I've been absent dealing with some family matters, hope to get my life back to some sort of normal this week
Shelly: Very scary for your nephew and all his family. Thank goodness he's ok now!
Lynn: Such great news on hubby's health! Hooray for you being able to get back to a normal life also! I also prefer the X-Large size on your pictures. It's great to be able to see more details like that.
All these recipes and other ideas from Pinterest means that I need to go there and see what I'm missing - ASAP!

I have my workout at the Y completed and I hope to get crafty today after I make out the grocery list for the Super bowl snacks. Need to check out the recipe pins I did for some good eats.

I do not understand how you set your cards to large or XL- before you put them on your blog? I love that I can see so much detail on your cards!

Oh- my computer is not powering up- it is so frustrating- so I am on my daughter's old old computer- I hope it keeps running or I will be out of luck! LOL Keep your fingers crossed for it to get fixed speedily!

Shelly, glad your back and all is doing good today and hope you get your good computer up and running soon. It's really frustrating when that happens!
As far as going from large to ex-large, after I get my photo on my post (and before I publish), I just click on the picture and then you can make it small, med., large, etc..You can also remove it and all that. It just has a bar at the bottom. I'm still trying to figure out the blogger template and a way to do the horiz. pictures.
I'll be around tomorrow and then will be leaving town for a couple of days. Will check back in here either late Friday evening or Saturday! Jim's sister is having a birthday party (for herself! LOL)

Ladies, I've had internet problems so haven't been on much today. And tomorrow I'm leaving on a trip; won't get home again until next Tuesday. I'm taking my laptop and will try to check in, but it will not be very often, I'm sure.
Oh wait! I have a party this weekend too....And need to shop for a nice gift.... Can't really do much in creating this weekend... Maybe next week, I will try my best in creating since now I can access to my craft table and computer.

I tried the Cheese Burger soup recipe that I have on my Pinterest board - and -
probably not something I'd fix again. It was border line ok but nothing to rave about by any means..........Oh well......tomorrow I guess I'll chunk it over the fence and let the coons have it! LOL! It wasn't bad - just not anything special.

I'm home again from a wonderful - and SAFE - trip.
Unfortunately, I have way too much to do today. EEK! Top of the list - Laundry. And, no, Lynn, I can't leave it until tomorrow, because my DH told me he is down to his last pair of undershorts. LOL! I asked him, didn't he know how to use the machine? Of course, it has been 2 weeks since I did laundry, so knew I'd need to do it as soon as I got home.
Last week I made Stuffed Pepper soup and it was yum! Next time I'll add more green pepper. This soups was even better the next day - love when that happens!
Tonight I'm making Lasagne Soup. It smells and tastes so good! There will be left overs, so I'm hoping tomorrow it tastes even better! I'll let you know!
I do have one Pinterest review..........if you notice under favorite recipes on my board, I have Oreo Truffles. I haven't made them, but I had them at a party last week. They're to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very rich and so good! I'd love to say non-fattening too, but afraid that's not very true. They are yummy though!

Thank you for the birthday wishes, it's very kind of you to send them my way! We had fun, I had to work a bit late, so DS & DD met us at our local Chinese restaurant and had a good visit. Stuffed ourselves and had the usual leftovers to take home for lunches today.
This is a big week at work, lots of deadlines and an important meeting tomorrow. The weekend will sure feel good when it's all behind me and my brain & body can relax a bit.

Just wanted to say the leftover Lasagne soup was even better the next day. So I'm thinking the next time I want to make this, I'll make the soup portion a day ahead and then cook the pasta the next day right before serving.
Are you ladies getting tired of my Pinterest reviews? I have one more and then will stop if you want me to! tonight I made Baked Penne with Chicken, Broccoli, and Smoked Mozzarella, recipe is on my Things I Made Board!
This was another winner! I did use only half the jar of sun dried tomatoes, as 8 oz. looked like a lot! Also on my own individual serving I sprinkled on a few red pepper flakes - not too much. I didn't add them to the recipe, as DH is not a fan of spicy goodness! I could eat this once a week or more and there was plenty for leftovers for tomorrow!
Not getting tired of them at all Paige - just making me super hungry! LOL!
It's just nice having people try before I fix something. Of course, what one person likes another might not, but I do have to say the Baked Penne with Chicken, etc. REALLY sounds good!!! Yumm!
Hello ladies- I m MIA lately! I am popping in/out on the computer- the router has an issue I think- I keep having to reset it....Internet is going on/off......It takes an eternity to get thru e-mails on this 'puter.... I called Dell today, and parts they need to fix my computer are on backorder..... How long is an acceptable time to wait?
Hubby is enjoying skiing in Breckenridge with Chris- they got a foot of snow Wed night.
I had a SU party tonight- just finished cleaning up and decided to check e-mail. I am getting good reception tonight, so decided to just stay up and read e-mails. I have to go thru my SU catalog and get my order together. It was a fun party and I got over the $400 where you get a free bag, stamps, DSP and ribbons.
OK- Paige....you are an enabler by the way....LOL....I made cupcakes-Chocolate...filled them to 1/2" from the top so they would get 'mushroom' heads....hahaha and then cut off the top. I made frosting with non-fattening butter, powdered sugar, and maraschino cherries. I frosted them, and after cutting a heart out of the lid, replaced it- so the frosting peeks out thru a heart. I added a little more powdered sugar on top and put the little hearts on a separate plate for nibbling- they were all gone at the end of the evening.....the cupcakes- I sent any leftovers with my friends and only have one left- yeah! I am going to make more for work when I go next.

Work consumed my life the last 2 weeks, had a big meeting to prepare for, it was held yesterday. So it REALLY feels good to get to today and have a life LOL.
Maybe I can learn about how to use Pinterest. The chicken broccoli recipe does sound like something we would love. All the sweets though, I have to steer clear of. DH looks like Santa enough as it is! I don't really have much of a sweet tooth anymore it seems.
You can see that I failed miserably at getting my blog updated. I'm so sorry. Since DD moved back home and is using the craft room, it cramps my creating time. Of course my job also impacts my free time
Enough about my boring life!
Shelly: Woo hoo on the SU party!! Sounds like it was a smashing success and now you get the fun part of picking out your goodies!! I can also sympathize with the router issues. It seems that we have an old one & now that we have so many different devices wanting to connect to the wireless, it has "issues". I keep getting kicked off of ours too. There's always something to add to the house repair shopping list, ha ha.
Paige: Don't stop the Pinterest reviews! Even though I've never been there (do I need an invite? not sure) I will get there eventually and will refer back to this thread for where to go first!
Shelly, that's GREAT about the SU party! Have any of you ever been SU demos and if so, why did you get out of it?? Paige, I keep thinking maybe you were one. I've kicked around that idea in my head so much about doing that, it's not even funny. Keep trying to figure out the pros and cons of it all...............
We're so far behind the times around this house. My son got me an IPhone for Christmas and we finally got Jim's son to connect a router about a month ago. Don't know what he did but I have to disconnect and re-connect it about every three days as it keeps kicking out. Pain!!! My kids keep telling me I need a lap top or IPad now so I won't have to keep running back and forth from the computer room to the craft room. I'm afraid if I did, hubby would never see me again! LOL!
I just spent the last TWO hours creating a card - to ditch it! I got the whole thing finished and decided I didn't like the image, sketch, card....nothing!! Another PAIN!!! I wanted to do the Sketch Saturday challenge but do not like the sketch and guess that's the entire problem! Oh well..............
