So, I am trying to work on my time management! I sat down and made a list of all of the things I want to try to accomplish in an day and I am stoked to say that if I allow 2.4 hours for sleep in the average 24 hour day I should have nooooooo problem fitting everything in!
AM, you sure have a lot of things going on at your house. Less than two hours sleep to accomplish all your goals during the day....I feel like a lazy bum compared to you! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
I just want to start exercising again and scrap one page every day and I can't seem to do that!
I hear ya in the $$ for home improvement projects. DH always gets "ideas" and I have to keep putting my foot down and say no. After getting the the basement finished, I keep, telling him there's nothing left, LOL.
My central vacuum motor burned out. It's $275 to replace the motor. See, there is always something that comes up.
Well shut my mouth LOL!!! In a very short version....
We've been asking for the option to have online ordering that will count for our hostesses that are having parties & we finally got it! Now you just have to have someone book a party or do one yourself; get your hostess code & pass it along to whoever you want. They go online to place their orders & put your code in....easy, peasy & frikkin-AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Oh, that sounds pretty cool. Now if I just had a hostess.
Maggie - Glad you got your electric straight. I hate having work done at the house.
We had card swap tonight. Tuesdays have been horrible for me, but I'm free now so I can go again...YAY!!! I miss seeing the ladies and hearing about their projects. I had saved all the cards you guys have sent me and took them for Show and Tell. They oooh'd and aaaah'd over them like it was Christmas. I should have typed up your Blog addresses so they could visit you guys....now I think of that! I can still do it for next month.
Well, turns out that it's not quite straight after all. I went in my storage room this morning to get an envelope for the card my GF is buying from me and the lights didn't work!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrr. . . I called the guy and left him a message. I better hear from him later today when I get home because the Inspector is supposed to come on Friday and I don't want him passing this when it's not done properly.
Glad that you had a fun time at your swap. So sweet that you took the cards you received so you could show them off.
Nancy...you and Maggie are officially in charge of finding out about my ancestors!! You guys are both so great at that sort of thing. I would love to learn about it, but just have no patience for researching it!
LOL! Well in just a few months, this is actually going to be my calling (job) at church - helping people with their histories and genealogy in whatever form they want - if they want to scrapbook it or do a photo album or just do research - I'll help them. I'm excited and looking forward to it.

LOL! Right. I could get a lot accomplished if I didn't have to sleep.

Maggie, I hope your lights get straightened out! I would be pretty upset about that situation!
AM, girl you need to slow down! This is coming from someone who gets about 5 hours of sleep on weeknights but still----SLOW DOWN!!!!!
Athina, how are you doing Hun? You've been on my mind lately especially with your work stuff. I do hope it's going well.
Nancy, I took a week off of exercising due to the Curse of Eve but I'm back at it. I can't wait to get outside but not right now when it's frikkin' freazin' out there!!!!!
Hey Pam! That's awesome that your friends liked our cards! Show your Mom the new hostess thing & I'll keep my fingers crossed that she'll start getting some orders. The teachers don't order either when we have class @ the school. They're just happy to be making things & besides; until they learn more about all the *crap* they bought from a previous demo....they're not spending any extra $$ besides my class fees. We established that up front & I'm happy to see them making wish lists----maybe one day they'll actually buy something but I'm not holding my breath PS....I'm speaking of the teachers here in Yorkville
Hi Dorlene! How are you doing Hun? I hope you're having a good day.
Hey Carole! What are you up to today? Making anything fun?
Well; I'm off to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. I'll be back much later LOL!!!!
Be your own hostess & pass it along to ALL your friends....you never know who might put in an order to help you out
That would be great! I will really have to look into that. Much easiser for them to place their own order instead of having to come to me all the time.
Ok, so I am going to do a quick catch up and I hope I don't miss anything!
Pam - what sweet comments you left on your blog post. Thank you! I think your card was just darling and the inside was very sweet. It wouldn't let me leave that info on the blog. How is your brother doing?
Nancy - the crop is this weekend. I will work on my dad's book. You will likely see some pictures soon. I have the whole year to do and I need to have it done by June - YIKES! Isn't it crazy that something always comes up when you want to get something.. urggg. Good luck on the working out and scrapping - great goals! You can come this weekend if you like! In fact, you are all invited! =)
Jackie - Glad your class went well on Friday! I am sure that is exhausting getting ready and actually teaching. You are moving again?? Lots of adventure in your life huh? Congrats on your win at Loves Rubberstamps!!! I see you put in for the GDT. Laura is awesome and so sweet. Good luck! Thanks for thinking of me.
I am doing fine. Friday I left work thinking we are in a good position with the project and feeling great. Tuesday I left work thinking "what have I forgotten?". I presented to the part center that will be handling the labor of the project and they aren't always the easiest crew. It went well, but they make me so nervous. I would much rather present to my Senior Manager than them. So it has been a roller coaster and I come home beat. I am putting in a bit of overtime to make sure we get things done by next Friday. It is a large change for our dealers and they can be quite grumpy sometimes. I wake up in the middle of the night thinking "Oh no! What about xxxx". It is driving me crazy, but on the positive side, I have a great team working with me on the project. I am so very thankful for all of them.
Carole - I am sorry the calendar class didn't get more interest. Keep trying, sounds like others have given you great advise. I can only speak for what my aunt and I do, but most of the time if I show her something new I have tried, she runs out and gets the stuff soon after. Good Luck - you can do this! You are very talented and creative and I have all the confidence that you will succeed!
Maggie - you sound as busy as AM. =) The genealogy research you are doing sounds like lots of fun. I started some with my aunt several years ago, but I did not stick with it. It takes so much time and patience. I am short on both. Very cool that you will be helping others with their research! Go Maggie! How frustrating with the electric. I would cancel the inspection if they don't have it done properly.
AnnMarie - you crack me up! How do you get so much done in one day??? It is crazy.
Dorlene - how are you doing?
I have to admit that I haven't even started packing for my crop this weekend and I am the host. Whoops! I have to make a few dishes to take also. We are just doing a crockpot potluck so that it is easier. I need to get busy, but maybe Friday =-)
Could I ask a favor of you wonderful ladies? My boss had a mammogram done on Monday. She got a call shortly before lunch today that they seen something abnormal and want her to come in for more tests. I took her to lunch to get her mind off things for a bit and get away from work. But if you could just say a prayer for positive results for her, I would greatly appreciate it.
Well I am going to hop thru the shower and get lunches made for tomorrow. I will stop by before bed to say hello.
Being LDS, I can tell you that NOTHING is restricted just to LDS members. The Church is out every day doing extraction - getting names and dates off tombstones, from old records all over the world. You would be welcomed at the Family Search Center at the meeting house close to you. People there would love to help you with your search. They do have microfilm, microfische and access to lots of other records that are on films.
I did not know this!! That is very cool We have a LDS church right across from the school I used to teach at.
DD's ex boyfriend committed suicide today. They had been friends for 5-6 years before dating for 2-3 months back in the fall. Their break up was amicable, and they still talked. DD has been dating someone else for about a month. The ex bf called her twice this week and she told him the 2nd time that she didn't want to talk to him, because she has a boyfriend. She's feeling really guilty about it now. DD has some great friends and an understanding bf and will get through, but it was a big punch in the gut for her today.
Maggie, that job at your church sounds perfect for you!! I hope that electric guy gets back to you asap.
Pam, that swap sounds like such fun. I never thought of using the cards I receive as show and tell. That's a great idea!!
I talked to my Upline today and told her I'd take her up on her offer to use her studio for a class. Now, I'll just hope I can get people to come to one
Athina, prayer sent for your boss. Have fun at your crop.
Is Athina right? Is Jackie moving? How did I miss that?
I went to lunch with gf's today and had such fun. We're going to a craft show next week.

