Glad y'all mentioned that about the Cricut - I really thought they had to hook into your computer! Didn't know you didn't have to do that. What's the difference between a Circut and a Gypsy - other than having to use the Gypsy with the computer. I mean, does it do the same thing or what?

Paige, maybe you could put something on the BST forum on SCS to see if anyone has one of the plates you're looking for!

The Spurs are fixing to come on TV so gotta go......................
The Cricut and Gypsy are separate but work together. You can program the Gypsy and then use it to cut with the Cricut. You can also link all your cartridges up to your Gypsy and then not have to load the cart into the Cricut. You actually don't have to buy carts. You can get them through your Gypsy download right to it. Also, you don't use the Gypsy with your computer, you use it with the Cricut.

Yes, I did. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I've been busy and work and at home. I'll figure it out and let you know. I need to find a box that will hold them. I think I can ship them regular mail rather than Priority which I think would cost more. They are pretty light weight.

I'm back again! Not for long, but at least to check in. I'll be catching up with all the posts tomorrow.

Made it to San Antonio and back fairly early today - think it was about 5:00. Sure makes for a LONG day........but we got fabulous news on Jim! Last time he went to the vascular doctor they said one of the legs they'd done the by-passes on, looked like it was stopping up again - and they may have to go in and rip it open again. We were NOT happy at all. Anyway, he went back today and they ran their test, and it actually looked somewhat better!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have to go back in four months and get it checked again but right now we're just happy with the news we got today! Yea!!!!

Will come back tomorrow and catch up.

Awesome news Lynn! I can hear you hollering from here

I am home again - kidlets all well when I left, but DD still a bit husky - lots of cuddles enjoyed, now it is just DH and the cat and me - a lot quieter and less chaotic, but I miss them . The grandparent paradox!!

Good news from both of you. So glad to hear about Jim and great that all the grands are well.

Lynn, I found the perfect box for those DVD cases. I'm going to take it to the office tomorrow and weigh it and see what the postage will be.

Good Morning Fellow Stamp Addicts!

I'm beginning to fear you are all going to kick me out of the group - since I haven't made it to the blogs in way too long. Life is sooooooo hectic right now; little time for computer... Thailand lessons to finish preparing, etc. I am sorry to be such a slacker here!

Too much going on around here it seems!!!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend, prom night, safe travels, etc.........

Things have finally settled a little around here.......we just had too many doctor appointments (our social life) this week!

Maggie, I just sent you a PM on the DVD cases. I didn't even get notified I had a PM and just happened to notice it when I logged into SCS just now. Oh well..............

I got a bunch of goodies in the mail yesterday and today and now I just need to find time to use some of them. Maybe later today or tomorrow.

Oh, I don't know if any of y'all subscribe to The Scrap Review, but it's actually pretty good (and yes, free! LOL) It's basically her blog of reviews of new stuff, etc. A couple of days ago she had a review of something called the Evolution! Looks like a cross between a Cuddlebug and Big Shot! May be interesting to check out.

Just a note to let all of y'all know that Paola had major surgery a couple of days ago. She sent me a PM while ago saying she was home now and doing as well as could be expected. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Morning! Prom was amazing, says dd - still on her way home (after party at good friend's house) and the pictures were stunning that dd sent all night - gorgeous young people! Thank you, Maggie - aka Fairy Godmother - for your sweet Facebook comment!

Waving to all - can't wait to get inky again and 'back in the saddle' but that's going to have to wait a bit more! Karate camp today, dd' final performance with her singing group, another concert across town and apparently I'm bringing two other kids home for a sleepever, says dd14 - yikes! I need rest!

I'm in a few groups with Jeanette and Paola and prayers went up!

Hi to everyone!

Good Morning Fellow Stamp Addicts!

It's a late check in for me this morning - had to go to some yard sales first.

Oh my! Shelly, I'd be stressed, too, if I had 34 messages on an answering machine. (We don't have an answering machine - don't have a house phone either, for that matter - I always figured people would call back if it was important. LOL! Oh, and I don't give my phone # to many people - they can call my DH instead. Can you tell I don't like to talk on the phone??? I do like to text though!)

Lynn, I'm going to have to google the Scrap Review... sounds interesting.

Maxine, so good to see you!

Kelly, I'm glad to hear your DD's prom was GREAT! Going to have to go look at the pictures on fb!

