I already have one thread in ISO. I have purchased the 2 sets I originally asked about but have others I am interested in now. I've posted addl sets in that thread because I don't think I can do a new thread in that category. Correct? Just feel like my other requests are not visible now unless someone reads all the posts. I do bump to put the thread out there so that helps some. I regularly do a search for the sets I want to buy but wondered about being able to change or do a new thread in ISO?

Hi dbs!
You're correct in that we can have only one ISO thread at a time. In your situation, how about choosing one of the following two options:
  • Edit your title to reflect the current offerings. You can do so by selecting 'Edit' >> then "Advanced" Edit. This area allows us to change our titles.
  • Edit your title to read "Please Delete", and also edit your text in the first post to reflect Delete, so as not to confuse readers. Then stsart a new thread.
Either of these two options will be fine. Please send me a PM if you need further assitance. Best of luck in your quest!

I have some craft items to sell and wanted to know if I can include an HP ink cartridge (tri-color) in my list? I know it is not craft related directly, but some people could use it for crafting?

Let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for asking! Actually, printers, ink carts, etc. are not what we consider to be crafting items here in our Buy/Sell/Trade forums. But we do appreciate the query first! Very helpful information is right here in the BST Guidelines.
Best wishes on your BST.

Hi Jodi,
That answer would be governed by your demo agreement with SU.

My buy/sell listing has disappeared. I am not sure what happened. I posted it yesterday they are all old sets that have been retired for a while. I am not sure what happened when I clicked the link in my signature it says I don't have the authority to view or change it. Can someone tell me what happened?

If you have anything current on your list it will be deleted!! This happened to me over the weekend...I mistakenly had 3 items on my long list and they deleted it. They dont even give you a chance to edit the list....it's just gone!!!

as far as I know all of my items have been retired for a long time. I had listed them all in the fall and I was relisting the items that did not sell

Yes, that's right. Our Buy/Sell/Trade Guidelines offer a lot of valuable tools toward successful posting within the SCS Buy/Sell/Trade forums. Please check them out for a successful B/S/T experience.

Thanks. It disappeared out of my subscriptions and my link did not work. Maybe I was just having computer glitches that day.
Thanks for finding it.

I had a thread that got deleted awhile back because I had current SU merchandise on it. I didn't realize that was not allowed even if I am NOT a demo. Anyway, now that the new color families are out and available, are the old sets of H2O crayons and pastels considered retired since they both contain retired colors?

That's a great question, Laura!

No, we are not permitted to sell SU's Watercolor Wonder Crayons and/or Stampin' Pastels at all, until the product itself retires. This also applies to the Watercolor Pencils.

Thanks so much for asking first.

Who do I contact in which I have a problem? I had purchased an item from someone on the board, and have not received the item.

Good morning Mods

I had a thread in the BST forum and I lost it. I updated it yesterday and Bumped it last evening and cannot find it this morning...is there a time limit to threads? I had it going since June 7th. I had cleaned it up and added some new things. Perhaps I misjudged on the WWC that I listed? I did state the trade value....please advise.

Hi there!
What a great question! Actually, our BST/ISO threads are active for 4 weeks (28 days). After that period they are routinely purged as a part of our standard BST forum maintenance.

Since we're each allowed one BST at a time, please feel welcome to post a new thread at your convenience.

I had "sale" items posted for two weeks. Today, I cleaned up the list by taking out the sold items and now I have a message saying that my post was edited because of "current color" items.

The only thing I can see that THEY took out was the discontinued Stampin'Up Pastel collections that I had listed. Since they are a discontinued item, can anyone tell my why I can't sell them here? I think I must have missed something at my last upline meeting.

confused,
Linda

Hi Linda,

SCS does have some special limits on the sales of SU items. Because the SU Pastels are still currently sold, even though reconfigured, they cannot be sold/purchased here at SCS. The same applies to C/S assortments, Watercolor Crayons, and any other "combination" products, etc. Here's a direct link to our BST Guidelines, where you'll find lots of helpful info pertaining to SU products specifically.

Thanks for asking!

Default Being courteous!!

I have had several times when I inquired about something in particular and the person replied with a price or what they are wanting for trade, etc. In one case, the person didn't even give me a chance to reply before selling it to someone else. In another case, the person asked me what I thought was a fair price. I replied and waited on a reply (was a while but was ok because I was on vacation) and received a reply today that she had already sold it to someone else. I wish that people would be more courteous about making deals. If the person doesn't reply in a fair amount of time, then go on with it but some people do have to work so can't be right at the computer 24/7. It's very irritating to me!
Thanks for listening to me vent and hopefully this will let others know just how frustrating it can be when they aren't courteous when dealing with others.
Thanks,
Glenda

Has anyone bought a postage scale? 5lb or 10lb? Pros/Cons? Or is just easier to mail priority and forget about it? Thanks for your help, have a Great day!

I have a postage scale and love it. for some priority parcels you do need weight. i don't just send everything flat rate. many times you can ship it priority by weight cheaper.

That's a great question!
Stampin' Up! has advised that "reconfigured"/"repackaged" items are still considered as "current" in the old style. This is why we cannot sell those punches that appear now in a different punching style but still offer a previous image.

can someone post a link to the guidelines? I can't find them. I have clicked on links in earlier posts that says B/S/T Guidelines but I get the message that it is invalid. I am cleaning out my stamps and have at least 25 sets and several wheels to sell. Thanks.

I don't see the Stampin Around ink cartridges in the new catalog. Can we post these to sell?

SU offers their ink cartridges on page 193. Current cartridges are:
  • Uninked
  • Black
They have retired the ones previously sold in various colors. It is okay to offer the retired ones for sale.

How do I do bold and colored print in my post? I've tried advanced editing and also looked through the posts here but haven't found anything. I must be post challenged right now?! PLMK. Thanks!

Here you go!
  • Click on your username in the top right corner of any page.
  • Click "Your Profile" in the left column.
  • Click "Edit Options"
  • Now scroll to "Miscellaneous Options" in the center of the page.
  • Select "Enhanced Interface". Save
Now you will have text-editing features when you post.
You'll be able to highlight a word or words in your text, then choose B for Bold, I for Italic, and the A will offer color selections.

Just LMK if you need more guidance.

Hey can anyone tell me where to find the definitions for some of the abbreviations used such as NUM? Thanks!
