Hobby Lobby in Orlando FL

I will be in Orlando, FL for a couple weeks and I see that Hobby Lobby is scheduled to open 9/13/10 per their website. We do not have a Hobby Lobby where we live.

Done anyone who lives in Orlando know if this target opening date of 9/13/10 is a valid date? Have you heard anything? is 2728 East Colonial Dr a safe area?

That is the date that has been advertised for the opening.

It is going to be located in a town center mall-the kind where all the shops are outside.

Yaayyy, I'll be in Orlando in November and I have never been to Hobby Lobby; I hope I have time to check out the new store!

OMG, I love Hobby Lobby and have only been able to go when visiting my mom in TN. I live about an hour from Orlando...so I can not wait for it to open!!! I didn't even know one was coming!!

What direction are you from Orlando? There is a HL in Ocala.

HL recently opened in Viera, too.

I was at the Viera store last week; it is larger and nicer than the one here in Columbus GA.

Just went there yesterday! It is amazing, so huge! It's my first time going to a Hobby Lobby. A lot was 50% off, without any coupons. These weren't on sale, but they also had nesties, copics, Tim Holtz line, etc. They had a lot of decorative items too, which I was surprised to see. So those who are going, you will not be disappointed!

The area that it's in is very safe. It's your typical suburban outdoor shopping mall kind of thing. For those not familiar with Orlando though, this city is very spread out. So if you're going to Disney or International Drive, this is not that close by! At least a 30 minute drive, maybe 45 minutes.

I went to Hobby Lobby on opening day! WOW! It was huge!!! And almost everything was on sale, most at 50% off.

There is also one that opened in Daytona Beach. Love it!! 50% off on almost everything. It's a really big place and have a lot of neat things. They have things Mikes and Joanns just don't have.

Oh boy, Daytona Beach is even closer to my sisters house than Orlando! I'd better bring an extra suitcase!

I love Hobby Lobby, I live in Augusta, GA and we did not have one, they open one earlier this year, now I do not have to drive an hour to get to it. Just love the store.