Like Kelly said, I was aware of Paola's surgery and have been praying; will continue to do so.

LOL! No way would we ever kick you out. Life gets busy sometimes and I know that you have so much to get getting ready for your trip.

Speaking of slacking, I think I missed visiting blogs last week. I'll catch up tomorrow with that.

Oh, wow! Your poor mom, having to deal with DH that wants to be at home. I can't say that I blame him though. It's always nicer to be in your own space. How long will he have to be in the rehab?

Safe journey. Glad that you sis went with you.

I think I still have her address. I'm going to try to get a card in the mail to her. Sorry that she had to have surgery. Prayers being said.

Jeanette, no way would we ever kick you out! I'm just happy that you're busy getting ready for that trip - and wish we could all tag along with you!

Kelly, I saw the pics on FB and assume that the blond was your daughter - and yes, she's gorgeous! So pretty! And if that was her date, he's a very handsome young man. So glad she had a good time - and LOVED her dress!!!

Is everyone having a good weekend?

Lynn, awesome news on Jim! Glad to hear it and let's pray 4 months from now will be the same - God is good!

Yes, the blonde in the green dress was my daughter but no, that wasn't her date - LOL! They have been best friends for 7 years and although he absolutely LOVES her and would love to be hers, he's just the big brother she never had We love him dearly and he watches over her just like a big brother would. He's a sweetie pie.

What are we NOT doing this weekend is more like it - lol! i'm home from dd14's concert - last one of the year (to which I say WOOT WOOT!) and home watching dd16 and her friends romp in the pool til it's time to get yet another dd at her party when it ends - ay yi yi. Ds had his 3 hour Karate boot camp today so I've literally spent my day on the road to and fro and fully plan to sit on my bottom when I get back home later and NOT MOVE!!

Kelly, just think how you're going to miss all this fun stuff of shuffling around kids some day! LOL! Right now it probably feels like that'll never happen, right!

Your daughters friend is very nice looking - and it's great she has a "big brother" like that!

Good morning Stamp Addicts! It was nice to be able to sleep a little longer this morning. Of course I woke up twice during the night, but right back to sleep.

I've got friends coming for dinner tonight. I'm going to make a whole chicken in the crockpot.

Hopefully will have some stamp time.

Woah, seems I missed that post - Lynn, until I saw Maggie's reply to yours! I have a graduation girl stamp - in fact, it's on my blog today!

Hi, my name is Kelly and I have an actual blog post!

If you want some stamped images, I can get them in the mail to you!

Maggie, the chicken sounds delish - that's what we're having as well, except from the oven I start baking it around 2 and it's done 4.5 hours later and tender as all get up! I eat the veggies that go around it, they eat the chicken and roasted taters!

This is Riley release week so I have to get crafty! I requested some time off to prepare for graduation but still have to get the hop post in order, plus backed up laundry, grocery shopping and still organize that have done craft Cabana!

I can't wait for summer.

Kelly, I'd love the a copy of that stamp! Thanks so much. I have a couple of girl graduates and one guy so far to have to make a card for. I actually made two graduation cards yesterday but don't like either one. Thanks again and I'll go over and check out your blog post better now! LOL!

Have a good time tonight Maggie. Sounds like fun.

We're just getting ready to watch the Spurs. I got a card made this morning but I'm lacking so bad in mojo right now it's not even funny! I keep trying and everything I do just looks horrible to me. Maybe it's the weather. We got up to 101 day before yesterday and I refused to even look to see what it was yesterday! Depressing!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay, glad I could help! Will Momento Ink on PTI white do okay?

I am thinking I have one from somewhere else but it might be like an Inkadinkado sketch image ... I'll see if I can find it!

We are chillin in the pool today! Just got out and I'm drying off, catching up with my iPad ... I hear you on the hot temps! Thank goodness for shade

Seems so many of us are in that crazy busy time frame and lacking mojo! I know for me, I long for summer!!

Hi, my name is Kelly and I have an actual blog post!

It was soooooooooo good. I cooked it in the crockpot for about 6 1/2 hours. I took it out so it could "rest" before I cut it up. It was very moist and tender. I made broccoli with cheese sauce (the Green Giant kind) and brown rice. They really enjoyed it. I also had a variety of fruit to go with it and made Cherry Almond Brownies for dessert with a big scoopful of low fat chocolate ice cream on top. Yummy!

