Ok, let's see....Thank you cards, bling it up cards (2 spots), Penny Black cards, 100 inchies and am 'subscribed but not committed' on the 'Love Your Brayer' swap where I'd really really really like to use Michelle Zindorf's brayer technique because I love her technique and I could really use some practice but I don't want to over commit - SOOO easy to do

I know the feeling. I am halfway thru my 100 Inchies, but am not signing up until I hit the 75% mark.
I'm posting the PAT 25 swap tomorrow, I want to make Moos and I am REALLY tempted by the fancy folds SS Swap that is currently taking names....really tempted.
Not to mention the other swap ideas that are on my to-do list.....
It has been 3 months since I have been able to play around on SCS and this is the first swap I am signing up for.
Joyce, may I please have one spot? Until a couple of minutes ago I had never heard of a Moo swap! I am still not entirely sure I know what one is but I have plenty of time to figure it out
Thanks Joyce

What's a fancy folds SS swap?
I'll be watching for PAT 25.

You certainly may - and we are happy you're here with us again. Welcome! If you have any questions, you know one of us will answer.
Thanks for the info on the SSswap. I didn't know about that. I won't be able to fit anything like this into my already over the top stuff.
I made 30 valentines favors for my Threads of Love ladies last night, and have to cut out 12 outfits before next Friday.
I finally found someone who can quilt a quilt, so will be starting to piece one asap. It is for my son and his wife for their 25th wedding anniversary, which was October 2011. That is how far behind I am.
LIFE IS GOOD!

I always give my Threads of Love ladies a little gift, and this is what they are getting for Valentines Day. I used the "slider card" directions but scaled them down to fit the little Hersheys minis. They are so cute, have messages on them. I made labels and stuck them on. When they pull the ribbon the candy will pop up. I have made the bigger ones before, but it gets expensive when you have that many to make and have to pay almost $1.00 per candy bar. It's the thought that counts, right? I think they will like them.

Happy Mail Alert!
Our first Moo has arrived and it is exactly what I had in mind for this swap!
QueenofInkland - Kathy this is inspiring me already. I have never tried the
Burnished Velvet & Copics, but I have had it on my to-do list for a long time. This is beautiful, and all the suggestions on the reverse.....perfect! I love adding glitter, but have never tried coloring it. I promise with all the goodies you sent to me, I will have it checked off the list pretty quickly (PAT 25 perhaps...)
If you get all your obligations complete before the due date, feel free to jump in for more spots. I'm sure you have a few more excellent tricks up your sleeve.
Now, for the rest of you - No hurrying - take your time and enjoy discovering your favorite prompts. Playing in this swap is definitely encouraged!
Yay!! The moos have landed. So happy that you like 'em. What I learned in doing this swap is that I really like this technique and I think I'll be using it a lot - it's super easy if you have da stuff. Have fun trying this technique - "Stay calm and burnish on"... and that would be a hoot if it showed up on some PAT 25 ATCS as you said...hmmmmm. And if I get ahead of my other swaps, I'd love to make a few more moos for this one, so I'll keep you posted if I can do some more

Secret Sisters is the new Sub-forum we have here in the Swaps Forum. You are usually paired one to one and have specific "things" that you swap. It's fun, and gives you an opportunity to surprise one person with the specific "things" according to the individual swap guidelines.
She told the secret so it is not a secret any more. You could just be her secret sister and not tell her about it and it would still be a secret.
I won't tell.

You are my favorite Georgia sister and you can be fairy Godmother to my Watson. He went to the Vet today for his boosters and has gained 2 pounds since he was last there. (7 lbs. 6ozs. now)
We went to Petsmart afterwards and the young male clerk that waited on us took his & Watson's picture together. He said he was going to use it for his new Facebook picture.
I don't even have my picture on Facebook....my dog is gonna need a PR agent soon. LOL
Good morning!! Ooooh Washi tape, I may or may not have been hoarding the pretty stuff for a few months now, and just got around to using it, lol. Such fun!

Hmm...I'm still new to it, so hopefully a washi expert can chime in, but so far I love that it's re-positionable. You can place it and if you don't like it, peel it right up and stick it somewhere else. They come in so many fun colors too. I use some solid lighter colors in my day planner and I can write on them in pen or pencil or whatever (works great for journaling!) You can layer them and the lighter colors will show a bit of a darker color or pattern through them. That's about all I have so far. I've got a pinterest board dedicated to washi...I should click through and see what I can make. I just don't want to use them all, but I've heard that they last for a really long time, which is definitely a plus! Little bits here and there, and you've still got plenty left, which is something all of us probably don't need! ROFL!
