Okay so now I'm looking up recipes. Look what I found, this sounds even better!
Roasted Cauliflower
1 head of cauliflower
2-3 cloves of garlic, peeled and coarsely minced
Lemon juice from half a lemon
Olive oil
Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
Parmesan cheese
1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut cauliflower into florets and put in a single layer in an oven-proof baking dish. Toss in the garlic. Sprinkle lemon juice over cauliflower and drizzle each piece with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. If the oven hasn't reached 400°F yet, set aside until it has.
2 Place casserole in the hot oven, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is lightly brown. Test with a fork for desired doneness. Fork tines should be able to easily pierce the cauliflower. Remove from oven and sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

I got my blog post done for Pinspirational and then went in to work on my storage room. It looks tons better than it did, but I still have a way to go. I think I'm going to have to have my guy make me some more shelves. I don't know if I want it as a bookcase type or just the single shelves on brackets.
LOL! So is my GF at work. She keeps telling me she's going to come stamp with me, but she's trying to get her stamp room organized so she knows what she has. I tell her all the time to come stamp with me and she can use my stuff.
I have 3 ladies at church that I go visit every month and the other day when I was at HEB buying groceries I saw some really pretty red heart ceramic containers with lids. I think I'm going to fill each one with Hershey Kisses and give them a card I've made. I had to make 2 for DT's this week, so I just have one more to make.
I have a Gypsy and I haven't a clue how to really use it. I took an online class, but I don't think I got much out of it. I think I have to use it a lot more than I have in the past so I don't keep forgetting what to do all the time.
I use my gypsy every time I cut anything. Even if it is just a circle! I can't go back to using the Cricut without it.
LOL! Oh, I think I'd be embarrassed to tell you what I got. Let's just say for now that I was able to get quite a few of the SAB sets. I did have some help from 2 GF who placed orders although neither of them were over $50, but I placed it as one big order. Everything is still in the box. I haven't had a chance to get it out and really need to get my stamp room cleaned up and a little organized. I want to go to Michael's and get some more of those 2"hard plastic paper keepers. I think they will work much better on my shelves with my 12 x 12 SU paper than putting them in the flimsy plastic cases.
You are so sweet to be making all those Valentine goodies. I"m having a hard enough time keeping up with the DT's and birthdays (which I'm not).
What are SAB sets?
Are talking about the Iris cases? That's what I keep all my 12x12 paper in.
Good morning ladies,
Maggie - how exciting about your big box of goodies from SU! I have many items checked off in the newest catalog and hope to purchase soon to take advantage of the freebies!
Nancy - AAAWWW!!! I would of freaked out and peed too (lol didn't someone say that!?!) I hate creepy crawlers or things that fly.
When my boys were little, DS1 needed braces very badly so we went ahead with them but at the same time the dentist said that DS2 needed them as well. He was probably about 8 at the time. I didn't notice anything too bad but we didn't have the funds anyhow so we didn't go through with it. Anyhow, by the time DS2 was a teenager, his teeth (on their own) were perfectly straight. I mean, should have been a model for dentistry straight and perfect. People assume he had braces but he didn't. DH and I were so glad we didn't spend the big bucks to put them on.
Carole I'm going to try that cauliflower recipe. I'll bring it when I go back to my parents' this weekend. It sounds delicious!
Dad is hanging in there but still not good. My crazy sister is better now. It's a long story, but we're not letting her be a basket case so she's calmed down. You'd think when you're 50, you'd start acting like an adult, but she was always one to do anything to get attention (good or bad). All my sisters had it out the other day. I wish I could of been there but remember they kicked me out because of my cold. I've been getting daily updates but I am going back on Thursday night. I'm so thankful of my oldest sister. She's such a rock. My kids are there now but they are coming home today. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
We finally have heat....Oh My Goodness did it get COLD in here. We have a space heater and DH brought 2 home from work. It was tolerable in the Living Rm. but freezing everwhere else, esp. when I had to take a shower!! My stamping room was frigid, so I haven't been in there for a few days. It got down in the 20's the one night....brrr! Thank goodness the wind wasn't blowing! It's only a temporary fix. The unit is old and needs to be replaced....Oh yay! $3500-$4500 to replace.
The new job is going great. I know it's only Day 2, but so far, so good. I didn't see anyone today. I work well on my own, so it suits me just as well.
I'm going to do a little laundry and take a shower (now that the house is nice and warm), then kick back and do something relaxing before bed.
Dorlene, I hope your father starts to do better soon. I guess it is good you were sick and missed out on all the fighting. How many sisters do you have?
I hope your mom is able to rest with all that's been going on with your dad and sisters!
Pam, glad you got the heat back on. I hope that 20 degrees was outside!
I have been trying to make a card today. I don't know how you guys do it. I swear it takes me 10 times longer than a scrap page! LOL. I'll work in it some more tomorrow night. I'm busy tomorrow afternoon.
Sorry to be MIA, but I have been busy up to my eyeballs! Just not enough hours in the day anymore!
I am taking my daughters on a quick out of town trip for a couple of days. We are leaving Sunday and going to Orlando! Just the three of us! I am pretty excited!
We had a nice weekend...family dinner down the hill. We all made winter weather comfort foods! We had chili, chicken and dumplings, minestrone soup, homemade bread, cornbread and make your own chicken and cheese quesadillas! Then we had a Scrabble tournament! It was fun!
I had a dork moment! SU! sells these really cool shape cutting dies in sets called framelits. I think I threw away my cute little mug from the holiday set and it is retired so I cannot replace it. Sigh!
Carole...you are sweet! Valentine's are fun!! How's the knee?
Maggie...sounds like you have been a busy bee lately too! Yay for lots of SAB goodies!!
Nancy...a bat?! Yikes!!!
Jackie...hoping your mouth is on the mend!
Dorlene...how is your dad? How are you feeling?
Pam...so happy to hear your new job is such a good fit for you and that you have heat again!
Athina...good for you running! You really are my hero!
I still have a ton of stuff to do tonight, but I wanted to pop in and visit! Hope everyone is well!

I'm so glad you like your new job and that you have heat!! It's really important to have a boss who is easy to get along with, so it made me smile when you said he was really laid back. The last two bosses I had were vicious and one was crazy to boot!
Hey Y'all,
Here's what we are having for dinner tonight. DH had them at work the other day, and asked for the recipe. He said they were the BEST Salmon Patties he'd ever had.
Salmon Cakes
1 can salmon
1 large onion
½ cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp. Mustard
1 tsp. Ketchup
1 tabsp. Mayonnaise
1 medium bell pepper
1 medium stalk of celery
Chop onion, bell pepper and celery and brown in 1-2 tablespoons butter. Then combine with other ingredients in bowl and mix well. Form mixture into cakes and place on foil. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
This is soooo pretty! Love all the fun dress things coming out right now! The dress stamps/ framelits are #1 on my wish list!! I have seen so many cute projects with them!

Me too, but I only want the stamp and framelits bundle.
The card base pop n' cut is 40 dollars and the dress form pop n' cut is 21 that's an awful lot of money to me for just one thing - the dress form. So, until or if they come up with more things to use them with, my little retired teacher salary self is going to pass on those.
