paperwork....we need! Just bringing over the important stuff so it is with us.
Please remember that participation is key to being in this group. NON participation will mean being removed from the group list.
By participation I mean the following:
1. Post to your own blog regularly.
(If you cannot for some reason....please pop in here and tell us all so we don't delete you!!!!.....Sometimes we are away on holiday, or have sick people in the house etc...Just let us know!)
2. Leave comments on each of your fellow blogger's blogs regularly also.
(We ALL love to hear if you like what we have made...and vice versa. If there are only the dozen of us, then I feel regularly to mean much more than once a week...I am sure we can do better than that with each other!)
3. NO CLIPART AKA NO DIGITAL thanks.
If you have a hankering to go down that path, please remove yourself from this group.
4. Please pop in to this forum and keep in touch.
It is the best way to get to know your fellow bloggers and we can also set up some challenges and swaps etc....Here will be the place to find out...or rather the new thread as soon as we decide on a name.
Just one more thing...We all come from many varying backgrounds and have lots of different beliefs. Where I think diversity in beliefs is great, could we bear in mind that not all of us are either religious or have different beliefs? (I really mean in here....your own blog, of course, is totally up to you. ) Did I say that OK?
Ok ...I am outta here...to town I go for the glasses...have updated on everyon'e blog...and I have to say 14 is a joy to go through...doesn't take me forever!
I have even updated my own blog....will check back in after the party...
I've updated the link name on my blog and posted a couple things I did today. Have to say that I'm not loving what I'm doing so far. I'm hoping with practice, I'll get better. Please give any tips and advice you have for me!!
WOOHOO!!! Here we are! I added a new post for today and will have another one tomorrow too - too dark to take a decent pic right now. That will be 4 for 4 in July - go me!!!
I'll be out most of tomorrow (getting together with some girlfriends for some scrapbooking/cardmaking), so will likely check in on Sunday with lots of stuff to share!
Michelle - I'm not sure which Charlottes Web quote was on my blog when you stopped by.... the quotes change everytime you click the link. They are from my favorites that I've marked at goodreads.com and I've marked A LOT of favorties!!
Thank you all for your kind comments - I appreciate them so much. I just actually posted something I like finally.
OK another newbie question if I'm not pushing my luck here..... how do you add the text in your comments that say you appreciate them? I've seen a few of you have that when I go to comment and I thought it was a really nice touch.

Good question Kirstin, I would like to know that myself!
Evening ladies (,ink! :-))... I am so tired! We celebrated our 4th on the 3rd! College reunion in the TX 100+ degree heat (during the day, b/c yes, we are crazy)... haven't seen any of them since I married 12 years ago, some longer ago than that. Then, drove back closer to home (the reunion was about an hour and a half away), to watch fireworks, and then the half hour drive home.
had to check in with you girls before dropping dead into bed!! :-)

This one is easy -
I hope everyone uses blogger because that is the only way I know how to do this
log into dashboard
go to the SETTING tab
the go to COMMENTS
scroll down the page - you will see a box that says COMMENT FORM MESSAGE
add whatever you want to say there - then scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click SAVE SETTINGS.
Michelle, I used your wood instructions to make a card, which I have to finish. Love the look, the directions were super easy, and it was so much fun! Thanks for posting them!
Uh-oh! LOL - that could be trouble. There are only a few things I know how to do, so go easy on me!
LOL - so far you've known everything I asked!! I have another one though... how do you get the photos to display in the body of the blog rather than stuck at the top??? I'm laughing as I type this because I am SO needy!!

*sigh of relief* that's an easy one!
Drag them to where you want.
what I do is type my blog in Word. I hate typos but I'm really good at making them, then I cut and paste into blogger and drag my photo where I want.
i also use Picassa for photo editing and I can just hit my "blog this" button when I have the photo up in Picassa - and I don't have to do the whole 'insert photo' unless I am putting in more than one photo.

I also use Picassa... do you know you can add multiple photos just by clicking the HOLD button in the tray and then when you click "Blog this" all those photos will go to one post!!

Kristin :-)
I'm going to have to try that then as I'm having "issues" with dragging. I know it is operator error and I refuse to let Blogger beat me!!
I figured it out!! I published to my blog via Picassa and moved it all where I wanted it. Then I saved it as a draft and finished up so I could move the text to the left instead of centering it all. You guys are so kind and helpful! Thanks!!

OOOOhhhh...How lovely someone has tried it...Would love to see what you do with it Michelle!

Just home....drove the last 3/4 of an hour near dark...not an optimum time if you want to keep your car kangaroo dent free!
Only saw a couple (of roos) so all is well.....I was planning to post tonight on my blog....but alas I am totally exhausted....partied into the early morning last night.....my poor old body can't hack that too well....
Thanks Michelle! No, not the baby. I just turned 40 in May and Chris will be 43 in August. This is actually my second (and LAST) marriage but will be the first for Chris.
My first was in my 20's and I rushed into it which was a mistake. I won't tell you horror stories but will say it was a very unhealthy relationship. I'm very blessed to have met Chris and am very thankful to have him in my life.

I might just blob out in front of the telly!
now that IS a plan.
I think it is so wonderful to say you can see kangaroos in the wild!! I'm fascinated with them!
I've never been to Australia but Chris has been a few times for work and said it was one of his favorite places. I hope to be able to go someday!!
