Default Closed & Receiving Year of InChIeS DuE 8-25

OK, inchie lovers! Here is a new swap to unleash your unique, creative style on an inchie.
PLEASE READ THE GUIDELINES CAREFULLY!

1. Inchies are to be decorated in months. Ex: January could be snow or New years. Febuary:Valentines, March:St Patricks Day, April rain or Flowers, May mother's day or flowers. Here is an example done by Kim Anderson
2. 10+1(10 plus one for hostess) inchies need to be different for each month. You can sign up for all months or just a few. If we have enough people sign up you wil not get one of your back, if not enough people sign up well... lets hope that does'nt happen
3. They must be backed with something sturdy. Chipboard, heavy cardstock, etc.
4. Please do you BEST work. It may be an inch, but folks work hard on these. Challenge yourself to be imaginative and creative.
5. Put your name on the back. Take credit for your work!
6. Make sure inchies are a square inch. Edges should be neat and even.
7. THEY ARE DUE 8/25/08. Gives us plenty of time. I will not hold up swap for late swappers. PM if there is a conflict I will try to help!
8. Inchies should be sent to me in a ziplock bag with a return envelope, mailing label and postage+extra stamp(s) for return.
9. Late swaps will be returned unswapped. Plenty of time to create wonderful inches of Art work!
10. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE PROCESS!!

Check out this blog! http://scsinchieswaps.blogspot.com/ Maybe it can help inspire you some more! the only hint to inchies is it has to be a 1 inch square. You can cut, glue and add to a picture you pull off of a chocolate bar, or cereal box, etc, or stamp a larger stamp using only 1 inch of it! Say you have a boy stamp holding a frog, stamp the little hand with the frog on a 1 inch square and color it and embelished or what ever strikes your fancy! You could call that inchie a April or May for spring. Just relax and have FUN! Every one has their own art so no one will be upset with you!

Okay, so I have been toying with signing up for an inchies swap. I have never done inchies, but I think I'd like to give it a try. I have some questions...

Do we have to write the month on the inchies as in Kim's sample? Or does the inchie just have to reflect the month?

The sturdy backing needed - is SU cardstock sturdy enough, or does it need to be something thicker?

Do we get our own back or should we make an extra to keep for ourselves?

Thanks for baring with my questions!
