Yes we are basically looking for that distressed grunge style. You can do it how ever your personality sees fit. Just enjoy the journey!

I have agonized over thiese for days and nights. Some nights when I wake up and can'[t sleep I see those calling birds. I finally have come to a satisfactory end to my search. Maybe not the best, but satisfactory......Now I can work on them and get them done and get on to other things. Can't wait to see what everyone else has come up with with.

It will be a while before I get to work on these. I am going to be moving this next month. I am just working to get out my swaps that are due before the end of october. Everything else will have to wait until the end of September

I think I have finally found the card and image I want to create. Enough so, that I will continue making the rest of the cards. Once they are cut etc. there is no turning back as I don't have any more paper to create something new. How's that for stress?

Way to commit. No more paper usually means I mess up somehow.

I'm the same way. If I buy extra paper "just in case" I end up with tons of extra, but if I buy just enough for what I need, I mess up and have to come up with a creative way to make it work.

Aren't you an early bird? But then I have a very good start on mine as well. I would like to finish these by October, so that I can concentrate on Christmas at home, cards, shopping and all those other details that go along with the holiday.

Yes, I am trying to be early with everything. I don't want to take a chance and something happen and not be on time. I like to have everything done well in time for the deadline so the hostess (and I) don't get stressed.

No pix. They flited around so much and wouldn't sit still long enough. Just have to wait for them to perch.

Good morning fellow creators. How are our Christmas jingle cards coming along? I have a whole total of one finished and all the bits and pieces ready to assemble for the others. I keep switching from one swap to another, but I think it is time to settle on one in its entirety and be able to say I've done it. It's a little overcast this morning but we are expecting a beautiful afternoon once again with climbing temperatures over the next few days. Still hanging on to the tail end of summer.

I have received two wonderful sets of cards from Sybil and Barbara. Great job ladies. Sorry I forgot to post that they had arrived.
I have been so busy here lately I feel like I can't even take time to breathe. As you all know my daughter is getting married in June. So I have that whole list of to do's, which is endless. Then her and her fiance are in the process of buying a house and they both work full time so who do you think is doing the running between realtor, lawyer and bank, you guessed it. Then on top of all that my older son is buying a condo and he also works full time so more running for Mom. My youngest is thinking of joining the Marines, he is going through all the testing, which requires more running. Whew I am tired just typing all this.

So how are those cards coming along? I have been working on other swaps, but have all my bits and pieces ready to work on for these ones. I'm making this a crafting day after some easy chores. Breakfast is first. Have a good day everyone.

sos@GERMANY and libreeder are working hard on #7 and #2, looks like these birds will be flying out of Germany by Friday. Glittered and dressed for the holidays! We cannot wait until to see what the rest look like. Have a creative week.

Bump. Maybe if someone sees this on top - we'll hear those ducks quacking, or drummers drumming or just someone saying hello. It's awfully quiet out there.

The drummers are already drumming in place Norma. I haven't heard the calling birds or the pipers piping but the drummers marched to Janice a week or so ago. I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with in this swap.

Hello everyone I haven't forgotten you guys. I feel like I am on a merry go round and they won't let me off. On top of all the other things on my list of to do's, my Mom needs a procedure on her back to relieve the pain, she had been on coumadin and so she had to stop that before the procedure. So I took her for a 7:00 procedure last Thurs. and her blood was still too thin to do it, then we went back this Monday and again still too thin. We are going back tomorrow and hoping that the third time is a charm!

I did miss that, if you would like spot one you can have it, since this is 12+1 and I will be getting a set just for hosting. I have not started mine, so the offer is ther if you would like it. And it would take something off my to do list!

We had a bling problem today, the turtledoves need just a few more sparkles and
we had to order them from America. Wish we had a larger craft supplier, but we will keep crafting no matter what. I am jealous that some ATC's have already been mailed and received. Madonna we can still make the post tomorrow!

I have just posted my Pipers to my gallery. The colour is not showing it to its advantage.
It has a softer gold appearance than shown. I tried multiple times to capture the true colour but no go. Just 10 more to go to finish this project and a couple more to finish in my PATS and I can't believe I am done.
