Morning ladies, I've been in a frumpy mood, it's that girly time and the weather is gloomy, rainy and chilly. I want it to somewhat warm again and the sun to shine.
Molly and Jennipher I hope you are able to get some crafting time in soon. It's so good for us to be able to do something relaxing and rewarding.
Sarah, I am looking forward to seeing your closet renovations! What exactly are you having done to it? My love and I were just talking last night about redoing the upstairs with hard wood next year. We did our downstairs last year and I was looking at a video I had taken with the carpet and still can't believe how small our living room looked with carpet.

It's another migraine day I am afraid. I think it's due to our weather changes. It was 92* on Friday and now it's only going to be 66* for a high- and feels kind of like it may drizzle. Yuck.
Anyway, I got a blog post up. No stamping, because my hands still aren't *there* yet. But I think it's a fun post anyway- about my closet remodel. And thanks for the woderful comments, Cassandra!

We've had crazy weather here too. I will be glad when it makes up its mind what it wants to do. I'd really like it to stay sunny with a cool breeze and highs around 75. hahahah!
I loved your post and am looking forward to seeing the finished look. Have fun with it too! It's exciting to get rid of things, to me anyway. My friend before she moved would always have me come over when she wanted to get rid of things because it was hard for her to do and she knew I wouldn't let her keep anything. I'd say, do you really need that and she'd say, yes I do. I'd say girrrl when is the last time you used this? Three years ago. Three years ago, you don't need it! In the trash it would go. She'd laugh and say what if I do? Then God will provide you with one or figure out another way for you to do this or that. It's true!

I got my blog post done. It's all about my closet remodel. I didn't like having that mess of "before" shots up there as my latest post (sort of embarrassing, lol!). So, I got the "after" shots posted earlier this evening. Much better
Next, I will post another card that my friend Maureen made, and my easy rendition of it. Again I'm gettin' by with a little help from my friend
I'll go to therapy twice this coming week. Hopefully I will get better enough soon to get back to creating again. I am really, really missing my stamping time! But I don't want to push it by making cards too soon for fear of hurting my hands worse. So, until then I am just going to do very simple cards and things.
I need to figure out what I am going to make for Easter goodies. Maybe something simple using a Sizzix die. That way I can have my DD help die cut them. Anyone have any good ideas for little treat containers? I have the Baskets & Blooms SU! Sizzix die. I also have the XL Sizzix die that makes a little bag with handles and flap that I have never used. I am thinking one of these might be a good thing to use.

Hi ladies, how's everyone doing? I hope you all had a good weekend! The weather was great but today it's back to gray and rainy! Heavy sigh, I keep praying my veggies will make it. I've lost my cucumbers already and my squash is barely holding on. When I put them in I figured all would be ok, then it got chilly, then three days of rain, warm weather and now more rain! Oh well, continue to trust I will get something out of it.
Sarah, I left you a comment on your closet. I LOVE it!!! It's so ritzy and I love the jeans folded on the shelves, the side pole is great for putting an outfit together and I especially love how all the clothes flow so nicely and not all bunched up. Looks fabulous!
What are you going to put in the baskets for the space at the bottom?

Hey ladies - sorry to be MIA - been dealing with a small termite issue and getting my creativeness back - should be back this week though!
Uugghh... termites! We had to deal with them a few months ago. I don't know how it is where you live, but in Southern CA you just have to figure about every 10 years you have to have your house fumigated. Basically, you have to move out for 3 days while they tent the house and set off a bomb inside it. It's a real pain to have to do, but otherwise the damage can be immense if you don't take care of it. We ended up having to have our entire baster bedroom balcony ripped off and rebuilt. Then we found that the french doors had to be replaced as well. Fun times!
Molly, you said it was a "small" termite issue... how did you get it resolved?
In any event I am glad its behind you. Hopefully you'll be able to get back in the swing of things and blogging again soon!

I had a wonderful but busy weekend & I did learn a few new things! It's always great to be with fun & crazy stampers having a good time....makes me feel so normal I can't wait to try out the techniques I learned but first I'll be showing some of the goodies I received last Saturday next week.
I'm scheduled for oral surgery on Monday so I figured next week will be perfect for my pre-posts since I know I'll be out of it Keep me in your thoughts & prayers please.....

I meant to do a blog post last night but was too tired. Hopefully I'll have a chance tonight.
I have a busy day ahead- lots of errands. I need to get new prescription sunglasses made. I got my regular glasses done, but couldn't find any sunglass frames I liked there. So, I went to Nordstroms Rack and found 2 pairs of AWESOME sunglasses. Now, I am going to take them to my optical place and hope they can use those. I bought 2 pairs because sometimes certain frames can't be done. This way if they can't use my #1 choice, hopefully the 2nd pair would work. I'll return the others.
I also need to do some clothes shopping.
Tomorrow we'll celebrate my birthday (which is Monday). This way we can all get together. It can be hard getting all the kids together during the week.
Okay- gotta take the dog out, then jump n the shower. I slept in a little later than I had planned.

Are any of you doing any vegetable gardening this year? I started one a couple weeks ago but the weather and rain, I think the veggies aren't sure what to do. I lost my one cucumber and squash plant. I was looking forward to those the most. Oh well!

I can honestly say that the surgery went extremely well but I do have lingering pain. The pain meds are pretty strong so I'm out of it most of the time. I also saw that I did something wrong or Blogger just decided to not post my pre-posts that I typed up. I'm not going to worry about it....I'll just continue to get my rest. I hope everyone has had a good week.
