It seems someone in this swap advised me I will be gone three weeks NOT two weeks unless I plan to jump off the boat in midstream. Sorry, I plan to stay onboard as I CANNOT swim. LOL!
I haven't done inchies FOREVER and since it the Beanster who asked....you can count me in!!! Thanks for bringing back a "classic" swap! This is a group of names I haven't seen together for a long time!
Dena -- when you say a true one inch in size, does this mean no dangles or embellies hanging off the side? I know that some of us (me!) are going to make these into a canvas, and having never done that before I want to make sure the inchies I make will work for this purpose.

no, dangles are totally ok. I put that in there because in the past i have rcvd inchies that were terribly crooked or like 11/4 in. And by the way, dangles are awesome for the last row of a canvas and if you have any with pockets they are great for the top row.

Um, Yes. THey are 1x1 and you would be surprised at what can be done with them. They are addicting, and wonderful, and my favorite thing to do.
I am always excited about anything to do with these little jewels.

I love the challenge of inchies. I thought it would be harder to do them when I first started, but then I realized its a matter of 'changing your focus'. Like literally zooming in. My creative process tends to be a bit messy... lol! And when I started looking at the little things I left laying about, paper scraps and ribbon bits, die cut negatives, random little broken things, its like a whole new world of possiblitlies opened up.
Aw, schucks Sybil! That means alot, considering you're one of the people I've stalked the gallery of and aspire to be as good as! Actually, I was a little scared because most of them have joined the swap, and I really wanted to be on par with the work I knew you guys would be doing. So that makes me feel better!

It is strange to be the "stalkee" instead of the "Stalker". I don't feel that I am in the same class as a lot of these ladies either. But it the best group to learn from and get help from and have fun with. (I know, terrible grammar) Just jump in and let those little bitty inchies tell you what they want you to do to them. HAVE FUN! That's what I do.
