You should check with your newspaper......here the ads all get put into the paper by the delivery person. If you get your paper in a store they should be in there. Michaels also has been putting additional coupons in a different section of the paper. Here in OH they are in a section called the Parade, but in PA where my family is from they don't have that section and I can't find any extra coupons anywhere. But the regualr ones are always in.
Also, if you go to Michaels.com and sign up they will e-mail you coupons too. I have one for 25% off entire purchase, but I don't know how to get it from my e-mail to post here for you to use. I know someone else did it on splitcoast...may want to look around for it!

This weeks coupon I got was on a little flyer from the store with 50% off and it goes from the 25th to the 31st. Sometimes if I dont get one I ask the cashier and they will give you the coupon discount.

Hey I noticed your post...I know there was at least one week when they put the Michaels coupon in the Parade section of the newspaper...its an insert magazine...I found out it was in there somehow I forget but even after looking I almost missed it...even the girl at Michaels didnt know it was in there...
I haven't gotten any coupons from the store, but my Sunday paper had them (May 17) actually 2 coupons - 40% ( I think it was 40%) off one item this week and a bonus coupon for 50% off for any item May 25, and Monday May 26. The week before the snuck a coupon in the Parade magazine.
My last week's paper had coupons too -- two 40%-off ones. One was good through the 24th and the other for the 25th & 26th. Both good for any one regular priced item.
This was the first week I actually got them in months and months. That's interesting!
Normally we don't get them in the paper because the nearest Michael's is about 15 miles away. At least, that's why I thought we didn't them. Now I'm not so sure.
The rhythm I've noticed is that they come out every other week most of the year except around big holidays like Valentines and Easter. Then the coupons start coming weekly from about October through Christmas. It seems like they are trying other methods to get more coupons out there without doing the big multi-page ads, which have to be expensive. Like others have mentioned, a couple of times there have been coupons in the Parade magazine insert in the Sunday paper. I've been getting some in-store coupons lately and the email ones posted here at Splitcoast. The sad part is that at this stage they don't have much of what I'm needing except for consumables like glue, inkpads and the occasional Cuttlebug item. Even then, the new embossing folders have been out for months now and my Michael's hasn't had a one. Even Joann's had a small shipment then nothing else. It makes you wonder who's doing the buying for the stores and where they get their information.
I actually got an email the other day with a coupon. That has never happened before. Maybe they are moving in that direction? I don't buy the paper because I read the news online. I am glad they finally realize that they need to keep up with technology and email coupons.
I went to Mike's today to use 1) my 50% off coupon from last Sunday's ad and 2) my 25% off my entire purchase e-mail coupon -- regular-priced items only. And when I checked out, they gave me a flyer with a 50% off coupon good June 1-7 and a 25% off coupon good 4-8 pm on Sunday, June 1.
I was at M's yesterday and they had a pile of coupons on the counter. They are for 50% off any regular priced item for the rest of this week. Of course I grabbed 5 (I am in SS swaps) and the cashier put a couple in my bag as well. My neighbor also gave me her paper from last week that had a 50% off for today and tomorrow only, but also had a flyer with another 50% off good until June something. I thought this week M's was quite generous with their coupons. Hope your M's is too!
Used my 50% off on a Crop-a-dile. DS used his on a stamp (he is his own person and therefore gets his own coupon). They had a stack but claimed they weren't supposed to give them out anymore (the flyer with 50% off regular price coupon). Then we walked outside. DS picked up 13 flyers that were all over the parking lot. He knows a good coupon when he sees it. I have him trained well and he is only 5.
He already has his eye on a product or two. :mrgreen:

We never have flyers in our store and we never get a discount if we say we didn't get our coupon.
I have been missing the coupons too.
I am glad I don't have a store close I would have no money. It's a good 40 minute drive to mine. With gas so high it's not worth going. Our town was going to get a JoAnn's but turned it down because of the colors of the sign. Can you believe how stupid that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was furious and still am many years later.

When I was at Michaels on Friday, one of the cashiers told me that they were going to quit with flyer coupons and only do email coupons. You will automatically get them if you are signed up for the email newsletter I believe.
I used my Joann's coupon at Michaels on Sat, and they gave me a 50% coupon that was good for this week, so I went and got my MM Embellishment center today for 50% off... WOOO HOOO! I think on the weeks they don't do a coupon they have started giving them from the store...
I wonder if American Profile is the same as Parade because that is what we get. I usually skim through there but haven't seen a coupon.
Is it actually in the Parade magazine or is the flyer inserted in there?

If you have a Hobby Lobby in your area, take in the coupon from the Sunday paper. They honor competitors coupons. I don't know about Joann's coupns. I have not tried them.
Our Michael's coupon came in last weeks paper ... with two coupons - one for last week and one for this week. Additionally, when at Michael's last week, they were handing out 50% off coupons for this week.
3rd week with NO coupons from Michaels in the paper.
