I just created a blog yesterday and am trying to learn all the how to's. I would like to make a watermark for my cards and I was told that Gimp was a good program for that so I just d/l it and now I feel a little like a deer caught in headlights.
I have no clue how to go about this so step by step directions are what's needed here...or please direct me to any posts on how to make and apply a watermark.
Not sure how to add a link her or under my name. Can someone help me with that?

That's for a basic text-only one.
In post #15 I describe how I use brushes to add images to mine.
If you want a text-only watermark, I believe many people use Picasa to create theirs - it's less of a learning curve.
