Ok I finally got everyone added. I have a quick question about the challenges (I know mines pretty far away, but its never too early for ideas) do they have to be for cards or could it be an altered item or such? Thanks
An altered item sounds great to me however it would be nice if it is easily obtained. I live in a beautiful area but the nearest craft store is 80 miles away. We do have a super WalMart in the area though. If it needs to be bought at a craft store would you give us a couple of weeks for a heads up? I don't know if anyone else is in the same boat as I am...................

Dress rehearsal is tonight and it will be presented Friday and Saturday night for the community. I think it will be pretty good since some of the participants are tearing up as they watch and they know what's coming. Today I wrote on the sign for the cross as I finished it up. It was all Greek to me! Literally! Thanks for asking about things.
For challenges you can do cards, altered items, scrapbook pages, etc.

Thank you! I made the changes I am home alone tonight for a few hours! I have been catching up on swaps and cards and all sorts of stamping tasks It is amazing how quiet the house can be without 4 kiddos home. I should be cleaning and picking up, but I know you all will enable me
Martha you can check the beginning of this thread to find the challenge hostess and dates. Jennifer is standing in for someone else. The next challenge begins 4/22 but I will probably post it early. You still have time to participate in the current challenge if you like! Any other newbies out there that didn't know about the current challenge may feel free to join in. You can find info on my current blog post or go to Jennifer's blog at just coffee please to find the info you will need.

NOW! with that said, what my other blog group does (Kreative LadyBlogs) is we created a separate thread for our challenges. I could do that for us too. It's not hard at all. All you have to do is subscribe to this thread and to the challenge thread.
What does everyone think about that?

I like it too. I think I had mentioned that a few weeks ago. When we load our photos to our galleries we can use a specific code so that we can view the entire gallery of each blog challenge. Sue, can you figure that out?

Actually, I just noticed that Tanja is still on the challenge list. Do you want me to just take her place? Of course, that still doesn't solve the problem of May 6th unless Kristi wants to take it anyways. Please do whatever is easiest for you. I don't want to be difficult. I really appreciate you taking the time to organize all of us.
BTW, I think having a separate thread for challenges is a great idea!

also a reminder to everyone to comment at least one time a week on everyone's blogs! I'm noticing some people are doing great at posting frequently to their own blogs, but not quite making the rounds as often as the regs mention. just saying fair is fair, not trying to be super critical. ('cause I know that every comment counts to someone like me! )

Hi Annie and welcome! On the fist page of the thread you will find everyone's name and blog list that you can list on your blog roll. Simply post to your blog at least once a week and then post a comment on each of our member's blogs at least once a week. There are some wonderfully talented and very nice people in this group that you will have fun getting to know.
Several people have wanted to have the addresses so that we can send cards and such if we want. I am going to be working on this list today and will PM it to everyone at some point this weekend. My hubby and I are sharing a computer right now and since he used it for work, he gets it when he needs it, but he is gone all day so I will have plenty of time to get it together. If you want to be part of this list, please send me your full name, address, and birthday and anniversary dates if you want.
It's me again!! See how much I can accomplish when I have the computer all to myself! So i am working on the list of addresses and so far I have the addresses for: Me (Gina), Jennifer, Katy, Tiffany, Paula, Sara, Julie, Sue, Carmen, Karen, Dru, Peggy and Annie.

Hello ladies - I have been trying to catch up from all of the posts this week since I was pretty much absorbed in TAXES!! Yikes, am I glad that's over for now after filing an extension!

Peggy you may have July if you would like. Some of us were listed twice because there were more challenge weeks then there were members.
Sue would you mind making the change?
Why don't we compose a list of guidelines and post those at the top of the thread too so that everything is in one place and folks know what they are signing up for. This might be a first draft that we can compose together.[/COLOR]
Blog Member Guidelines
1. Post to your own blog at least once per week and if you can't, leave a message in this thread so that we know what is going on.
2. Post to EACH members blog at least once per week. Many of us leave multiple comments because we like what we see on our Sistah's blogs. That is up to you. You are not expected to leave comments while on vacation but many folks make the rounds and catch up when they return and leave comments anyway. It's up to you.
3.Post each member on the side bar of your blog under our D.I.V.A. name. Placing this list towards the top is better than at the very bottom of your side bar.
4. Bog challenges are not mandatory but we love it when you can participate!
5. Subscribe to this thread and our challenge thread so that you stay in the loop!
6. If you are unable to fulfill your obligation to visit EACH blog per week, then gracefully bow out and let someone else have your spot.
Many of us are getting to know one another and we like this group. We have many common interests although our creative styles are very different. We also welcome new people to take the old spots. If you look at our blogs as a whole and you like what you see then we are probably a good fit for you. Can anyone think of anything I missed? Comments, criticisms etc..? This is a good support group with some fabulous folks!
