I was disappointed. I wasn't real interested in getting this machine but was curious to learn more about it and I don't think they really covered much. Is it just me?
It's Cricut's version of the Cameo. I wasn't too impressed with the presentation I saw, but I have a Cameo so wasn't that interested. And, when I was watching it went to advance orders and those were almost gone.
I agree they didnt show much. Im not really interested in a Cricut. When they started suing other companies, I said I would never buy one. Im saving my money for a Cameo.
I recorded every paper crafting show yesterday and wasn't too impressed with any of the presentations. I have both a Cricut Expression and a Silhouette Cameo and I'd take my Cameo any day over the Cricut. I am glad to see that ProvoCraft came up with something for Cricut lovers though.

I think Provo Craft came up with a really good concept and the machine looks very user friendly. However, I already own a Cricut Expression and I've got it hooked up to Cricut Craft Room so I don't see how the Explore would work for me personally. ALSO, it seems a bit like a money grab.... none of the current blades, blade housings, markers work with the Explore as it's a completely new drive housing. So if I ever did pony up the cash to buy the Explore I wouldn't be able to use all my existing parts from the Expression. :(

I think the Design Space is a GREAT idea! I just think they should make it available to ALL the machines! We should be able to use SVG's, fonts on our computers, etc. We know, thanks to third party software, that these machines have the capabilities. The more I really think about it the more upset I get! Concept, really good, execution really really bad!
