Oh, this is a big improvement. I love my WWC, but I really dislike that big flat tin. It's terribly unstable and fragile, plus it's just too space-consuming if you don't have a huge work area - which I definitly do not. I had to have my tin replaced because it was packed in the bottom of a big box full of paper and stamps, and was warped. The warp was very small, but the box couldn't close properly and the lid would pop off in back. It would be very nice if SU! would sell the smaller tins to people who wanted to repackage their crayons.
Funny, I thought I was the only person to put a rubberband around my WWCs!!! I have dropped that stupid tin at least 5 times, and it's because it is unstable. I love that the crayons are repackaged!!!
NEWS!!! I spoke with Craig at SU and he said the US catties were to be delivered by this Thursday!!!! He said that this was being overseen by SU employees at the printing/shipping plants!!!YEAH!!!
So did anyone in the US get their catalogs today?????
I was practically foaming at the mouth (well not really) waiting to see if the man in brown was going to show up. NADA ........nothing like keeping a woman in suspence!!!!

If you look up your order on the SU! site with the Order number you should get a tracking number from that page and then see when yours will arrive. Mine says tomorrow and I'm in SE PA.
Hopefully I won't have to wait all day.

DITTO!!! My upline got her tracking number a few minutes ago. I ordered my catties 22 hours after she ordered hers! Her catties are due to arrive tomorrow!!! I'm going over to her house to mug the UPS driver in the morning!!!
Me too! And why not put in the things that coordinate -- Mixed Greetings with Mixed Blossoms, Wishes Awash with Leaves Awash...bummer!
My guess is that those things didn't sell well enough to make keeping them around worthwhile. Last year's summer mini definitely expired early enough to have its product sales taken into account when the new catty was planned.

Thanks Kissy for letting me know about the new colors not being made into markers.....YET! I'm still hopeful that in a mini catty they will show up as people will start requesting them! Please, please, please, please! I AM bummed that the new colors are available only as an assorted pack in the 12x12 CS. Oh well....I'll just have to deal with it! I think I understood that the 8� x 11 CS will be available in individual colors AND as an assorted pack....correct?
I'm just DYYYYYIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGG to see the new catalog! I'll be spending a lot of quality time (and $$$$$) on it!

My demo got hers today! And we're in Alaska...for once, Alaska gets something before the lower 48! Woohooo!
I haven't received the new cattie yet and I am dying to know... is the old hostess set "Island Blossoms" in it as a regular stamp set? I really really tried to earn it but unfortunately did not succeed. I am trying to improve my "sales"... any suggestions?
Island Blossoms is not in the new catty - don't think any of the hostess sets from now on will make it in the new catties... you still have about 4 days to get Island Blossoms...call up a few friends and see if they want to put in a order for anything retiring! Hope you're able to get it -- it's a great set!

None of the hostess sets will be in next year's catty (not even Island Blossoms :( ). SU made an announcement about that a while back. None of the SAB sets will be in either. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
Is there anyone from Alabama that has received thier catties yet? Just wondering. I know my demo had no idea what day hers would get here, but hopefully by Friday for her party. I am starting to get impatient, I want to see a catty now! :-)

I will say hi......it's so much fun to meet new friends. Aren't you totally excited about being a part of the Convention??? I hope they give you some great perks (besides 1st in line status). I've had quite a few fellow Denver demo friends be helpers at previous Conventions and they had so much fun!!

Thank you so much for posting. I am thrilled that so many of my investments in the mini cats have made the new catalog. For those of us on a tight budget and limited storage space, you have performed a great service. I have to choose my selections from the mini cats very carefully with a focus on those sets that I think might make the catalog. This has been a great way to start my day.
Now my only concern regarding the catalog is what have they replaced the vintage line with. This has been a great favorite of my customers, some who have emphatically stated that they hate the retro look and won't be buying it. Hoping for at least some new vintage sets.

I bought Island Blossoms off of eBay last month - $36 including shipping. Now that the news is out (to the non-SCS world) that it isn't in the catalog, the eBay prices are climbing. One buy-it-now is $50 already!
Maybe I shouldn't mount mine and hang on to it awhile?

My demo (in Canada) got hers yesterday ... SO I get to pick up a copy tonight! She is having them spiral bound today ... I can hardly wait ... I want this work day to be over with so I can drive to her place and get my copy!!!!! My wait is almost over, yeeeee-ha!
Can't wait to see the new catty, I am not a demonstrator althought spend enough that my demonstrator thinks that it would be easier if I were, anyway. She told me about the hostess sets not being in and I really wanted island blossoms, had a party last week and tried to get it but fell short, Have the new june hostess set coming and I am happy about that. Does anyone know if the watercolor crayons are repackaged and in the catty?
is the sunflower have stem also how many differant tops are there.I love sunflowers and gave away my level 2 hostess set that had the only 1 sunflower I had and loved it so I hope it's not too big.

I am so happy my demonstrator has a retired stamp sale. She had out over 80 retiring stamp sets, and the retiring wheels and accessories. She also marks everything down 40%, so I got Island Blossoms for only $20!!! My parties also fell short of earning it.
