Having fair Irish skin, my dermatologist and I are quite well acquainted I'm always in there getting these things frozen off. I have lots of skin tags and these other sticky up brown scabby things - they are called "seborrheic keratosis." They are noncancerous benign skin growths. Like liver spots, you see them more often as you get older. Doc says they are sometimes called the "barnacles of old age.
He told me I could cut off skin tags myself, so I do. Dip scissors in alcohol and snip. They bleed then it's okay.
Well one day probably didn't hurt it too bad! Are you feeling better?
Somewhat, but I didn't sleep well last night. I had some bad foot cramps and woke up coughing quite often. When the alarm went off, I just decided I needed another day off.
Nope it's not on my blog yet. It was VSBN this weekend and it was one the challenges. I need to get it posts in my gallery too. There is another challenge from VSBN I want to do.
Well, that's good you took another day off. If your coughing a lot, you don't want to be around other people. Hopefully you will start to feel better soon.
Just poppin' on to say that I just left Hobby Lobby where all their ribbon/lace was on sale for 50% off....OMGosh! I was on my way to the PO but now I'm opening the box back up to put some more goodies in there for you Athina! I'm so bad....

Hi Ladies! I hope everyone is doing well! I am snuggled on the couch watching some TV. I mailed my package on Saturday and they said it would be delivered today. I am guessing not... but we will se if AM chimes in.
Are we suppose to open them when we get them or wait?

Ohh and this weekend I read a great story with an ending that kind of left me hanging gasp! The author's note said that the characters would appear in future books in a series.

OMGoodness! What a crazy, nutty whirlwind of a couple of days!! We have just been go-go-going!!
Saturday, we made it to town just in time to run a couple of errands, get my hairs cut (I went with a short bob!!), run to Subway for a super duper quick salad and go to the movie two minutes before it started!! We would have gotten in a few minutes sooner, but I insisted on getting popcorn! Movie was pretty good! It was based loosely on Romeo and Juliet! Interesting zombie twist! LOL
On to kiddo # 3's soccer game..it was a disaster. They got stomped on and put away wet. 7-1 OUCH!!
Sunday was my demo meeting. It went well! We talked business, crafted , ate yummy food exchanged swaps and had a good time. It did start to sleet and spew freezing rain from the sky on our drive home. That was a bit of a white knuckle drive, but we made it home okay!
Today was madness!! A power pole on our road caught fire and we lost power for most of the day. My son went on the fire call (he volunteers with the fire dept) and spent most of the day out there. Then we went down the hill to my MIL house because both my SIL and I home school and so MIL is teaching all of our kids (and us!!) to quilt! We are all going to make our own quilts (you know....since I have soooo much free time!!).
Then I came home, grabbed a shower (since the power was on!!) and drove my son to his firefighter class and then my daughter 55 minutes to her new gymnastics class! My daughter wanted to go to stay in shape and do some conditioning, but the coach wants her to be on team which would require that drive 3-4 times a week! Ugh! Shoot me now!!
I am finally home and worn slap out!! LOL
If you guys made it all the way through this long wordy post you must really like me!

I sure did! I LOVE lace & the variety was pretty good....that's the bad thing about these swaps---I always shop for my sister like I'm shopping for myself so had to get 2 of everything LOL!!!!!

I'm not feeling anymore pain but I think the crown may be off just a little. It feels weird when I chew so that makes eating awkward. I'll call tomorrow to see if they can fit me in or I'll just deal with it since I'm not hurting....my cleaning is coming up next month---we'll see how long I can hold out

I did some organizing of my dp putting it in the new paper keepers. I'm also cataloging pictures of the dp in a notebook, so now I can just look it up and see what is in each collection.

Yes, I'm just going to do a few scrapbook pages with photos and include the invitations to each event. I'm not much for journaling so there won't be a lot of that. I still need to get a cover for it. I didn't have the chance to go to the right store to get one of those over the weekend since I was sick.

Wow! What a weekend you had. Just to say that my DD does drive her DD back and forth to dance classes a few times a week and it's even worse when they are doing the rehearsals right before shows. Of course, now my DGD has her learner's permit, so I bet they try to get her in a car ASAP!

I had an appt for the dentist this afternoon, but cancelled it yesterday since I've been sick and still coughing. I'm a gagger as it is, and couldn't see me being able to get through a cleaning without gagging from all that open mouth stuff.

Did dd decide to join the gymnastics team? How long is the practice? I guess if you have to drive almost an hour each way, I would bring things to do while I waited. Books, crafts!
Yep, Athina, I did finish two pages. One page yesterday and one on Saturday. I even went through old swaps and used pre made pages and got 3 other pages done!
Ok, since three of you have read I Think I Love You, I borrowed it from Amazon last night!

Wow Maggie, and everyone thinks I'm the organization Queen! I'm impressed girl! I put my 12 by 12 dsp in hanging folders with the 'name' on the tab.
Ever since Jackie made me that awesome mini scrapbook for the Christmas secret sis, I've become intrigued with them. Have you made many of them? Do you give them as gifts with pictures in them?
I just bought a book for my Kindle. I have been reading free books, but I really wanted to read "Beautiful Creatures" so I spend 5 dollars and some change on it. I hope it's not too scary for me. If I do like it, I'll get a girlfriend to go see the movie with me.

I worked on another scrapbook page today! So now I am going to clean toilets. Then, if I do a good job, I am going to work on another page! Lolololololol
