I've been to the maritimes, Sabrina and it is a nice place to visit. (As most places in Canada are). Also been to Winnipeg as well. It's a much bigger place in the years since I was there though. I've been up and down the West Coast USA and into Vermont and
New York, but never into Kentucky. I have a cousin in North Carolina and I always say,
One day.......

Surprise, surprise. Since yesterday I am suddenly getting my email notifications that I have posts to read on SCS. It's been about six months that I have had to log in and find our swaps. Now I have my link again. But I won't cheer too loudly just yet.

So I have a question for the hostess, I am in this and the halloween swap. I have two of my 5 months completed and the rest are in process. I have all of my halloween stuff done, just waiting to get my treat to include. Can I send them all together, if I don't mind getting the halloween stuff back after halloween? Because they are due so far apart it makes sense to send them back to me separate, but I will have them all done around the same time so I could ship them together. Agh so kind of thinking/typing out loud here. I am so confused!!! HELP!!!!!

IFFs is Internet Friends Forever, or in some cases Imaginary Friends Forever.
Sort of like BFFs is Best Forever. And in some cases they all three mean the same, I think.
I have found some WONDERFUL friends here on SCS. You will too if you hang in here with us.
Hope that helps.

I usually send more than one together, but put them in return envelopes separately if they are going to be a long time getting back. It would cost a little more but if you want them in time for Halloween it would be fine.
Joyce can explain it better..................

I have my templates made. Now I just need to collect all the separate parts and start putting them together. So I should have them ready well before due date.

Yes - absolutely! I can certainly send back two different packages - you don't have to wait for your trick-or-treats. I'm very flexible and try to accommodate with postal scenarios to make it save you money. (it saves the pennies for stamping stuff you know ) Just include a note in your package with any special instructions or requests & I will try to do my best to make it work.

IFF's - Imaginary Friends Forever....similar to BFF's only further away

Referred to as Imaginary because we can have conversations all the time and never actually meet face to face - according to most of our children.

"Mom's talking to her Imaginary friends again...."

I have met 2 people who belong to another forum I am on. One lives in the same city and the other drove, Maryland to Michigan, and stayed with us for a week! Sounds crazy right? She and I had talked on the phone several times prior to our visti, our birthdays are 1 day apart and our sons' birthdays are a day apart, our DH's birthday's are 3 days apart..."Celestial Twins" is what she calls us.

There's nothing imaginary about how I care about you all. Your so genuine and honestly open and I thank God for helping us be in this life together.

Haven't started these yet, I'm sorta fixed on creating things in the order they are due. Weird I know.

The District Attorney requested all the robbery victims to come to the police station to study a lineup of five people. He placed his suspect at the end of the line. Then he asked each to step forward and say, "Give me all your money... and I need some change in quarters, nickels and dimes." The first four did it right. However, when it was the last man's turn to recite, he broke the case by blurting out, "That isn't what I said."

I love my IFFs too. I use that term fondly now. I think this is one of those doors that he opened for me Marilyn, when a different one was closed. Isn't that great, how that whole thing works.

As for the project order...I work on what screams to be done first. Sometimes it's because I an't put off the deadline any longer and sometimes it's becauseI'm soooo excited to make the project. Fortunately for me is usually the later and not to much of the former. I try not to procrastinate too much.

I have a quick question....Do all our ATC calendars have to be identical or can we use different papers and embellishments for the month we are doing?

They don't have to be identical. I will leave it up to you if you want to use different papers & embellishments on your chosen month. Since I'm the only one who will know if they are not all alike, your secret will be safe with me

I have, what may seem like a stupid question, but since I’ve never done this before … will the ATC’s that we receive back be punched, have the eyelets set and include rings as your sample photo shows? Are we supposed to send you eyelets and rings? Also, your darling little sample appears to be sitting on a base – is that true? If so, are there any instructions on how to make one or suggestions on where you purchases one?

Oklahoma City: A man was on trial for the armed robbery of a convenience store in a district court when he fired his lawyer. The assistant district attorney said the man was doing a fair job of defending himself until the store manager testified that he was the robber. The defendant jumped up, accused the woman of lying and then said, "I should of blown your (expletive) head off." The defendant paused, then quickly added, "If I'd been the one that was there." The jury took 20 minutes to convict him and recommended a 30 year sentence.

You will get back a complete calendar, ready to be assembled. I will punch the holes - so they are all uniform, and I will be sending the base and rings as my swapper goodie (a little thank you for playing gifty ) You will need to assemble the calendar once it arrives. they ship better flat The base is cardstock, and once you see it, if you want to make one yourself, you should be able to duplicate it with no problems.

If you want to add the eyelets, you can, but they aren't really necessary. My current calendar has suffered no ill effects from the lack of eyelets this year. The one pictured has eyelets because it was my prototype. I had to make the firts one so everyone could see what we were creating together.

Now, does anybody remember if I sent instructions with the calendars last year? If so, I will hunt thru my documents so I can send it again.

I didn't use the little stand last time, just put rings in the top and they stood up by themselves. I don't think I saved the pattern for the stand. I wish I had now. It was really cute. I think I was just too lazy to work at it.

One of my friends invited me to her cottage this weekend for a stamping retreat. There were old friends from my design team, new friends I had met on a recent stamping bus trip and also friends I just met for the first time this weekend. It was a great weekend---lots of stamping, eating, drinking, giggling and just plain FUN. My March calendar pages are done. I will mail them later this month.

Betty was soon to be married. More than anything, she wanted to wear the wedding dress her mother was married in. Betty's mother was beaming with pride as she gave her consent.

Later in the evening, the family gathered in the living room to wait while Betty tried on the dress. When Betty entered the room, there was a chorus of approval. The dress fit perfectly and looked wonderful on her.

Tears ran down the face of Betty's mother.

Seeing this, Betty said, "Don't worry Mom, you're not losing a daughter, your gaining a son."

"Forget about that!" she said with a sob. "I used to fit into that dress!"

Thank you, Joyce, for being patient with me ... I appreciate your answering this! It all makes sense. If you do have a pattern, would be most helpful - if not, I can wing it!
