7 more to go...I'm neck and neck with Patty!! I'll get there, but hard to say when.
I finished my 100th card today, but my 100th day isn't until Thursday so I'm planning on posting 2 more cards today, 2 tomorrow, and 2 on Thursday. Feels good to be done

Congrats! It's quite an achievement It does feel good to be done, it was beginning to turn in to a chore, but the OCD in me couldn't give in when I was so close to the finishing line.
Congrats to all who are finishing or have just finished. Well done! I would never have been able to even attempt this hobby (????) when I had young children, and was working. Now that I am retired I can be at my craft table almost full time!

It isn't easy stampin with my 3 kids, but I try to find time when my kids are sleeping or during nap time. My youngest just started play school so that 2 1/2 hours are all mine

Thanks! I was thinking of trying it again and starting a blog group, but I havent decided yet.
After this weekend, I hope I can say I'm done too. Then I'm thinking of joining Mindy in FUFO aka Project Procrastination. I have some of those. Plus, I joined a local stamping group for an AB Tip-in RR which will start in Jan and go all next year. Also, I joined a couple swaps here on SCS, so I definitely need to give them attention. Have y'all heard about Stacy Julian's HappyMail campaign/personal challenge? She wants to mail a card a day! I admit I'm intrigued! Of course, that means I'd have to keep on making cards because I'd run out in a couple months. LOL
I'm sorry to say that I won't be able to finish my challenge by this weekend. Life got in the way. I had to have emergency surgery on Sunday so I am now recuperating and unable to get them done. I appreciate all of the friends I made while working on this challenge and wish the best to those of you still struggling to finish.
rswanger, hey honey - you take care of yourself and when able we know you be back at those cards. I and others will be here for you. Godspeed your recovery, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm glad to hear that you're getting better, rswanger! You can always finish your cards later, if you want. You were really close to finishing anyway. Do you have any prestamped images that you could maybe color? I think coloring is soothing, so hopefully that would help in your restoration to good health!
Craftykarla ans tishahendricks thanks so much for cheering me up! I guess I can always finish the last 18 cards later. Tishahendricks thanks so much for your coloring suggestion. I usually never prestamp images but the day before I had surgery I stamped some Halloween images that I had forgotten about. I find coloring soothing also so I plan to add this to the recovery process now. Thanks again, Rita

Reason: Added my name n thanks
Coloring is always a good way to stamp without stamping. Coloring in images is what drew me to stamping many years ago. I can't draw worth beans, but I can color, so I it's my favorite part of stamping. Although, no one warned me that you'd need more than colored pencils, LOL!!!!
I was 2 weeks late in finishing my 100in100, but I'm happy to finally announce that I made 100 cards in 114 days! Doesn't have quite the same ring to it, but oh well!

The important thing is that you finished your goal! Way to go

I'm praying for you to have a speedy recovery! Perhaps you can finish your challenge once your recover. Coloring some images ahead of time is a great idea and that will give you a head start once you are ready to make some cards again. You can always make some 'One Sheet Wonder' cards and that will help you catch up.
I am just now reading up on this 100 cards in 100 days challenge and I want to do it! I NEED to do it. I just keep buying and buying. When I get back from our trip in a couple of weeks I am starting this challenge. Thanks so much for the idea

Anyone starting at card #1? I'm thinking of starting this challenge, although I'm not sure if I should with the holidays right around the corner, but on the other hand challenging myself to use my existing supplies to make my Christmas cards might be fun...
wow you guys are awesome!! i haven't been online in a long time... being back in college has taken up a lot more time out of my life than i expected.
i finish my classes the first week of december and this is DEFINITELY something i want to try to do!! i will keep checking in to see if you guys do another round of this later, i would love to join in!!!
Well, my 100th card snuck in quietly. I had scheduled a post before we went on vacation, but thought I'd get that 100th card prior to leaving. Since I didn't, the last post wasn't even marked. LOL.
So, just like that, I'm done!!
Feels good....kinda anti-climatic at this point. But thanks for a great challenge!!
Congratulations, Heather, on finishing the challenge!!
Inkyminky184, if you're making cards anyway, go ahead and start on the challenge! It really motivated me to get a lot of cards made ahead of time of when I needed them. I think all of us found out that we had plenty of supplies to make 100+ cards. The only thing I bought was ATG refills, and that was only because I didn't want to use the other adhesives (tacky glue and gluesticks) I already had.
Kel, I can't start this challenge again until probably March because I'm bogged down right now at work and at home. I hope you'll take on this challenge too!
I joined a couple swaps here on SCS, so I'm still checking in once in a while. I'll check in again to see if anyone is going to start doing this challenge.
i will definitely take on this challenge! probably not until after january though, because we are taking a trip mid-january and i have a feeling that i will need every single one of those 100 days to complete this... and i have boxes of unfinished projects to prove it!!!!!!!
okay i take it back. corebear - if you're gonna start jan 1 then i'm in. motivation helps me too!!! i'll just have to get ahead before i leave for my trip.
January...I maybe able to do that. Could help with the post holiday blues and those dark January evenings. It was a fun challenge and helped get rid of some supplies.

Don't worry about your schedules and just go for it!! Nobody's scoring you, it's just for fun!
I had a four month old when I started this challenge. I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up to one card a day, but the point was it provided incentive to me to keep going and to make time to craft.
At 100 days, I celebrated what I DID accomplish, and then kept going to get my 100 cards completed.
January 1st sounds like a great date to pick. Just go with it and see what happens!!
I think I will start my 100 card challenge beginning January 1st - anyone else going to commit to this challenge?
I'll join you January 1....with my goal being 100 cards for OWH in 50 days....-----I know that isn't what the rest of you are saying but it will motivate me to do better about sending them cards.....also I will include using a different SCS sketch for each one....I have made at least one card from each of the first 98 sketches....I want to make at least one from each sketch and they are in the 400's now so I will have lots of options for my 100 cards in 50 days.

This sounds like it would be so much fun. I am all in. I need to start Jan. 1 because Lord knows I am not organized enough to start any earlier then that. Looking forward to working through my stash.
I will start with you ladies in the new year!
I was a demo for about 7 years, then I remarried and had 3 boys in 4 years! Moved a couple times and my husband works a LOT so I'm kinda a single mom lifestyle..craaaazy! I still have all my crafting and stamping stuff of course! We just moved into our own house (super awesome-we reno'd an older home, so much charm!) and it's a DISASTER area...so maybe having this January 1 date will help me unpack and re-organize my crafting stuff in the supposedly designated space it has here.
Looking forward to it, girls! Goodness knows I need the "me" time too and the kick in the pants to get my stuff out and do something fun again
Holly
I'm making a list--and definately checking it twice...
of tasks to do before January 1 and the start of this challenge..
Reink pads.
Clean off work top
figure out a system for which stamps/topics to do (sorry--I taught school for 41 years and need a "lesson plan" if I plan to accomplish anything
precut some bases from those sheets of retired CS that I never have enough of to make a set of swap cards
new battery for the digital craft camera
and study the card sketches so I can match stamp sets to layout]
OK,,,,I'm ready.
