My daughter is doing Americorps (like Peace Core) in Dubuque, Iowa and they are having a Recycling Crafty Day tomorrow.

Come join us on America Recycles Day to encourage waste reduction, save money, and show your creativity through crafting gifts for the holiday season!
With the materials we provide, you can drop in with or without your kids at Matter Creative Center to see how easy it is to make a beautiful holiday item from used items and craft supplies.
Directions and materials will be supplied for making:
-cookie cutters out of tin cans
-luminaries out of cans
-gift bows out of magazines
-pencil holder out of toilet paper rolls
-phone charger holders out of lotion containers
-gift containers out of plastic bottles
And our supplies will support other crafts your mind can dream up!
*If you are willing, you can bring your own supplies to do the crafts.
*Any recyclable item / crafting supply donations are appreciated!!
