Hi ya! I have good news, they released my aunt yesterday. They did not find anything on the heart cath, just said it is an irregular heart beat. So that is positive. Thanks so much for the extra prayers!

I am off today. It is DH an my anniversary. We are going shopping to get new outfits, out to dinner and then to get some cheesecake. Yummy! I am really looking forward to spending some time with him today. He is such a wonderful man!

I will be back later to catch up on the last few days! Have a great weekend!

That's wonderful news!! Happy Anniversary and enjoy your date with hubby. Eat some cheesecake for me. I don't get it very often.

I just cleaned sticky tape residue off my scissors for the last time!! argghhh
How are you supposed to cut apart jewels or red liner tape without making a mess of your scissors????

I was so excited to see a bunch of new things up on the SU clearance rack today. My Upline put in an order so I added a few of the ribbons for 2 dollars each and they are 15 yard spools! We wanted to order some of the envelopes ($2.00 for 40) but they were all sold out already
I love having her around! She is such a great friend and we can combine two small orders to save on shipping. There were some designer papers, punches and glimmer brads too, but
not in my budget right now.
Good thing my retirement check comes in next week, which is when the order comes in

Sure can - It's by Sandra Edwards - Says it's Soul Searchers, book 1. I hope it's not a series. I hate buying the first in a series and then having to buy the rest of them. If I do want to read a series, I try to wait until all the books are out so I can read them one after the other.

I was just looking on Amazon. It looks like they've changed the title and now it's called Forgotten Soul. Same book.

You don't. I keep a box of alcohol wipes in my stamp room. Those work great to get rid of sticky residue.

I have the teflon coated Honeybee scissors from EK Success, and I don't have the sticky problem...thank goodness! That would drive me nuts! I just gave my mom a SU order, but she hasn't put it in yet. I'm going to check out the clearance!

Good morning PJ girls.

Carole, I skipped right over your post about the SU clearance rack. I better stay away from them. You know how I am about ribbon.

WTG on your presentation! Will they give you a raise???
Thanks Maggie - No raise, just my job! The project is quite political as some have very different feelings about it. But when it comes to the end, it is a huge savings and we need to focus on that. It will be good in the end. I now just need to get the uppers approvals from several groups and get some programing done before implementing.

No matter how hard I tried, it just seems impossible to go. DH can't get all the days off from work. So I thought I could go with the kids but all the flights coming back from Maui to SFO or LAX are almost full or oversold already. I felt so bad. I think she was about the cry. She can't change the time share date either.

She's all alone in CA. Most of her friends are in WA since that's where they used to live. I feel so bad. I can't even go by myself if DH can't get the time off.
What a bummer... That would be great if you could go and spend some time with her.

It wouldn't have been crazy if I didn't just give a final decision this past Saturday. I've been like a machine the past three days and will continue through Friday night. It's a small event so I'm not cranking tons of stuff and luckily I make things throughout the year so it's mainly focusing on Halloween items. DD and I are busy, busy, busy. As soon as I get a moment I'll post something on my blog - which I have been ignoring for over a month. It's hard getting back in the swng of things when you check out for a week and a half.
Oh good luck Dorlene! Take it easy and don't work too hard for the show.

Here are a couple of pics of her and her pet cat.
She is adorable and looks like such a lover. Let her roll in the grass a little. We all need to be spunky sometimes.

So, I am such a dork! (Does this come as a surprise to anyone?!) LOL I have this friend...well she is more like a past friend with whom I still behave cordially to because my mom taught me to be polite. We are past friends because of a disagreement over opinions anyhow that is a whole other Oprah show entirely! She has a step daughter who I just absolutely adore!! The step daughter is having a baby and a baby shower. The friend asked me if I could give them some ideas for invites etc. So, I offered to make the invitations for them. (DORK ALARM!!! DORK ALARM!!!) and she jumped at it. They are a really young couple and I know money is tight so I told them it would be my shower gift to her. I found out this morning that she wants 45 of them! LOL How do I get myself into these things?!

So here is the design she wants duplicated:

Pink Zebra Baby Shower Invitations and Shower Ideas

Here is what I came up with: (what do you guys think?!)
You are not a dork, you are a very sweet, kind person for making these adorable invitations. I think yours came out better than the original. Great job!

I didn't read it either. I am not a reader at all. I surf and look at magazines but that is it. It makes me sleep to read. I think I read 2 books when I was flying a lot for work, A child called it and Helter Skelter. That was it. It was before the iPod time so I didn't have much to do on the planes.

ok, I think I have caught up from being MIA. We had a great day yesterday. Just nice to spend some uninterrupted time with DH. We watched some TV, did our workouts, went shopping (I got a new pair of jeans, shoes, a new purse, wallet and a phone case). I was fighting the purse, but we went past the Vera B store and he insisted we go in. I usually get one at Thanksgiving for the church auction, so I was not looking to buy one now. But he insisted that mine was old and dirty and I needed a new one. Well ok! We at at B.D. Mongolian Grill and then got our Cheesecake to bring home. It was so good! We really had a nice time.

Today I need to run to the store, do my workout, make some heart cherry pies for sweetest day, start a roast, visit my aunt and then we are playing cards tonight. So it should be a fun filled day. I really need to get another card up on my blog, but I am guessing that will wait until tomorrow.

Everyone have a great weekend!

Sounds like you and DH had a nice anniversary!

Have fun today!

My DH and I went on a date today too. Guess where we went?
The Model T Festival in the big metropolis of Olar, South Carolina. Olar is a map dot, with one stoplight. We had fun together though! We stopped by Walmart in Barnwell on the way home. It was a smaller Walmart than ours, but they had the shotgun shells that DH needed for his hunting and I got some candy for my reindeer poop.

We had fun watching the parade and looking at all the old Model Ts. There were a couple old John Deer tractors too. We ate hamburgers and funnel cake. Talked to a couple of Amy guys and they showed us the transport vehicle they rode in the parade. They were so tickled to have us show interest. They told me that they both were in school, one getting his Bachelors and one getting his Masters. I told them I was so proud of them.

Ohhh and we saw this lady.... She was way older than me and she was wearing boots, a short skirt with a bustier top. We saw her, turned around, looked at each other and just giggled! Bless her heart, she must not realize how ridiculous she looked.

They are my favorite scissors ever! They are small and very sharp and come with a cover. I think they are about $12-$13. They are sharp enough to cut ribbon, and I use them alot for snipping tiny die cuts, etc.

It was, but with the stamping and gluing, it still took most of the time to get 50 of them put together. I had a couple ladies and 2 of the young women helping out. It was all good.

Sounds like you had a fun day yesterday and so sweet of DH to insist that you buy a new purse! Yummy cheesecake. What kind did you get?

Heart cherry pies sound cute. I guess you have shaped pie tins for them. Are you giving them to someone or are these just for you and DH. Have a fun evening.

I have a pair like that, but I don't think they have a coating on them.

BTW - I got your happy mail today. Thank you so much. It's so pretty.

I"m off to get my shower and then do some stamping work.

I also need to make a bookworm to put on the bulletin board at church. I think I'm going to cut out a bunch of circles with m Cricut and then overlap them and make them look like a worm. I printed off a head for it.
