SWAPPED AND MAILED! NVR MINIATURE ATCs. Mail by April 15 (April 1 UK/ April 8 USA)
SWAPPED AND MAILED!
This swap is Canadian based but ALL swappers are welcome! I was given the info on the size of these by Caroline(aunt sally) and I just had to try them! See my gallery for a few examples all made from scrap left over from my other swaps. Also foster mom(Barb) has some great examples in her gallery.
NVR(no vendor restriction) on everything so our pals in the UK/Europe/Worldwide can join in if they wish. I'll sort out the postage issues with everyone individually. For me it's not a problem as I'm from the UK originally and can give the UK stamps to family over there to use! Same for Australia!
MINIATURE TC SIZE = 1 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches!
Quantity to make = 10.
You make 10 and get 10 back. You can take 2 spots and make 20 and get 20 back! Each card can be different because it's about using up those small pieces of cardstock you have left over or each group can be 10 identical cards. Should you join more than one group and you are making them as 10 identical cards, please make sure each group is a different design. My only other stipulation is you use as good a quality card for the base as you have available. Surprise me with your creations!
Last sign up date March 15
Last day to mail from Canada April 15
Last day to mail from USA or rest of the world April 1
Return postage: Just send LOOSE postage stamps to the same value as it costs you in your own currency to airmail to me and I will exchange them for Canadian postage stamps to mail back. What I do with Aussie and English, USA or other countries stamps is not a problem you need worry about! One piece of advice, pack these little cards as flat as you can on a piece of thin card a little smaller than your enevelope then wrap tightly in cling wrap/film making sure there is no air and they will stay flat when you mail. The thinner the envelope, the less postage you pay as it should get thru as letter mail! Remember to send AIRMAIL from UK and AUSTRALIA or we'll be waiting forever! Even from the USA it can take 2 weeks for mail!
Any questions then either post to the thread or PM me.
Address to mail to is:-
30143 Nikula Ave

hiya ruth, would they have to be su stamped?and how many were you thinking of doing per swap as i know some do anythinh from 25 to 100!!and as ive not made any before just wondered what you had in mind.
No it wouldn't have to be SU stamps, I could make it NVR(no vendor restriction) and then everyone could join in! Numbers of ATCs, well what about 20. They really don't take too long and we can get 23 bases from one sheet of our sized(different to UK size!) cardstock here! Or we could use lots of different color scraps, I know I have LOADS!! Sorry I didn't answer sooner been out all afternoon, went to the USA! We're only 40 minutes from the border.

i think i might like to try these though id have to find out about what i do for 'return' postage,
looked at your gallery theyre gorgeous, and was that really a waterfall one too, would really love the dimensions of that sometime if you wouldnt mind,
dont worrie about not getting back we do have quite a time zone difference so when i post on here doing the day its not till night time or next morning i get back to see if theres been a reply.
CAn I please play - I am in Australia!!!
Also, can we make them all the same if we want to - just that if I have to try and create sooooooo many different cards I think my brain will explode! roflol
This will be heaps of fun!!
Karen - Australia
PS - not sure how I would sort out the return postage issue though?
oh just forget about my stupid question!! I just checked out your gorgeous little mini's and I reckon I can easily do different ones!!
They are sooooooooo dang cute!!
Wooooo hoooo FINALLY a swap I can play!
If you want to make every one the same, that's totally fine by me but if you need to use different colors for the bases, that's cool too! I shall basically be using all my scraps so they may be the same, they may be different. To answer another question, if 10 people sign up then there are 10 different cards and you will get one from each person! Similarly if you make 20, then providing enough people take spots then you will get 20 back! I'll make groups but if you sign up for two spots then you need to make two completely different cards using different stamps. Does this make sense? Basically it's the same as any other swap but there is a little more latitude with regard to the cards being identical because the object of the exercise is too use as many of those bits that are not large enough for normal size cards as possible.

Different colors, different patterns, different stamps, just do whatever you have leftovers for. I don't mind if you do a set that's all the same either as long as it's different from your first set! These are almost more addictive than normal size ATCs!!
Time to use some of your scraps, Nancy!! This should be really interesting with girls from both Austalia and the UK. Styles are so much different! Hope we get a few more Europeans from Belgium, France, Germany! How about Norway, Sweden, Denmark? You can all join in!!
Greetings Ruth. I would like to give the mini's a try. Count me in for the first group please. I love your cards in your gallery.
Thank you, Sue, glad you could join! These little things sort of grab you once you start on them and then you can't stop! There are just so many things you can do with even those little scraps. Can you tell, I hate wasting even small bits!
I did work it out once and managed to get 23 from on sheeet of 8 1/2 x 11. Really though, it's more economical to use any scraps to make the bases as I'm happy for you to send in a group of 10 that are not identical. So basically it doesn't matter if all 10 bases are different colors! Also all 10 fronts can be different too(or the same!), USE those scraps! This really is about having fun without cutting into a complete sheet of cardstock.
I will try out the cutting thing again and post the directions sometime.
I don't check the swap section for one day and your at it again. Definately put me down for 2 spots.....I have tons of scraps to use up and what better way to use them then with a swap.
Thanks, Patti, these little devils come with a warning though! Once you start making them it's very difficult to stop! Make sure you have plenty of time to get a whole load done in one fell swoop. I'll add you in twice.
