Hello Carolina! Also glad to "team" up with you again. You ladies are all super! I promise I will update my blog soon to add everyone - too busy packing and getting on the road early in the morning. God bless you all!
Two competitors for my time today: making cards and housework. It's a love-hate competition. Currently I'm trying to guilt myself into doing the housework. Trouble is, I can actually HEAR my stamps calling to me, claiming that they are feeling neglected. Seriously, if you were here you could hear it also! Quite the dilemma.

We are home from the Packer game--watched a great game with a win! We had a good time with friends and had some good food too-interesting appetizers and desserts. There was also a shooting 15 miles from our house--a guy went into a salon and shot his ex? wife (she had a restraining order against him filed a month ago) along with 6 others--they have said three are dead and then he shot himself. Not sure at this time if one of the dead was his wife. So sad..........

Good Morning--hope your Monday is starting out well...................
I am headed out to run a few errands--getting some grass seed to toss on the lawn to fill in some dead spots and also scatter over the entire lawn to fill in. We also got 6 packages of tulips yesterday and I hope to plant those this morning too. We are to get rain this afternoon, so I hope to get both done so it gets a good soaking.
I plan to do some stamping this afternoon.
And--I posted a new swap last night. Please check out the color combos in my siggy!

I feel the same way Carol! We enjoy making things together & she's made me some lovely cards as well as given her input on certain designs. I know she'll make something pretty with the bling Kelly sent me

Good Morning ladies--off to Coffee, Cards and Biscotti this morning at my demos house--fun times. I'll be stamping this afternoon--another rainy day here.
Good morning, faith-filled friends!! I have missed you! A super busy weekend and finally a moment free today - catching up on my hurricane house and mommy time! (for the 2 hours I'll be home, rofl!)
If I may ask for a small prayer request: My daughters, Victoria and Chrissy, are attending the final leg of auditions for All-State Vocal Chorus today (made it through the first 2 grueling rounds of music theory and sight reading) Unfortunately, Chrissy has the flu She spiked a fever after the marathon on Sunday (it must have been low-lying and brewing) and came home from school yesterday. She has no voice, and sadly, today's part of the audition is the singing part! I prayed with her this morning and I know she left with a happy heart, knowing it will be whatever it will be - have faith and let Him be in control. Thank you!
So for today's verse, I channeled her and read this one in the scriptures to share:
The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:2

Oh, Kelly, so sorry to hear your Chrissy is sick... and on such an important day, too. She's worked so hard leading up to this audition. I'm praying God will give her what she needs to do well today, too!
Ladies, I made it to all the blogs today. You have inspired me with your creativity!

Thank you muchly! I went to her school to give her a hug, a high five and some meds, lol!
Good evening ladies!!!. It was a busy weekend for us as well. Kelly I'll pray for your DD to get better. It breaks my heart to know that she worked so hard and at the end this turn out this way... but there is a reason for everything right??? even though we sometimes don't understand or don't accept it, but I can see that she is a very faithfull child of God... all the best!!!
SHARONNNN!!!. Thank you so much for your award and for thinking of me and for your lovely words!!!. I'll update my blog tomorrow at some point. Again, Wednesdays are crazy for my but I'll try to do my best!!!
Ladies, I hope you all have a very blessed evening!!!
Kelly--hope all went well yesterday for your girls. Please post how it went!
Good morning, everyone! What a blessing of a day, I'm telling you - living here in sweltering Miami, we don't get "nice" weather too often and the breeze is just gorgeous here! Too nice to be indoors!!! I'm heading out to a Mom's lunch in a bit - called up some of my girlies on Monday and we're all super excited to meet up and catch up!
The girls did okay! One of them said it was easy breazy but she's in the middle school level which isn't so competitive. My dd15 - the one who wants to be on stage and sing as a JOB, lol - did just okay. She didn't have much voice, according to her and her chosen song (which you cannot change once selected x2 months ago) was this huge Italian aria. Eeeeek! My friend was listening around the corner and said she heard her hit the notes on cue and somehow got her voice out and sang like a nightingale, so I'm not sure if Chrissy is just being hard on herself or my friend is being kind But half way through the song, the music just stopped cold. Someone walking through the room and her foot pulled the plug out of the wall!! She was so apologetic but what a way to ruin a moment And the judge told her to start over rather than just take it for what it was up to that point. It's anyone's guess! I reminded her that her sister audition for High School with a raging flu and the director stopped her and asked if she was sick. This judge did, too, and she told her she could tell ........... competition is fierce and it was just bad timing. I told her not to worry about it and let things happen as they were meant too!
I hope you ladies have a lovely afternoon! I'll be back later this evening - have to get dolled up and out of my workout clothes
Hi all...just popping in to "see" you and let you know I haven't completely disappeared...My dd's wedding is in 2+ weeks and hope to become more regular after we get through the wedding and all the prep...
Kelly I do so hope your DD's judges chose wisely as Jeanette said...how sorry I am to hear she got so sick at the time of auditions...bless her heart for going and singing her heart out...crossing my fingers and praying too...
Wavin' to all
Hugs...

Mike was a 'professional' mover for a bit... Worked for United. Needless to say, he is usually asked to help by our friends. We volunteered to help this women...she lost her DH last year and sold her house (then) much quicker than expected and moved into a not-exceptional apt. Her new place is brand new, she is the first to live there, and is in a MUCH better neighborhood. We picked up the truck at 4 and we returned it at 9 ~ only had the big (and heavy) stuff to move! Her son was there too, with his family! We used to garden at her house....
Please have your cards posted to launch around 6 am (give or take!) but no need to link up to anyone before or after you - just post it like any other days' cards
Have fun with the thankful theme hostess Sharon has given us!
