I am making mine in sets of five. I made a few more this afternoon, just waiting for their eyeballs to dry.
Another set rattling around in my brain, found some wonderful background stuff......it never stops.
Is there a 12 step inchie program anywhere?

Lazy Sunday - I read a little, played on the computer and looked for some ideas for PAT 25. Then later this afternoon, DH and I went out for "lupper". A combination of lunch and early supper. Back home again, to feed doggie, whose family is out at a friends watching the Super Bowl. Now I plan to do some more reading, and relax the night away.
I finished two more sets tonight. In the back of my mind I knew I was to make 20 sets of 5, but somehow 5+1 was written in my swap book. I know I did that, but have no idea why. So I have actually been making 7 of each so I could keep one.
DUH.
I will have some extra, so will be able to do other projects with them. Oh will, I am having so much fun it doesn't matter.

Hey Dena -- a friend and fellow inchie enthusiast would like to join this swap. She just signed up at SCS and is still feeling her way around the site. Would you please add her to the group? Her user name is "Groovy mom" (and her name is Nan). Thank you!

I stopped around 35 and am hoping to get back to them this week. They need to be embellished and finished off. And then onwards with another group. My mind is already gearing up for Pat 25, so I am trying to turn it off. First things first.

More inchies finished and on the gallery this afternoon.
Here are some things for you new inchie makers to watch for. Things I have learned from experience. I am sure nobody else has ever done these things:
Very carefully made the inchie on cardstock, put glue all over the backing, carefully put the inchie on making sure the edges line up and it is securely glued down, and then reallized you glued it FACE DOWN!
Punched out several little bitty shapes to be glued on, put them all together in a separate little piles, then SNEEZED and the whole works splattered all over the table.
Lost an inchie, counted 3 times, couldn't find it, looked everywhere, made another one to be sure you have enough, and then find the lost one stuck to your elbow.
But it's all good. The results are worth all the ticky little things that happen. I LOVE INCHIES!

True Confessions here....
I scored teaching kits from the post office (Thank you Goodwill Store) The 60's, 70's and 80's. All three sets - Woohoo! Each set had 12 x 12 pages with icons from each decade bordering each page. I have been sitting on these jewels FOREVER just waiting for an Inchie Swap to come along. I picked 20 of my favorites to embellish and have enough leftover for another swap or two.
Otherwise I would be suffering MAJOR Inchie Stress. Inchies are a BIG challenge for me.
I am sending some of my Inchie Relief in your direction however. Relas and enjoy the process.

Mrs McC, your inchies are fabulous & fun. That lost inchie saga is very familiar to me. I've done the same thing---I think there is an evil inchie elf who steals inchies from my craft table. I'm even going to send a few extra to Dena as I'm sure the lost inchie saga has got to happen during the swapping process.

Thanks for your kind words. I have so much fun making inchies.
That is a good idea to send a few extra to Dena. I goofed, instead of thinking "5 to a group" I thunk "5+1" and made 6 plus an extra one to keep. When I discovered it I just kept making them in that number. So I can send a few extras too. Those stinking little inchies can get out of sight in a wink. I have actually finished 35 for the swap, so am really bopping along.

Good morning ladies! I like the idea of making extras as well. I've started just what you're doing, Sybil. A 5+2 of sorts, lol! Inchies do have a habit of inching away. I have a feeling, I'm going to find a whole lot of stuff when I move my desk...

Just a thought.... let Dena know you are sending extras and if you are expecting them back. Dena will be sorting lots and lots of inchies come April 1 and we don't want the poor woman to go slightly batty when she thinks she started out with 100 inchies instead of 106 inchies

Well gang, been an "interesting" week to say the least...I had a little bump thing on my scalp after having my hair colored...irritated by the bleach....it got terribly infected and made my face and lymph nodes swell bad-my eyes have been almost swollen shut. Anyway, I am in the hospital admitted with this very nasty infection. I am doing better but it's been a very, long trying week.

Ouch! Must be pretty bad if you're in the hospital. Hope they put you on some super powerful antibiotics. I got my prize for posting the funny inchies. Really cute 7 just what I needed. I was driving in my car today & it smelled stinky; so that nutty little squirrel will have a nice home in my car. Thanks so much & get well soon.

Oh, Dena!! So sorry to hear this! I hope the antibiotics get to work real fast! Feel better soon!!
Dena, so sorry about your problems. Take your meds and do what they tell you to do. You don't mess around with that kind of stuff. We don't want anything to happen to you. GET WELL SOON!

Well, that just stinks, Dena. Hope you get better real soon. I always worry when I feel a little stinging on my scalp when I get my re-touches - I have visions of a chunk of hair falling out. What you're going through has to be painful.
Thank you all for the well wishes!! I can't even begin to tell you how awful this whole ordeal has been. It has been scary to be so sick from something that started out as a big nothing.
Paulette, so glad your got your squirrel! I tried to pick a universally likeable scent.
