Default American Crafts Cardstock at Tuesday Morning

My local Tuesday Morning had packages of 25 sheets of 8 1/2 X 11 American Crafts Specialty cardstock (Metallics & Textured) for 1.99. I bought a load of it, and plan to see if the other store across town has more of the colors I want. I find their Textured Metallic Cs wonderful to work with, especially on Christmas cards, or with the Nellie Snellen flower punch & emboss sets. The silver made the most glorious flowers! (I'm awfully tempted to make paper earrings from those- they are stunning!)

Also, 4 packs of AdTech glue runners (permanent) for 6.99. I like the AdTech, and that's a terrific price.

I can't resist sharing with my fellow crafters, go get 'em, girls!!!

I went across town to the other TM, and bought them out of AdTech runners, too. Not to mention 6 more packs of the cardstock. I only wish I could have scored some more of the metallic colors!

I may have to stop by there after work today. LOL!!! I've been going in every once in awhile and have found some fantastic deals on paper and punches.

Hi Brenda! It's been a while! I have to say the American Crafts cardstock is nice- and at $1.99 for 25 sheets? I would have liked another pack of gold, and something in the blue end of the metallics, but I got lots of good stuff.

Hi Pat...yep, that's an awesome deal. Another hour before I take off. So glad tomorrow is Friday.

I think I will only have time to go by the TM that's 3 blocks from my work but there are 2 more that are close by that I'll probably stop by tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up.

We have two stores here and was in one just the other day. I didn't see any packs of card stock, so I'll definitely want to make a trip back.

How does the card stock compare weight wise with Stampin' UP! card stock?

thanks in advance for any input.

~ Pam

There were some AC textured CS, but no metallic. Didn't care for the textured ones, but I did find some really cute patterned paper from AC (couple vday ones) for $1.99.

Pam, the AC cardstock isn't as heavy as the SU ones...at least the ones I saw. I don't know what the weight of the metallic ones are.

I may have to go check mine out. I have never actually been to the Tuesday Morning by me since I've moved out here. This may give me another excuse to go!
