I know this is a stupid question but I am SURE someone can help me out. I bought the 8160 labels (3 across, 10 down) to use with the PT Stamps and I want to print a saying on the labels.
NO directions are included in the package and I have spent about 45 minutes and 4 sheets trying to figure out how to get it "aligned" with the labels.
What word processing program are you using? ie in Micorsoft Office just go to "Tools" "Letters & Mailings" "Label" then option to pic the type. They show 8160. Can't think of any WP that doesn't have a function like this.
Ok when you get into the screen to type your label and have the correct label selected, click the button that says new document and that will open your label into a word document so that all the labels are laid out. Does that make sense? Then you can select all of them and center or change the font or font size or anything you want.
You can also go to Avery's website - avery.com - and download their Avery Wizard for free. Makes it a snap to create labels in Word! After you install it, there's a little Avery logo on your Word toolbar.
Thanks sooo much It is amazing how fast you can get HELP on this site. My labels are printed, on the 60 Halloween Bubbles with ribbons tied in no time at all thanks to you all.

Avery also has their own label-making program to use instead of Word (free on their site). It works great. IMO lines up better than using the Word templates.
