If you take PayPal and/or have any customers who use PayPal, it's a great thing to mention during Sell-a-bration. There are so many places now who also take PayPal so don't forget to take advantage of this yourself.
Woohoo, that means I should have more money to spend. I just made a paypal purchase 2 days ago. (that is if they take my signing up retroactively...might just have to make another purchase just to make sure!!! LOL)
Please also note the last sentence of the paragraph that I copied and pasted from the terms and conditions... :(

I've been a victim of identity theft, so I'm a little nervous about this promo. I went to the PayPal website, but I don't see this promo anywhere there. Am I just being paranoid? Has anyone successfully taken advantage of this great deal? Just wondering...

I signed up for it the other day. It is not always on the paypal home page as things do change. I did find it on the home page the other day and just clicked on it.
Just make sure it wasn't sent to your home e-mail address, someone posed as PayPal and sent us an e-mail saying if we input our information they would give us a rebate. I asked PayPal if this was true and they said NO WAY! I immediately had to close my account as it was fraudulent! Be careful!

I just got a spoof PayPal email 2 days ago. Luckily, I remembered all the warnings I've read about this, and even though I clicked a link, I didn't enter any personal info that it was asking for. I immediately forwarded the email to PayPal, and they responded saying that they were thoroughly investigating it and that I had been spoofed! Scary!

This thread about the rebate reminded me that I signed up for this very rebate a week or two ago after reading about it on SCS - I'm suddenly wondering if it's a scam...it's pretty coincindental that I got this spoof email after signing up for the rebate...be careful ladies...
I think that this has to be spam/phishing because the address doesn't include the "s". Whenever I log onto paypal the address is always https etc. The s at the end of http indicates a secure website.
If you are ever unsure whether it is a valid message from either ebay or paypal just forward it to [email protected] or [email protected] and they will notify you within minutes whether it is valid. I use this all the time, just to make sure. HTH

I honestly believe this is legitimate. It was posted on LifetimeMoments, and one of the owners mentions in a thread on their Message Board that they spoke with someone at PayPal. Here's the Lifetime Moments 'announcement', for those interested. (They're a reliable site, btw.)
I never received the email, so I'm not eligible. :( For once a legit. paypal email and I don't get it! LOL
I believe it is legitimate also as I said before I signed up for it and it was on the paypal website itself. All I had to do was click on it so I don't see how this can't be legitimate.
I am sure this is legite. I clicked on the Links they had and they took me to PayPal which remembered my e-mail Address.. It always does when I go to the PayPal Website.. So I believe it is true.. I will sign up as I am watching a bigger purchase right now and this will come in hand...
Thank you to OP

Well, I just got the email from Paypal to say that my account had been credited - went on the site to make sure and there is is $17.08 CAD - even though I wasn't emailed the original offer!
Thanks for the info Later Dais. I think I will use the funds guilt-free to order some more Karen Foster Snap Stamps!
