Good morning Claudia

I was updating when you posted - I added a couple of more groups too. We are filling up very well - some great topics are showing up. I may have to take a spot or two myself! I'll go add you and see where we are with openings.

Gotcha added Candy - Vintage Holiday is always a good return and superstitions...that should be fun. Good choices.

24 PATS?? Wow!!! We should call Guiness Book of Records!

Can I please have 1 spot in Group 9 - funny pets; and 1 spot in Group 10 - vintage medicine; and 1 more spot in Group 11 - kid art.

Joyce, these PATs are going to be death of me, but I will go happy with a smile on my face! lol Very fun!

Wouldn't you know it. The luck of the draw. I had a garage sale last weekend and cleared a lot of my old stamps. They went like hotcakes. And one set that I started my collection with, was HEDGEHOGS! Guess what one of my themes is? So I guess I shall have to go digital. LOL.

This just re-affirms why I hold on to EVERYTHING. I threw out some little plastic noses once (the kind on teddy bears) and then one of my PAT partners had noses for a theme. I'm a hoarder.

Norma, my sympathies. I have done that before, given or thrown something away and then needed it. I am not QUITE a hoarder with anything except my crafting stuff. I neatened and cleaned and got the whole house looking good yesterday, but I can't walk in my craft/sewing room. It is on my schedule for next week. But I dread making the decisions of what should go and what to keep.
One stamp set I almost gave away is an old stampin' up set. It has a jar with a lid and little candies a fish and stuff in it. I think it was called "All Wrapped Up." After a while I never used it and it almost went away. Now what do you see that is popular? Jars. I am so glad I kept that one.

My goodness, this has filled up!! I'd like a spot in 4, 7, 9, and 11 please The only ideas I have so far are for group 9, I'd like ferrets

Fun themes so far, I'm gonna put on my thinking cap and cruise through youtube for some technique inspiration.

You missed out on the last spot in 9 so I gave you the first spot in 12. Is that okay with you?

These are going to be the most interesting of themes to interpret. And did they fill up or what? Well, first things first - calendars. I plan to start on those this weekend.

Joyce, Your DS was just not used to the 'new you' heehee.......it's fun to go change your hair style and color - good for you - you go, girl !!!!

And you make a great point about making something different for each swapper in the category. I've only used this technique one time so far and there could be some fun variations with it so thanks for the good advice - I will take it............

Hi Everyone!!!

Joyce, thank you for the invitation...

Unfortunately I'm going to have to keep the bench warm this round. Sigh. I'm gonna get kicked off the team at this rate.

I have a couple of other commitments that are going to take all my spare crafty minutes...and I'm pooped.

If I promise to cheer real loud, can I hang out on the sidelines?

Joyce, in gr. 9 you put Sandi down for ferrets---I think that was the theme LabradorDork wanted. Sandi hadn't picked a theme yet.

You mean I don't have to do ferrets? Oooo I was sweating there for a while. LOL.

Jane you can be my cheerleader any time. I had my break this year, so I fully understand yours. DH still not out of the woods yet. Or he is just a complainer with a touch of hypocondriac. (is that the correct spelling?) He sees the cardiologist in a weeks time, so we'll see what he thinks. It's been 6 months, but they say it can be a year or more to fully recover. Keeps me on my toes.

Good morning

That's what happens when I try to edit posts and watch TV at the same time. I was watching Grimm last night and reading/editing during the commercial breaks. Silly hostess - no multi-tasking for you! I've fixed it.

Yes Jane, you are more that welcome to be a sideliner this time - just keep up the chatter and you'll always have a spot at the table. If I can get DS to take a reasonable picture, I will post my new do.

I am tickled pink at how quickly this has filled up. VBG Since we have a good long time between now & the due date, if we need to add more spots, I will certainly do so.

Good morning all! It's 45 degrees and sunny and I am NOT turning the furnace on, I'm not, I'm not. I spent part of the morning looking at fake fireplaces for my family room, but nothing is speaking to me, so I'll probably deal with the one I've got.
Joyce, I have come up with my themes:

Group 7 - make it move
Group 9 - Cat-astrophy
Group 10 - vintage hairstyles

I've got your topics added Claudia - I love moving cards. I knew I should have grabbed a spot in that group!

Okay...here is the new hair. One shot was take outside where the light is good, the other taken inside so I wasn't squinting. He said this morning that it didn't look odd today, so I consider that progress.

I love your hair Joyce. It is so flattering and gives you a very happy, content look. What woman. I would like to pick the theme of "Serenity by the sea" as a theme in Group 9 of #24 PAT.

#2 = Happy birthday, Joyce. Have a terrific day celebrating YOU
#3 = If there is enough interest, I'm in technique mode and I'd take a spot if we open up a second group for 'techniques I want to do' (so many techniques, so little time LOL).

I will take the empty spot in group 8 with chunky as in detail not theme. And I will take a spot in group 11 with Norman Rockwell. I will take another spot but still thinking of a theme.

Good evening

I spent a full day running around with DS and Sister. We had a blast, but stayed out very late (for us anyway).

I've caught up the first post with everyone's requests. Please take a look and make sure I got all the things that were asked. Janice & Kathy - I started a 2nd Techniques I want to do Group and I've joined in that one as well, so we shouldn't have too much trouble filling it.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone. Since I ran around today, tomorrow will be a quiet stay home day. We are planning a dinner and hiking event next weekend for my family birthday bash. It rained all week this week, so hiking would have been a soggy mess - no fun in that, so we are hoping to dry out a bit this week.

I'm glad ya'll like the hairdo Sister said it didn't look odd to her either. VBG

I hoard lots of stuff but those teddy bear noses I tossed out---that was just before someone decided they wanted "Noses" as a theme.

You're batting a million, Joyce

I knew your sister would HAVE to give you a thumbs up on your new hairdo cuz it's terrific !

And thanks very much for adding a second group for 'techiques i'd like to do'. There are so many I want to try that I'm having trouble deciding on one - for now, that is heh heh - I'll let you know what technique I'm going to do as soon as I know haha

I figure with that category, we might not decide until after we try a few out. I have a couple of things I want to try, but I don't want to commit until I know they are going to work. I figure your partners will understand - they will probably be doing the same thing.
