Today is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! 50* this morning when I took lil man to school -his sisters are off but he has school - no fair! But oh it's so yummy! Tomorrow we will be running around Coconut Grove (that's ALWAYS on the news in Miami, lol) so I'm praying the weather stays this nice!

Off to craft .. today starts my Bug GDT and I'm so motivated to head to my Cabana!
Hola, friends. I'm soooooooooooooooooo glad it's Friday! It's been an utterly exhausting week. I'm going to put my feet up and relax ALL weekend .. and not feel bad about it. I will probably spend some time in my "craft room" (unfinished basement) tomorrow and, of course, I will be going to Church on Sunday. I'm on the Worship Team this weekend so I'm looking forward to that.
What is everyone else plans for the weekend?

Back from my business trip last night, but was way too tired to even get online. Thank you everyone for being so kind and caring and FORGIVING!!! I promise to do better and not be late for our future postings! (Really, I hate being late in the rest of my life, it really bugs me)
I'm going off line in just a few minutes to create my card. Once it's posted today I will treat myself to visiting your blogs and admiring your work.
Thank you again for being so wonderful to me! Each of you are so special.

Hello--it is Saturday afternoon and I had a great time at stamp camp this morning--made five cute cards, got a sweet little attendee gift (a bonnett made from spring colors and the round plastic embellishment holder from SU that held various embellishments we used on some of the cards--too darn cute!) got a couple of items from the huge rummage sale they have and we saw lots of samples with the newer stamp sets. I did not win a door prize nor a raffle prize................... maybe next time in April--
We went to watch one club volleyball game and roomie went back for the second. I will go to the third after supper. Her two nephews have sons that are playing in the tournament so their families came last night and are also staying over tonight. I am not sure when they play tomorrow--however I will be parked in front of the TV all afternoon/evening watch the Super Bowl pre-game and then the game itself. I love the commercials--but the game is good too. I really do not have a favorite team in it this year--just hoping for a good game.
Have a great rest of the day Saturday and a wonderful start to Sunday!
Morning my COF Friends!
My card is done and finally up on my blog. Thanks again for your understanding.
However, now I must dash to get ready for church and bell choir practice. I will visit each of your blogs and drool, ummm, I mean leave love (hahaha) later today after church.
Barb, sounds like you have a fun afternoon & evening lined up. We have some friends coming over for the first half of the game, then going home during half time (we're supposed to get a bit of snow so driving conditions need to be watched). Like you, we're hoping for a good game and some fun commercials. Although I have NO INTEREST in seeing any more of the Go Daddy commercial. Ewwwwww.
Sharon, sounds like you need some relaxing! Our weekend thus far has been positively bonkers but it started on Friday, lol! It's been a lot of running around and so much to be done in a short time but I'm blessed we are all able to do it! Battling some colds, but onward!
I'm probably the only one on the planet who will not be watching the Superbowl but wish you all a fun-filled day with friends and good food!

Darlene--we too are to get more snow tonight. I has been snowing lightly all morning and then I think 3 to 4 more inches tonight. Rebecca went to the volleyball games this morning--but I stayed home. I think I am on the edge of getting a cold--so I am staying in and sipping ginger tea with honey and lemon--so good!
I have to take my little guy to the dentist this afternoon, make two store returns, and pick up my dog's arthritis medicine. Looks like a typical Monday!
I am singing the Lord's praises today... Phil predicted an early spring! I could kiss that groundhog! Actually, my dog is predicting and early spring, as she's been shedding her winter coat all over the house this week. Lots of brushing, lots of daily vacuuming.

Good Morning Ladies--Happy Monday Morning. I am going to swap out the Colorful Swap Cards today and might make it to the post office too. We did get a couple of inches of snow overnight and they say the roads are a bit slick today. It sure is pretty out--I love all of the fluffy white stuff blowing around!
Aw, bless your hearts - those of you in the cold and snow. Do be careful!
Ladies, I won't be around for awhile. I'm sorry! Just keep chatting amongst yourselves if it so suits you I will do my best to have my card up by the end of the month (have DT requirements I can't get out of) - and the theme is up on the front page (#3)
My dh came home last night to tell me his boss offered him a job in Pittsburgh. aaack! So conflicted! On the one hand, I'm ready to move on to a new town, as I don't have many attachments keeping me here. But on the other hand, I have two sons going to college here in Indiana, one will graduate in May, and I'm nervous about how this will affect all the boys. Lots of pros and cons to consider. We're going to talk with our realtor to get an idea of market value for our home.
In the meantime, I'm spending the day in prayer and fasting, hoping for some wisdom and discernment.

I'll join my prayers with yours, Mary Rose... that God will direct your path! HUGE hugs!!
I will tell you my DD went to college over 600 miles from home (her choice; we didn't move) and I found that it helped her to mature and take on adulthood with grace because she had to take on responsibilities that she might not have done, if she'd lived closer to home. She is a DELIGHTFUL young lady!
Mary Rose, I will keep you in my prayers as well. Changes are not always easy, but God will give you a sense of peace about where you need to be. Jeanette, thank you for congratulating me on the recognition I received over on 'ODBD. I have loved that company since it started because it was bold enough to share scripture and inspirational art in their images. I love their challenges but don't always get to take part in them every week, but every chance I get I do. You are sweet to have mentioned it here.

Hello--just a quick post. I am one of the BRAK Coordinators and we are very much in need of some new BRAK Volunteers to join us. We are in the middle of our Spring Cleaning and have already lost more than 20 members and there are another 15 or so who have not responded to our PM's--so we may be taking them off of our list.
We want to still have enough BRAK Volunteers to be able to have each RAK member who is active get 3 birthday cards. In order to assign each RAK member to 3 of our volunteers--we need to add some new members. So--could that be you? You do need to be RAK member to join the BRAK Volunteers. If you are already a RAK member--please PM me and we will get you all set. If you are not a RAK member--please click on join a group on the left side of this page and follow the directions for approval. When you are in as a RAK member--then PM me.
As a BRAK Volunteer, you decide how many birthday cards you want to send each month--usually between 4-7 cards--though some do less and some do more. You also decide if you want to send cards out of your country or stay within--again your choice. As a volunteer, you would get a PM around the 20th of each month directing you to the forum where the RAK birthdays are listed with their addresses along with the assigned names for you. You then send out the birthday cards as needed. A tip--I write out my cards when the list comes out and put the date of the birthday in the right upper corner of the envie--where the stamp goes. I have the stack of cards ready to go throughout the month--slap on the stamp--and away they go.
Anyway--so much for a quick post.............................. BUT--we really need some new members so I am checking in with my friends in the swap and blog threads I am a part of to see if there are some ladies you might want to join us. PM me if you have any questions or if you are already a RAK member and want to sign up as a BRAK Volunteer.
Thanks so much for reading this long post....................... Hugs!

Good Morning--Happy Thursday!
Thanks for reading my post yesterday about needing some new BRAK volunteers--we added 4 new members since I posted this yesterday--YAY! Openings still available--- Please PM me if you have any questions or want to join. Thanks so much!!!!
Thank you for all of your kind thoughts and prayers! It looks like we're accepting the job offer and moving to Pittsburgh this spring. eeeek! Anyone know the area? I'd love some suggestions!
We met with our realtor yesterday, and we're planning on putting the house on the market near spring break so that we can move when our little guy is done with school at Memorial Day. It feels as though a lot of things are happening quickly! But it also feels as though God has a hand in all of them. This will be our third move in seven years. But truly, God has blessed us in unique ways with each move. We're excited for this new adventure.
I'm off to the craft room to see what inspires me this morning!