How awful Pam. I'm just so sorry, I feel so bad for his parents too. Thoughts and prayers go out to your DD.
Popping in to visit for a bit before bed! Feeling a bit grouchy tonight...hubby and I had a slight mingling of words earlier and he is not on my popular list right now. Grrrrr! After 22 years of marriage you would think he would know better than to try and pick a fight with me when I am PMSing!!!

Oh Pam! I am so sorry! My daughter's bf also committed suicide 2 years ago. They were at the end of a relationship. He got mixed up with a bad crowd and got involved with drugs. Our whole family had 'taken him in' and it was a devastating loss. He was 19. Please let me know if you need to talk. Will be thinking about you guys! Big hug!

I'm so very sorry for the family's loss and for your DD even though they were not dating now. She can take some comfort in knowing that it wasn't her fault; that he probably would have done it at some point anyway. Sad that a young life was cur short.

Hope you get all packed and have a fun time at the crop this weekend. Someday I'm going to do that.
Jackie moving?????? I didn't see her say anything about that. She just moved not that long ago.
Good luck with your presentation on your project next Friday. I know you'll be just great! And I saw your name as a Winner for 3 different challenges on Feline Playful today. WTG!
Will say prayers for your boss. Many times those things that they think they see are nothing, so here's praying that this is nothing.
Maggie, that job at your church sounds perfect for you!! I hope that electric guy gets back to you asap.

I went to lunch with gf's today and had such fun. We're going to a craft show next week.
It is, and I'm very excited about it. I just wish it was now and not a few months down the road.
Yippee for you! Glad that you're going to try having a class. Start out with just inviting a few people that you're pretty sure will come. Make it easy on yourself to start with.
Glad you had a fun lunch today and enjoy the craft show.
I weigh in tomorrow. Everyone was trying to make me eat bad foods today - my boss offering me Newman's cookies, one of the girls at lunch her homemade lasagna! I would have loved both of them.
Men! They never learn! Don't worry, pretty soon he'll be wanting something from you and you can have your way.
Athina, keeping your boss in my thoughts and prayers that they don't find anything.
I don't remember how far down in the posts, but Jackie did mention moving but I think she was talking about maybe the summer. I don't remember what she was referring to but it was a quick mention.
That would be great! I will really have to look into that. Much easiser for them to place their own order instead of having to come to me all the time.
Yes it's much easier....my gf Kathy's party is turning out very well with this new option. I'm stoked that everything we used at her class is what the attendees are buying & her online friends are checking out the cards we made on my blog and doing pretty much the same thing.
Yep; I do put my class cards on my blog but I DO NOT announce them....I like to surprise my Bourbonnais girls
