Marilyn, if you need to start one more group so we can get Sybil hooked ( ) I would love to be in the group with her to help hold her hand thru the first one.
I don't know how to ask a question yet. I will just have to see where I am fitted in and then I will know what the question is. Maybe it will make sense to me when I get to that point and just follow Instructions. I love to learn new things, so... Here we go.

Marilyn, Please put me in one spot somewhere. I have read the instructions over and over and am still not sure I get it. So just one for now, and if I don't mess up too much I will try again next time.
Glad to have you, you fit right nice here. Joyce, since you offered I think we will set up a group 17 Sybil I'll add you in spot three.

If I had you and Paulette and maybe one more sympathetic, understanding, knowledgable person I would be in HOG HEAVEN!

I'd like a couple of spots. Man, this filled up fast! Sybil, I tried spots 2 and 3 last time to get my feet wet. Once you're in it, it's easy to see how it works. Now I'm ready for spots 1 and 4. I am so glad you opened up a couple more groups, Marilyn. You can put me anywhere I fit, one spot in each of the new groups, please.
Hi everyone!
Thank you for letting me join this swap group! It looks like a lot of fun! I've swapped cards and ATCs on other groups, and I've worked on collaborative cards like these JAMS, but I'm new to swapping on SCS. I would like 2 spots please, Marilyn, in whatever works best in your group arrangement. I'll start working on bases, just in case!
What do y'all prefer to use for your ATC base? Cardboard? Cereal boxes? Playing cards? Cardstock? Manila folders? Felt/fabric? Other stuff?

I have you in group 18, spot 1 and now I'm gonna do some rearranging and I'll let you know what other group you're in after that.
Look at THAT!! Surrounded by my security blanket I can't do too badly.
Barb and Joyce and Paulette are just......... Wow! Couldn't ask for better company!
Just hope I don't mess up too much.

That is not even possible. You making a mess - I just don't see it happening.
It's good to have you, I use cereal boxes or sturdy cardstock. Before you send to #2 spot please begin the ATC with a paper technique or stamp.
Hope you have lots of fun. There are so many different swaps here I'm sure you'll find many to try out. Marilyn

That's what I usually use too. I have made some ATCs with felt and some miniATCs with acrylic, both of which were fun. I've heard of ATCs made with wood or metal also, but I haven't tried those materials yet.
BTW, Marilyn, is there an official start date when the reserves need to be committed?
Thank you!
I rearranged some spots in group 11 and added two to group 18.
I expect that kindeld, her friend, and venus@home will officially post and be added by next Saturday August 4. If I haven't seen their posts by then they will be open spots.
Here's a reminder to those in spots 2,3,4 for our closed groups- PM your #1 spots.
Groups 12, 14, 16, 18 your groups will need to wait to hear from the three spots who haven't posted yet. I have swapped with Kindeld in the past and she posted on the last round that she wanted in four spots for this round and had a friend that also wanted to be in.
I was notified by our thread mod that individuals must post that they wish to join a thread so that's why I wrote -reserve on their spots.
I just keep reading the first page over and over and I think I am understanding it now. At first I thought the last person mailed them all to you and you did something with them. I will get it. I will. That is why I am only doing one this time. You have to draw me pictures sometimes.........................

I'm glad to see you are in my group. It is good to have your buds swapping with you when you have no idea what you are doing. I always enjoy learning from you gals.
