I didn't see another thread for this, so I just wanted to say a huge "thank you" to all of you who are helping with the gallery index project. It is fantastic. Thanks for doing such a great job
Ditto..
Thank you. It is helping me get organized. I have printed the pictures of the sets that I have and have put them in a binder so that I can use that to decide what I want to use for a project!
THANK YOU.
SCS Rocks!!!
I'd also like to say Thank You to all the index stampers. One less hurdle in my quest for organization! Now, if my stamping room would only magically arrange itself like some of those in the gallery...........
I think the indexes are great. I have a binder with the stamped images for each set if have organized into backgrounds, florals, words, etc. When I need to make a card I look through the book of what I have to decide what to use. I also have a sheet I made with the color chart to keep track of the pads and paper I have. I don't have them all yet, and have bought duplicates by mistake. I now have to update that chart because the new catty has ink cartrigdes for wheels in new colors. I don't have any of those but I took the time to put each thing that is offered in each color on the chart, so I may as well be up to date. I did a box, that I stamped a small image of the color, then listed all the items that come in that color like marker, paper sizes, cartridges, and then highlighted the ones I have. I can e mail the chart, in Word, to anyone who is interested in it. I'm not sure yet how to attach it here or if I can. I just printed it on cardstock. At the least I'll try photographing and upload pic.
The indexes are just great, I can see what I am purchasing from other SCS members by looking at the indexes and not having to get a catolog out. Its great. Great idea to print them out to organize the stamps set, I hadn't thought of that!