And I lost 1.2 lbs. this last week! yeah me!

Yikes, you are always so busy!

I had a pretty productive weekend, both good and not so good.

The tree got planted. Now just to keep my fingers crossed that the roots will take and it will survive. With all the old Oak tree roots down in the ground, they couldn't dig a very big hole. I really thought that they would have some kind of machine that would dig the hole. Anyway it is there and double staked. The man told me to water it for 5 min. a day every day for at least 2 weeks and then 3-4 times a week depending on whether or not it rained and how hot it gets. It's not really big enough yet to provide too much shade, but I can't wait to see what it looks like in the Fall. I've really missed how the leaves turn in the Fall.

The lady from Penney's came also on Saturday. I did a lot of rethinking while I was talking to her. The only rooms we really discussed were the storage room, my stamp room, the workroom in the garage and the living room. I think the cost of the living room drapes is more than I want to spend on it, so I'll probably end up getting ready made drapes for it and doing it myself. The other rooms I'm ordering the top down/bottom up shades which have to be custom made to fit the windows. I'm going to one shade over the 2 windows in the storage room and in my stamp room instead of installing a single shade over each window. I think it will be better since they are side-by-side windows with no wall space between them. I need to call her soon so they can be ordered. They may not be done by the time the windows are installed.

Saturday, my lawn man finally came over after I called his house since he didn't show up at 11 a.m. like his wife said he would. I showed him the 2 shrubs that I wanted moved to the back yard, then the place where I want him to put a crepe myrtle and asked him if he could get that for me and he will, and also I'm having him dig up along the left side of the patio to make another flower bed and he'll put one of the shrubs at the front corner and the other one will be planted back by the cat/doghouse along the fence. He's supposed to come this afternoon/evening to do this, so hope he does it. Then I can plant in that bed. I have 4 huge caladiums that I got from our office lobby and I think I may plant some of those in the front bed and a couple in the new bed. I got an e-mail this morning from the local nursery about plants to attract butterflies and hummingbirds, so I'm thinking I need to plant some of those plants in that bed.

Wow, Maggie.............sounds to me like you're super busy!!! Glad the chicken turned out good and now all the stuff you're having done to the house!!! You're really on a clean up/fit up type deal it seems. You're going to love it when it's all said and done though.
I have two big pots of caladiums every year. I don't dig up the bulbs in the winter, but usually end up planing a couple more in the pots every year since they all may not come back up. Also have some around a tree outside that I love - it's must a matter of trying to keep them watered though. The pots are easy to maintain since they're on the back patio and I see them all the time. For hummingbirds (the little beggers!!!) and butterflies I have a plumbago and also a butterfly bush. I'm sure the butterfly bush probably has a fancier name than that - but whatever. Now I wouldn't recommend a cactus - but we have one outside the fence in the back (thorn-less) and it gets these big yellow flowers on it. The hummers LOVE that stuff! It's the kind you just find growing out in the countryside. Jim dug it up from somewhere and stuck it outside the fence. I'm not crazy about it - one thing it's not pretty at all when it's not blooming and they grow FAST! About the only way to get rid of one is to dig up the whole thing and they're big!!!
(Oh, the reason I called the hummingbirds "beggers" is because we have two feeders and are having to fill them at least once a day!!! LOL!!! And sugar isn't as cheap as it once was! I do love watching them though - so we just keep on feeding. We probably have 20/30 that are there all day.

Lynn those hummingbirds sound fabulous I too have a butterfly bush that got eaten to death this summer past - thankfully I had saved some seeds to try again next year.

Maggie you sound so busy!

Thoughts and prayers for those affected by the tornadoes - they sound terrible.

Maggie, congrats on that weight loss!!! Fantastic!!

Maxine, I don't know how that butterfly bush is surviving at all. I always forget to water it! I guess they must not use a lot of water or something.

Isn't that horrible about the tornado that hit close to Oklahoma City!! I just saw a blip on Yahoo saying they have 37 dead so fa!r! So sad. They really do have some bad ones up that way. My daughter lives sorta in the Texas panhandle (not too far from Oklahoma) and I just cringe at the thought of her being up there in tornado alley. I've only been in a couple of those things - and they're frightening!!!
