Here are sneak peeks of my PAT's I have two more to do. Which I will get done and out this week since I am scheduled for gall bladder surgery next Tuesday. All of these have embroidery on them, I got a new embroidery machine and this was a good way to play with it and get my cards done too.

Those are really cute.
Hope your surgery goes well. You will feel so much better afterward.

My last one is done and on the gallery.
Somehow I feel sad that they are done, like a letdown or something. What's up with that?
I still have to finish the backs and hope to get them in the mail by the end of the week.

I'm finding myself saying "NO" a lot. LOL Right now he want's to eat the big dog food instead of the puppy food. It must be pretty tasty. I have the dog dishes in two different rooms, and take him to his when he tries to eat out of the wrong dish....a battle of wills is going on around here. DS told puppy last night "you can't win, do it Mom's way". (Made me laugh)
We had our Vet visit yesterday. He's in great shape and weigh's a whopping 5.8 lbs! He was very social and didn't even whimper when he got his shot. Monday night, he went to boy scouts with me - slept the entire time in the car in his carrier - not even a whimper.
He is not satisfied until ALL the dog toys are in the middle of the room. One of my first tricks will be teaching him to put them away when he is done for the day. Hopefully he will be a quicker study than Russell - he still doesn't "put things away" very well.

I am not sure I mentioned it but Tuesday is surgery day, today is pre surgical testing at 1:30.
My friend said if they keep taking things out of me I am going to be like a hollow chocolate Easter bunny, and I will echo.
I am laughing here. I've had lots removed too, but I am not hollow. It seems the hollow has been replaced with fat stuff and and I am much like Winnie the Pooh.

Good luck on teaching him to put things away. With three, our house always looks like kids live here. It is funny, if we get them toys or chew bones, we always get three and give them all one at the same time. But somehow we get it wrong. They all get the wrong one and have to snitch somebody else's and and they just go in circles like they are saying "MINE MINE MINE!" Ruby is the sneaky one. She will wait and watch and wait and if one of the others turns his or her head, their goodie is RUBY'S!
Charlie still hasn't finished examining all the toys in the toy box. He gets them out almost every day, doesn't play with them, just keeps sniffing them and moving them. You can tell I live a very sheltered life, but they are entertaining.

For Christmas I bought the three of them each a squeaky ball, three different colors, but the same ball. They always all want the same one, and the older dog got the blue one, and he doesn't want anyone else to have it. They say dogs are color blind but I am not buying it. Who ever asked them and got a true answer anyway.

Ha, teaching my dogs to put their toys away. I'll keep dreaming on that one. Jordin likes to pile all of her stuff up in the middle of the floor, tennis balls included...I think that's as close as I'll get to her cleaning up. Batman doesn't entertain toys unless he sees us playing with Jordin, then it's his life mission to break up the fun and hog the toys until he falls asleep on top of them.

OMgosh, Jen! What a lucky lady you are. Go, go girl. It is a fabulous trip and I know you will enjoy it. I want to go again. I have been twice before but I would jump at it again. The first time we went all out with a land cruise as well, through Denali park and the second was the cruise only, but both are wonderful. Oh I am so envious.
Well for a sneak peak I have group 6 posted in my gallery. I have 3 more to do to complete my other groups and will post them at some point.
I spent the morning getting the cards I have received sorted and ready to go. My PAT swapping system is officially back on track.
I'll be at the mailbox waiting for packages to arrive....
Smarty pants.
I still don't have the backs on mine. Went to the eye doctor this morning and am still having to squint to see. Hopefully my eyeballs will round back out and I can get them finished tonight.
Good news is I don't need new glasses. They are expensive.
Not so good news is the cataracts are causing me to not see perfectly, and until they are removed I will just have to put up with colors looking muddy and things looking wonky and lights driving me nuts. The glasses wouldn't help that. Himself follows me around turning off lights, and without them on I feel that I am living in a cave. I am thinking of moving to a cave.

My Dad had the cataract surgery last year, and can see better than I can now. He didn't have a bit of trouble with it (and he's a diabetic). If yo have the option - take it. You'll be amazed at what you can see again.
Good luck tomorrow, Janice !! and LOL @ Joyce's comment about going for the ears first.....
I am working on my last one and mine will be in the mail this weekend. I'll confirm once they're actually in the hands of the USPS. The extra time was helpful so thanks, Oh Hostess with the Mostest !! I was struggling on this last one and I ended up throwing my first attempt away. I had a really neat idea (at least I thought so) and it didn't work out AT ALL. The card was horrible and the more I tried to fix it, the uglier it got. Actually, I should get it out of the trash just so I can look at when I need a few laughs (eyeroll)...

Oooooh send it to me! I am trying some new things tonight, and they aren't cooperating at all. I won't feel so alone with my failure if you send me one of yours.

Joyce, so glad that my atcs arrived safely. These were such fun themes. I love that about PAT swaps...I'd never think of all of those topics.
No I didn't dye the seam binding. I bought a whole bunch of colours on Etsy. Her colours are so vintage and rich. I've been using little snippets here and there. Sometimes it's just the little embellie needed when nothing else works. Glad you like it
I am debating about that 100 inchies swap. Love making inchies but 100 sounds a little daunting :0 Can't wait to see what you're cooking up, Joyce.

You know you want to do the inchies. There is plenty of time, and we can do them and anything Joyce has too. Jump in. It is an adventure to see what Joyce comes up with. I LOVE her swaps.

ROFL
You say 95 like it's a small number. I have already told bean that I would try to get them made and THEN sign up. That way there is no pressure. I already have Inchie stress just thinking about it.
I guess if I put a mermaid on 5 of them, then I would be doubly stressed.

I just got home from a day of appointments for Dh and me and supper out. Just to let you know that all my cards are done and posted in my gallery. I just have to add my backing tomorrow and I will have them into the post right away. (The mail.) I am pooped so it's good night to all. I'm ready for my PJ's.

Jen and I have had several "Mermaid" subject PATs and such in our past swaps. Each time we have struggled to get it "just right". So now we joke about our Mermaid stress because we think it's funny. Yeah, it's a little inside joke.
