And to those who didn't put your names on the back so we can know who made those pretty things...........[/QUOTE]

Inchies swam into Madtown today too---so much rain here. Up to 3 more inches tomorrow. Maybe rain-snpw mix on Fri. Thanks to our hostess and all you inchie artists. I have to echo Sybil's dismay---please remember to put your names on the back.

For those of you suffering mildew from all that rain, the annual average rainfall for Phoenix is about 8 inches, so less than an inch a month. It's incredibly dry here. Yes, I realize it's the desert We have dust storms instead. When we have an overcast, gloomy sky, it's cause for jubilation. Just sharing another point of view. Still, as a mid-west girl, I remember ... ah, yes!

So ... 100 incredibly tiny works of art arrived in the desert today. I go frantically from one to the other, and then slow down, take a breath and start over. I have laughed out loud several times, and am just in awe. I will post more later, but wanted to thank all of you for the fun and the time spent on these. Dena, thank you so much for all your hard work. I know you have a ton of things on your plate right now. This was just a blast! After being away for awhile, you helped me get my mojo back!

Got my inchies today, too! I've been looking and looking and looking at them all! Thanks to all who participated -- what a great variety of art I have! And Dena, thank you for hosting this fun swap. I really can't imagine swapping out so many inchies to so many people. Amazing!

I recognize a lot of familiar names, with many from the Stampin' D'Amour ATC swaps I was in a few years back. It was so good to get some of your art again!! I hope this swap comes around again sometime; I would definitely sign up (but hopefully get started sooner). Great fun and great art!!

Without a doubt, I have to say that I have poured over all these little gems, and for the life of me cannot choose just one to call my favourite. Usually one will jump out at you, but too many crossed that line, so I am just going to give a huge thanks to you all for your wonderful work. And Dena, thank you doesn't seem enough. But huge thanks for a job well done. (((Hugs))).

This is the best part of being a hostess...hearing happy swappers!! I am NOT trying to pat myself on the back when I say this, but I very seriously try to make people happy with what I swap back. For example, I know Sybil doesn't care for scary stuff, I know pookiestats likes Dr Who, I know pugs likes birds, suji's sense of humor, etc. You can ask Lara (who has been part of the swapping process in the past) that sometimes I agonize about who gets what. And I hated the fact that I didn't get mailed sooner. Having said that, I was thrilled to hear our Northern ladies essentially get inchies at the same time as everyone else.

That's why we love swapping with you, Dena. You really do a good job remembering all us chickie's likes and dislikes. I was so pleased with all my inchies, not a scary one in the whole lot. You are so sweet to remember I am such a wimp! In Joyce's PAT 25, one of the ladies in my group chose "Mythical Monsters." I fretted over that one and didn't even want to look for an image for fear I would have nightmares. But I found something non-scary and made one and she saw it on my gallery and said she liked it. I was relieved, I just don't enjoy things that have blood all over them and their eyeballs hanging out and........gotta go. I'm scaring myself.

I terrorized poor Sybil a few PATs ago---she was in my group and my theme was "What the Cat Dragged In." Sybil was not so pleased with what she saw when she GOOGLED it. She recovered and came up with a non-scary, non-gory whimsical alternative.

I got inchies!!! They are amazing. Thank you everyone for your beautiful, hard works of art. Thank you Dena, for hosting this swap and being patient with my late arrivals. I've gone through them so many times and I've put so many aside to use in my Project Life. The food ones, the travel ones, the funnies, the pretties, the historical ones. You're amazing for matching the inchies with us swappers, even the ones who may not post so often *points to self*. You go girl!! I.Love.them.all!!

I'm officially addicted to inchies!!

I want to know where the little charms came from as well. Minis are too fun! Off to look through them again. We have got to do this again...soon LOL!

Thank you, Dena, for accommodating by abbreviated version of your 100 inchie swap!
I love these little gems! I had "walking pneumonia" and the 'flu. We wont mention that my procrastinitis also played a role. I will try to post a picture of the inchies I received and hope those who ended up with mine like them. Thank you all for sharing your fabulous work!

The best inchie swap ever! I don't know where to start, and would hate to leave anyone out, but just a few things I have to mention.
Liz, thank you so much for immortalizing your Marine on an inchie! I have the best memory of lunch at Panera, and swapping stories, yeah, you know the story I mean
Normat, I have Edward with (Bella?) on his back. That is so darn clever, you're a hoot!
Paulette, I love the beach gal with the teensy shells, and others, oh this is so difficult.
Jan Larson, maybe my favorite from you, where in the world did you find that tiny, tiny mermaid?
Suji dear, the picture with Tim, lol, love it. Nothing has made me laugh more than the sweater girl. You know, the one with the big .. um .... mammary glands.
I knew I couldn't do this justice. Lara, the lovely little ocean floor scene, Dena , such lovely vintage work. I just don't have time or space to do this right. Thank you all so much. I am decorating with these, and will post when it's complete!

Lindac007 I made the tiny fory by using metal duct tape placed over cardstock. Then stamped it with black stazon and cut out. Happy you like it.

Someone earlier asked what to do with her inchies. A few days ago I found some 6x6 plaques that I never used. They were perfect to mount 25 inchies on each. I have only done one so far. I tried so hard to keep them all in line. So a little trick. I cut strips of cardstock slightly smaller than the inchie and mounted them individually with 2-sided tape. That way I could squeeze them together and keep a reasonably straight line. Here is the one plaque that I have finished so far.
(and I have to admit a goof up. I mounted a couple of them the wrong way - my apologies to the creators)
