Okay - I just read all the posts but don't see any mention of me. I am a Laura too. I guess there are 2 Laura's that owe postage. I was pm's that I owed .74 cents. So I sent Susan $1.00 on Monday. Did she receive it yet? Is my package going to be sent this week? Just checking. I know this is confusing but hopefully it will all be done soon.
I received mine on Saturday. Was very impressed with most of them. I agree with the person that wrote about Idaho - thought that was extremely clever. Will PM some others about theirs also-have been very busy making a Mothers Day book to list on eBay. This was my first swap and I found it to be a lot of fun. May do another, but not one this big! Thanks to Susan and Wanda (and Susan's husband) for all the work it took to put this together. Freyer
And for the life of me can't remember what I put on there.
Other than the state insect which is the honey bee.
The background was an outline drawn out of the state itself.
State flower apple blossom. Tried to find a flower that looked as close as possible to it.
State gem The diamond it also represent the diamond mines they have out there. Not sure what else I had on the card .
Still waiting to recieve mine in the mail. They all sound awesome.
I'm sorry they didn't turn out better. But my printer wasn't working and had to draw some of the images, Not one of my best talents. So I did my best to take a spot to help fill it up. That's also why the info wasn't on the back.
WHAT IS A STAMPPIN ADDICT!
It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first, only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
Freyer and Mel, glad to hear you both got yours. I think everyones were good; the ones everyone aren't as pleased with, I'd say most were new at this; they will know the next time. We all started somewhere, and have to be encouraging the new ones. Lisa, I think Arkansas was very nice - glad you put the state on there. And I knew that was a diamond on there.
Email from Susan again. She said all have gone postal, except for Georgia and Washington (no mail today from either of them). I know you have sent the postage, but it just hasn't arrived yet. Maybe it will be there tomorrow (Friday).
Mine haven't arrived yet but I saw a friend's set. Some people put a lot of work into their cards and I applaud their work. Some were sort of disappointing in the effort expended...
Thanks so much Susan and Wanda for all your hard work on this swap. You both did an excellent job of keeping this big job on task!!!
I can't wait until mine get here..........I was hoping today but, no such luck........I thought I included a priority stamp on mine for the return. Guess not because they were mailed out a week ago today.
Hopefully the first of the week.
I'll let you know when they arrive.
Great ATC's with the exception I did receive 2 of Pennsylvania but missing one of mine Montana...good thing I did have a extra.........so do you need a Pennsylvania? Let me know I could send it to you!
I am sharing all our swap with our store in Billings!
We are glad that everyone is slowly receiving their swaps. This is by far, one of the more intricate and biggest swaps we have encountered. I must applaud everyone who spent a great deal of time to organize, create and deliver these swaps. 50+ trading cards is big!
However, we think it is unnecessary to downplay anyone's creative efforts by saying that some are not “on par”, or “the efforts not there”. We are swappers. We swap for experience, ideas and mostly for fun. Everyone's skills vary, some may be REALLY intricate, and other may be beginner or even amateurish. Please, before anyone says that others are not putting much effort in these ATC's, please remember one thing:
Those cards might be their best work yet. We all started somewhere, please remember that not everyone is on the same level. To compare one's efforts to another is unnecessary and irrelevant.
Having said that, I am sure everyone worked hard and will be most satisfied by the ATCs that they received or about to receive.
Thank you for your understanding.

Yeah!! I got mine. I have to say I am delighted in them. It was well worth the effort. I'm glad I joined this swap as well as the famous swap. Now I have to make myself a holder from them. Everyone did I good job but, the following were exceptional:
I still haven't had a chance to check them all out throughly but, those just jumped out at me.
Have a great night!
Woo Hoo!!! Just got back from vacation. After 11 days you can bet there was lots and lots of mail, but guess what I opened FIRST. Yup, those beautiful ATC's. What a great swap! I just keep looking at them over and over. I love this collection. Thanks to ALL who organized, updated and participated. Great Job!
got a chance to look at mine tonight they look great everyone doing 50+ of anything is a big undertaking. some states were oviously easier then others and some of you were very imaginative. I think I have all of mine if I counted right
Got my cards today....haven't counted them yet to make sure they are all there. If I'm missing any, I'll just make them myself.
Thanks everyone for a really BIG deal and especially thanks to Wanda and Susan. I don't know all the politics involved with Susan but I think this forum has lost a very important and creative member. I'm sorry about that.
I just have to add- I put my ATC's of the states in sleeves in Alpha order. When I tell people I swap ATC's, they always ask,"What do you do with them"? This swap is very interesting and even my husband is impressed by the swap. It is so fun to look at all of the different ideas we stampers came up with and the facts are really interesting!
Thanks for hostessing and thanks to all my fellow SCS swappers for all of your effort- I am very happy with this group of cards!!!
