Description: If it’s STEAMPUNK you like, then this is place for you! Flying clocks, steamy machines and gizmos, steampunk clothing and ideas. Whatever it is that turns you on about steampunk art, show it off and share!

** If taking more than one spot, please make different set for each spot.**

Please make ATCs using a minimum of 2 layers of sturdy cardstock; dangles and dimensional embellies are great! Let your imagination be your only limit. No vendor requirements. However, do keep in mind that it has to stand up to shipping.

Quantity: 4(+1) per spot – the +1 is for the hostess to keep and treasure! 

Deadline: Must be in my hands by 5/3/13.
Sign-up date: 4/19/13
Return Date: WILL BE SWAPPED AND MAILED BACK ON 5/6/13.

Mailing instructions -

Place swap items in a large baggie for waterproof purposes. Write your real name, SCS name and swap name on the back of your art or on a piece of paper enclosed in the baggie. I want to give credit where it’s due and not misidentify anybody’s work.

Place baggie inside a self-addressed stamped envelope for return mail purposes. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount that it takes to mail to the swap hostess. To insure that enough postage will cover the returned swap items, include additional postage which will be returned if not used.

Yes, at first I was out of my comfort zone with Steampunk; but the more I attempt it, the more I'm getting into it.

Steampunk has a way of sort of pulling you in over time. It takes a while to realize all the possibilities.

I am so glad you are joining us! Steampunk is a kind of alternate history - most closely related to the Victorian and Edwardian eras. With a twist of course. Google "steampunk" and look around a bit. There is a vast amount of information and inspiration out there on the web. Think Jules Verne and steam engines. I hope that helps.

Steampunk is a fun and imaginative style/genre.
