you're logged in in another tab in your browser, you should be good to go, but if you're not, it won't be able to load your google account info into the comment form.
Next, does your browser have a pop up blocker running? Or your anti virus? Google Chrome's popup blocker is maddening and many bloggers have their comment forum open in a pop up window, so it might be blocking it and you never even see it.
What happens when you choose your account and hit submit? Nothing?
Lydia, you are so smart! I never understood the Google thing. I assumed that it would log me in automatically when I clicked on it. Perhaps not? I'll check it out tonight and see if that works any better, but it makes perfect sense. Thanks! Fingers crossed.

Do you have 3rd party cookies disabled in your browser? That was my issue a few weeks ago. On Firefox, it is under tools then options then privacy I believe.
Has anyone had the problem of being logged into your GOOGLE ACCOUNT and blurfing and when you try to comment on certain blogs and select your id...you are directed to the GOOGLE LOGIN, you login and are directed back to the comment form, you hit submit or comment and it asks you to LOGIN AGAIN and then it is just this vicious loop and your comment never posts?? I'm so frustrated with this and it only happens on some blogs while others immediately recognize that I'm a logged in user of google? I don't think it has anything to do with the word verification because you don't even get that far before this stupid loop around chasing your tail around the login screens happens. I've checked and double-checked all my settings and I even checked my own blog settings to try and get an idea of what filter/setting these blogs could be using to avoid my comments? My last conclusion is that it must have to do something with the new IE 9 which has been a complete nightmare since I ran the update?? HELP? and sorry for all the yelling...I'm pulling my hair out!!:confused:
On my work laptop I have an old version of IE (6), and I have this happen to me. UGH
I have found that logging into my blogger blog first seems to do the trick. I have no idea why!
Funny you should post this, I just cleared out my cookies today and when I tried to respond to another post, it did the same thing to me here st Splitcoast. I have my passwords set up where they are automatically filled out for me by Norton Security. What I eventually had to do was erase what was already fill in and manually retype my address and password in. Then it worked.
If i am signed in my google mail account and then attempt to leave a comment on a blog created with blogger, it doesnt regognize that I am already signed in and asks me to resign in. When I do, its then behaves like I am trying to establish a blog. i just want to leave a comment .
Are you all experiencing this too
