Can you put SVG'S in blogspot?

Can anyone tell me if you can put svg's on a blog hosted by google/blogspot? I can't seem to be able to do it. It says it won't support that type of file. Is there some other way to post a svg? Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are trying to do it by uploading it as an image then the answer is no. The only ones they accept are JPG, GIF, or PNG files. To add what you are looking for you must edit the code. Here are some links that may help you:

Just a thought-Remember that some browsers will not allow the users to see embedded SVGs. That is one of the reasons Blogger does not support them.

I also have a blog on blogspot. I post my svg's on Box (Box | Simple Online Collaboration: Online File Storage, FTP Replacement, Team Workspaces) and put the link on my blog. You will need to open an account on Box, you upload your svg there and click the little icon to "share" which gives you the code to link it to on your blog. I know it sounds confusing but if you go to my blog and check out the svg's I have there (on the left side bar) it may make more sense to you. If not just ask and I can walk you through it.

Thank you for all the hints!! I will see if I can figure it out. I am not techo stupid, just challenged sometimes! Thanks again I hope I can figure it out. I have a great couple of boxes I would like to share.

LOL...I can't tell you how long it took me to figure that darn thing out. I think I am techo stupid. I am one of those people that if I see it once than I can do it otherwise I am lost.

THANK YOU SUE!!! I got the SVG'S on my blog and it actually worked. I think I have it down now. I knew it had to be simple. I actually had an old account on Box. Now when did I do that and why did I do that? Anyway THANK YOU to everyone who helped me. What a great community of crafters!
