Ready to package up my ATC's. Janice, did you send a box? the Chunky ATC I created for you is delicate and will not make it inside an envelope. Joyce, you'll help her out and use a box if it's needed right?

We don't have a tub, but we have a cast iron bench at the front door, so our packages are left on it. We are also spoiled as our house is the last one on the block that has door-to-door postal delivery. The rest have to walk down to the community boxes on the street. If they get a parcel, they have to drive to the post office to pick it up.
Our mailbox is on the street, but I have my granddaddy's old cast iron washpot on the porch. Also a little table and chairs. Our former mail lady always brought the mail to the porch and put it on the table if there was any kind of package. The one we have now will stuff things and jam and fold things just so she won't have to walk a few feet. Sometimes it takes both of us to extract all the boxes and things.
My Stampin' Up person will leave my orders in what she calls my "cauldron". That is what it looks like. But everyone else just puts stuff on the porch floor, even with all the nice places to put things.

Well don't run to far away....PAT 25 is right around the corner. If you know your topics and want to send them to me, I already have one PM with topics in my box waiting for the next round to open. I figure I'll post the next round when the first batch of packages goes to the PO.
Offically postal... Keep Watson away from my Quik container sent a little Hershey treat inside and wouldn't want the poor dear to get sick.
Hmmm.... topics.
Over to the moos....
EEEK... I just went to check that my package had been received and noticed my name in THREE groups ... I had only written down TWO ... so my vintage ones are not there, not done, not anything ... I can get them in the mail by Saturday though, cause they all sound great and nothing I will have too much trouble getting inspired on

I've updated the first post, and have a window open to yak about the yummies received yesterday. I'm also trying to answer Pms and drink my second cup of coffee this morning. Not to mention the dog duty that has been going on this morning....
Chaos Central...how may I direct your call?.....LOL

Happy Mail Alert!!
Jabauer, CandyHaz and QueenofInkland - your packages have arrived safely.
Janice, I have sewing machine envy. These are sooooo cute! (I like the "I painted that" too - very cool). Excellent stuff - especially the googly eyes you added to mine. The bookmark is beautiful - thank you very much. Great work wonder twin!
Candy - love the work you sent in....I thought the Scouts cards was especially neat because of the message on the back. Creepy Halloween...pretty creepy. Moulin rouge....love the card - great image and wonderful application. Can't wait to see your vintage stuff!
Kathy - triple stamping & mono prints....beautifully done. The wordy bird and peacock colored monoprint are staying with me - just so you know! I would love to have seen the prints as you made them - I'll bet they were really cool. Next time, we want pictures of the process! Thanks so much for the goodies for me. I'm going to put the easel on my desk with the monoprint on it right now, just so I can enjoy it

Great cards ladies!
Wonder what will come in today's mail?
I just love my new machine and making these PATs was a good way to get some practice on it.

mrslaporte and SybilMcC - your packages have arrived safely.
Marilyn - What a cute shaped card! I think the image is darling, and perfect for how you used it. The chunky card is .....chunky! (And cute too) Your stained glass card is wonderful - I love that layer of Embossing powder that gives it the textured finish - it's perfect. Thanks for the cute yummie for me - he's adorable and delicious
Sybil - Women's hats and moulin rouge...lovely, just lovely. I love that image of Puss'N' Boots, and the Little Engine is darling. Your Vintage work is always terrific and I think the limerick on the back of the vintage underwear is perfect. You make me laugh. Watson sends Charlie (and you) his fondest regards and thanks you both profusely with lots of puppy kisses for the goodie for him. I'll make sure that he's along for the selection process.
I picked up a squeaky toy last night - a pig that wheezes a piggy grunt instead of a squeak when you squeeze it. It's almost as big as he is, and at first he wasn't sure about it. After about 5 minutes all we see is the blur of piggy and puppy whirling about the living room...piggy wheezing all the while. I called my sister and asked if she could hear how excited he was with the new toy. She replied, "It's official. Everyone in our family loves Bacon!"
If I can get him to sit still with it, I'll post a pic for you.
I am so glad they got there. I enjoyed making them, and really hated to let them go. I don't remember feeling like that much before. I should have made 2 each...........oh well. The ones I get back will be far better, and I can visit mine on the computer any time I want to. Right?
Charlie says "Hroooff" which means "You are welcome". There is nothing like puppy playing. Charlie and Ruby take spells of playing but they are not puppies so they play differently. I did find out that Charlie loves to play fetch. He actually brings the toy back and has FUN! You throw something for the other two and...... Rosie is so old she can't see it, and Ruby goes and smells of it, looks at it, looks back at me and says "So?" and goes away. I had missed so many things when Flossie left us, and Charlie has brought back the fun and affection and devotion she had. He is different, but he brings back the "HAPPY!"
Please do take pictures.........
