Checking in! We were supposed to go to a Halloween party tonight, but my daughter is still not quite 100% so we decided to stay home and make our own Halloween fun! We made spider cupcakes and are going to hunker down and watch some scary movies! Here are our cupcakes:
How cute Ann Marie. I hope your DD starts feeling better. Enjoy your evening!
My T or T'ing night is one of going through all the 4 challenges on the PSC Birthday blog and doing my commenting on the cards I'm assigned to. Besides those I try to comment on the ones of people I know even if I'm not assigned to them. We have #'s for each of us so we don't have to comment on every single card. Then I have to vote on the top 3 for each one of the challenges. At work today I was doing the comparison from my blog to the PSC blog to see who posted a card in the challenge and also posted on my blog to be eligible for one of my prizes. That was a nightmare because all the names don't match up. The name they put on the card wasn't always the name that they go by on the blog.
I've got 2 sets done and just went in and took my shower for the night. Now I have 2 more sets to work on. If I get done soon, I think I'll spend some time in my stamp room.
Good Luck! That sounds like a lot of work. I know the winner will greatly appreciate it. Hopefully the last 2 go a bit quicker.
Well, I am caught up I think. I am going to color some more. I find that when I color I don't want to go to bed when it is time. I am still ready to go. DH sternly told me I need to watch TV instead of coloring. Ummm... NO, I have the free time, I am coloring. I have several images colored, they just need the finishing touches and some cards made.
I got my order from stamping scrapping today (thanks to my enabler - MAGGIE) I got some more copics, a few magnolia stamps and a Magnolia Ink magazine. So guess what I am coloring tonight?
Have a great evening. I will likely check back in before I hit the hay....
I found that earlier today. I won a top 3 on Tuesday Thowdown. Yipppeee!! I have had 6 new followers in the last week. I think it is all those challenges I have been entering.
Entering challenges does bring more people to your blog and some of them will end up becoming a follower. That's great that you have added 6 in one week.

Sorry she still isn't feeling better. Spider cupcakes and scary movies though sounds like a fun evening!
It's supposed to be 48 for high today! It is colder than the average normally is.
Maggie, during the winter what is a typical temp where you are?
Good thing winter is only 3 months! I don't think I would like Alaska or parts of Canada.
Uh....
Nancy?
Didn't you say you just moved to Illinois this year? Cause .... well I hate to break it to you, but their winter is longer than 3 months sweetie.

Our winter is 3 months here
We have been here over a year. Winter is a state of mind! When it's the middle of February, I just tell myself, one more month! Winter is 3 months no matter where you live. So there!
I don't mind the cold too much. I don't like when the snow never melts and turns black and dirty. That is depressing.
Really. They are just up in MI, so it is a short trip to OH. I would say you should have it by Friday. They usually ship same day.
Actually, I need to look at my order again, because I think something was a Pre-order that won't ship until some time in early November, so I won't get my order until that comes in.
Good morning PJ girls! Happy days. Boss is gone on vacation to Florida with the grands so it'll be a nice couple of days. He won't be back until Tuesday.
Internet is on this morning so here I am!!!!! Just wanted to wish you all a HAPPY DAY & if all continues to go well; I'll be leaving some love for you!
Trick or treating was very fun & they got a lot of candy! BBL
I just came across this project to make hand sanitizer holders. Very easy and might be a good addition to your craft show items, Carole!!! What a great gift for day care providers, teachers, nurses, and friends!
Hey everybody! We wound up skipping the scary movies last night and just watching re-runs of old sit coms! Netflix is a beautiful thing! No better medicine than laughter!
Both of my daughters have decided to do the 30 Days of Thankful scrap project with me so I printed out all of our pages tonight...soooo excited!!
Also, look at the crazy thing I found today!!! It is an actual Whitman's Sampler, but of the GIGANTIC variety!!! If I could figure out to ship it I would so get you all one for Christmas!! LOL
I am driving an hour and a half to a friend's house in the wee hours of the morning so we can then drive an hour and a half to a craft show (Carole, I wish it was yours!). It is always fun to see all of the wonderful, love filled projects! Crafter's are the coolest!!!

OMG! That is a BIG box of candy. Wonder how long that would last at my house.
Have fun with your girls as you do the 30 Days program. Sounds like a fun time for you guys.

Sounds like a fun time. Hope you find some fun things and enjoy your time with your GF.
I worked a little bit on my PIns card for next week. I got the image colored and paper picked out as well as a layout, now just need to put it together.
I have dinner plans with a GF tonight, but don't want to be out late since I need to finish up the card and I need to get my things together for the Copics class tomorrow. I'll be gone all day. I still need to put my Newsletter together. Oh I just remembered I told a girl I'd call her on Saturday about spotlighting her for November. Guess I'll call her on the dinner break since it's 2 hours or during lunch. Must remember to take her cell phone number with me.

AnnMarie, what did you see at the craft show? Anything that you want to make?
How long would it take you to eat all that chocolate?

Maggie, I received the CUTE halloween card the other day but I've been running around as usual lately and didn't get a chance to thank you. It is so cute and everyone in my family is amazed at the waterfall card! Thanks!
My sister, DD and I went to San Francisco on Wednesday for the SF Giants' victory parade. Us and about a million people! It was AWESOME! We didn't go in 2010 when they won and DD was upset about it. I usually hate crowds! But this year, we went the night before and spent the night and then walked down to a parade spot early in the a.m. We had a great spot and were surrounded by families. It was so fun!! We came home about 4:30 on Halloween night and I passed out at about 8:00. Had to come to work the next day. I'm looking forward to the weekend to actually do things...
Here's a photo of me and DD.
We have a big rivalry game tonight at our high school so that will be fun especially if we win. We've only won once in about 30 years - it's a local prival school and they recruit their players including the best from our town. Either way, it's a great time and huge social event for our town.
My mom is visiting on Saturday so hopefully we'll go thrift store shopping or yard sales. That's our favorite things. I love looking for things I can alter and she just loves looking at things

You're so welcome. Glad you like it.
Looks like you and DD had a fun time. That's great that you were able to do that for your hometown team.

Sounds like some fun times tonight and tomorrow. Enjoy having your mom visit. Will she just be here for the weekend?
