Penny Black released Valentine stamps - 1 by Elzybells artist!!!!

I was SOOOOOOO upset when Elzybells closed down - they were my very favorite stamp company and over the last year, I've been trying to collect as many of her stamps that I can buy for my own collection.

Before she closed, I thought she'd mentioned on her blog that she was going to be designing for Penny Black. I've been checking the Penny Black website over the last year and never saw anything that looked like Elizabeth's work. Finally, I wrote an email to Penny Black and they told me they were releasing one of her sets this week and more next month. This is the one they released called Raindrops & Kisses:

I am SOOOOO happy! I recognize those teddy bear images as ones she released before, so I really hope that means that we'll see more of the Elzybells stamps in the Penny Black line!!!!



I'm going to go order that stamp set! I can't wait to see what will be released next month!!!

Ohhhhh, I am SO happy to hear this! I remembered that Elizabeth said she would be doing some designing for PB and I really loved her stamps so this is awesome news! TFS!

I read somewhere a little while ago that she had signed a contract with Penny Black, but I hadn't seen any of her stamps yet. That's great that some of them are out now. Off to take a look.

If you check the Penny Black blog today, you will see an Elzybells set that was part of her last release. I have the companion rectangle set, and I remember wavering back and forth between the 2. I hope this means they will release a lot of her images, because they are adorable!
