Yeap! I have an iPad and it goes everywhere with me. Love it!
I really want to get a tablet of some sort. Have been shopping around, but haven't made a decision! Hubby has a Nexus 7 and he loves it, but I want something that takes pictures. His only has a face forward camera and not one on the backside so you can see what you are photographing.
Wow, that is a great resource. I just found two more challenges. I am going to try and enter more challenges to get more traffic.
You should see the list of challenges I'm entering for today's card. I'm still using all the ones that are Anything Goes and added a bunch for Halloween. I think that's how I've built up my followers so much. Then again, I joined The Outlawz group and you can get lots of followers there, but they don't always come visit my blog.

AnnMarie, Did I know that tablets take pictures? I thought I wanted a Kindle Fire, but DS (computer engineer) said he wouldn't get another tablet cause the screen size is weird for web sites, you know it messes up the resolution. He says just use a laptop. I think I just want a toy. hee heee

I have officially decided to take the day off today and try to catch up on all things crafty! I am going to actually create something!! *Gasp!!* and post it to my blog (if I remember how!) and clean up my blog and my other crafty things! I have been running around like a crazy person lately and have barely stepped foot into my creative space.
I am also going to clean up the first few pages of this blog. I am going to remove the names of the ladies that no longer participate. That ok with everyone?

Lol Me too!!! Toys are fun and why should the boys have all the fun! I LOVE my laptop, but tablets are so much smaller and lighter and easier to tuck into my take it with me everywhere bag!

Day 2 done! I think I just get so frustrated because I don't show any weight loss. I'm walking and working out for an hour a day. I guess I need to take better control of what I'm eating, but I really, really do not eat bad or a lot of junk food and still I don't see any improvement. I'm thinking I may have to have another talk with my doctor to see if there's a medical issue here.
Good idea! I was thinking of a secret sister swap for the holidays. We can set a limit and send some fun stuff to our sister. I would be happy to put it together if anyone is interested.
Would be fun depending on when we would do the big reveal. I'll be out of town Christmas week.
Maggie - I actually got to go into my room tonight and make a birthday card for a lady at work. So I can enter the first challenge!!! One down, let's see how many more I can complete!
AM, remember that she has the advantage. She knows what he looks like, now she'll know his name and I bet his address will be part of the court record. Plus she has called the police once so he knows she will do it again.
Hopefully that is enough for him to steer clear of her!

There you guys go again with all the chatter LOL! I'm finally able to claim the pc for a minute after DD finished her power point presentation & then DS had to do an outline for Communications class. I tell ya....we totally need 2 pc's or I need a laptop

I love my Kindle Fire. The only thing it doesn't do is take pictures, but the new Kindle tablet does I believe. I don't have a problem with the screen size, and I can get on all my websites with it and check my e-mail. I won't get the tablet because I have a laptop. The other thing I like about the Fire is that it fits in my purse so no problem taking it with me and it is easy to read on it. I already have a ton of books on it.

Sounds great to me. I am desperately trying to get better organized so I can participate in all the fun challenges besides the ones I need to do for DT's. This week has been crazy, but I'll have the weekend and hopefully be able to get some kind of calendar organization in place.

You can totally do it!! Maybe a planner with the the challenges listed by due date or a spreadsheet or one of those giant desk calenders?! LOL Hmmm...maybe one of our challenges could be to create some sort of organizational tool for ourselves for all of our crafting obligations?!

Do you keep a food journal? Maybe it isn't what you are eating, but how much or even when. Maybe try tracking your calories for a while to get a better idea of exactly what you are consuming. It is a total PITA, but when I did it for a while it was an eye opener! Some things (even the good for us stuff) pack a punch with high calories and we wind up consuming way more than we think we are. There are some good phone apps that can help you track too! It is all about calories in VS calories burned. Keep up with your exercise (Great job on that btw!) and hopefully it will start to pay off soon!

I don't car one way or the other if we continue the monthly challenges. I think getting something in the mail is more fun though!

I do have a kindle now. Someone gave DD their old kindle because they got a new one. She kept telling them she has a nook. It they insisted on giving it to her. So now I have it and I borrow books for free from Amazon!
Since you are just starting out and learning you might want inexpensive paper to start out with. The Hammermill (I think or it could be a diff brand) of 80lb paper you get at the office supply store works fine.
You don't want to use ink pads that are made with alcohol ink since copies are alcohol inks they will bleed or mix with the stamp ink. Don't use Staz-On ink pads either. The Memento Tuxedo Black is the one everyone agrees is the best with copies.
I would think a laser jet printer would work fine with copics. It uses toner not ink and is heat set in the printer. Not sure about inkjet printers. Just need to try it and see. Maybe heat set it first.

I have a Kindle app on my phone and have been doing all of my reading on there! Tiny little print!! LOL I have been reading A LOT lately! Forgotten how much I really enjoy it!
