*Swapped & Postal* Alphabet Inchies! - due July 17th
Welcome inchie lovers! (and anyone new to inchies)
This is an Alphabet Inchie swap. You choose a letter and make 26 inchies for that letter. You can make them look the same or you can make them all different, as long as each one has the letter you signed up for.
Quantity: Send in 26... you will receive 26 back, one of each letter. When you get your returns you will have a complete alphabet (including one of your own, unless we get two sets of alphabets filled)
There are no vendor requirements to this swap.
Please do your best work. Please make them sturdy. Please make sure to make them true one inch squares! Two layers of cardstock or the cardboard from cereal/etc boxes with paper layered on them are recommended. Do not just photocopy something and send it in. Add embellishments, danglies whatever kinda pizzaz and bling you want.
Please put the letter you are doing or a word beginning with that letter on the inchie, so we can easily tell which letter it is.
Please put your name, SCS name and Location (ie. city/state/country) on the back of your inchies.
Deadline: Inchies are due in my hands on July 17th. I will be swapping them out that weekend and mailing them the following Monday or Tuesday (depending on my work schedule). Late arrivals, therefore, will not be included and will be returned. Please make sure you mail them to me in plenty of time for them to get here!
Please read mailing instructions carefully!!
Mailing Instructions: Place inchies in a plastic baggie. Please include as much loose postage as it took to mail plus an extra stamp just in case, which will be returned to you if not used. NO postal meter strips please! Include a self-addressed label or piece of paper with your mailing address clearly printed on it. Write the name of the swap on the outside of your envelope. I will provide an envelope to return your inchies to you. . Please do not send SASE's. That way I can return unused postage.
International players: In lieu of postage please send some local 'found' ephemera (ie. labels, newspaper ads, canceled non-u.s. postage, etc.), something that's not easily found in the U.S. In return for this 'found' ephemera I will gladly cover the return postage. It doesn't have to be fancy, I'm a sucker for newspaper/magazine ads from other countries.
If you have any questions, please ask!!
I would like to limit this to a maximum of two letter per person. If we end up with plenty of players and a lot of interest I may increase that. I will start out with one alphabet set and add if we need to.
If you need to withdraw PLEASE PLEASE let me know as soon as possible so that we can get that letter replaced. I understand life getting in the way, but I also don't want to send out incomplete alphabets.
When your name changes color, I've received your inchies.
Okay I do have a question does our letter have to be on the inchie or just something starting with that letter?
either the letter or a word beginning with the letter. not just a picture please. that way we know for sure what letter it is. if someone send in a picture of a monkey without the letter it could be a for animal or m for monkey.
thanks for asking!! I should have specified that in the original post... I'll add it now
Another thing I forgot to add to the original posting... please please make sure they are truly one inch square. this is especially for people who like to organize theirs in a canvas, if they aren't all true 1 inch it can make this difficult to line them up.
